Forecast of Maize Production in Henan Province  [PDF]

Abstract: Considering the influence of meteorological factors on maize production, in order to improve the yield of maize in Henan Province, a grey combination model is constructed to predict the yield of maize in Henan Province. Firstly, the yield of maize in 2017 is obtained by GM (1, 1) model; secondly, the trend yield of maize is obtained by HP filter method, then the meteorological yield of maize is obtained, and the yield of maize reduction is determined according to the meteorological yield. Combined with Markov model, the maize yield reduction in various cities in Henan Province is forecasted. Finally, based on the reduction of production, policy recommendations are made for maize production in Henan Province.

Abstract: As a special product, the cultivation and production of grain directly affect the consumption of people, which has an important influence on the development of social economy and the national economy and people’s livelihood. Firstly, the present situation of grain production is analyzed, and the problems facing the structural reform of grain supply side in China are analyzed from grain output and its import and export volume. Secondly, we use grey GM (1, 1) model to predict grain output and consumption, grain import and export volume and all kinds of grain crops output in China, and then analyze the future trend of grain production in China. Finally, we put forward construction of grain branding, rational allocation of grain planting varieties, construction of traceability system for grain production, further grain processing and development of “Internet agriculture” industrial model to promote structural reform of grain supply side.
Analysis of Maize Production Efficiency Based on DEA-Malmquist Indexes: A Case Study of Henan Province  [PDF]

Abstract: In order to improve the production efficiency of maize in Henan, China, the HP (High-Pass) filter method is used to obtain the maize trend yield. Secondly, the Malmquist index method is used to analyze the changes of TFP (Total Factor Productivity) of maize in 18 cities in Henan Province in the past 11 years. Finally, the amount of slack in maize input and output is analyzed. The results show that the research and development level of advanced technology of maize production in Henan Province has been improved to some extent in recent years; the advanced technology in various regions has not been fully promoted and utilized; there is a certain degree of relaxation in the input of various elements of maize; the resource allocation is unreasonable, and there is a certain amount of space for saving.

Abstract: In order to analyze the influencing factors of TFP (the abbreviation of Total Factor Productivity) deeply, this paper calculates and decomposes the TFP of the main grain producing provinces in China from 2006 to 2015 by the DEA-Malmquist index model. On the basis of this, the grey correlation analysis model based on super-efficiency DEA is used to quantitatively analyze the influencing factors of total factor productivity, technological progress and technical efficiency. The results show that the proportion of grain sowing, the level of food economic development, the level of grain mechanization, the average scale of operations and the level of fertilizer using have the most influence on grain total factor productivity. Finally, according to the results of the analysis, some suggestions are put forward to improve the TFP of different provinces in the main grain producing areas.

Abstract: Amino acid neurotransmitters represent a major class of compounds that are involved in neuronal communication at CNS synapses, which can provide the basis for a variety of disease diagnosis and treatments and the study of the mechanism of mental illness. An analytical method for the determination of several amino acids in saliva was established with reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP- HPLC) with UV detector. About ten kinds of amino acids were detected in saliva. Nine subjects have participated in the stress experiments which have undergone a 50-min three-dimensional cartoon watching. The result of the experiment has proved that four kinds of salivary amino acids respond to the vision stress experiment obviously

Abstract: Aiming at the needs of different lighting applications, combined with the characteristics of LED dimming and color control, and using MSP430 digital control technology, a novel LED intelligent dimming and color control system was designed. The system integrated Bluetooth remote, human infrared sensor, voice/gesture control and other control modes, which could achieve LED multi-mode dimming and color intelligent control. System hardware and software were designed to develop a prototype to experimental verification. The designed method proposes new ideas and information for LED control.

Abstract: Regional economic integration has got great achievements both in practice and theory since 1980s, which promotes the progress of the world economic liberalization. Besides the trade creation and diversion effect which had been researched widely, regional economic integration agreement also would create investment among members, and this dynamic investment effect now has been the main factor which pushes the progress of integration. Based on DID model and Gravity Model, this paper examines the influence of CEPA on FDI to Mainland China from Hong Kong by setting matched group, using 1998-2013 FDI from Hong Kong as sample. The conclusion is that CEPA and its supplemental agreements play a positive role on attracting Hong Kong FDI to Mainland China. With the transformation of development model in Mainland China, Hong Kong will invest more capital in knowledge-intensive Service industries in the future.

Abstract: Securities analysts’ prediction has been a conception which is paid attention to in recent years’ concern to the industry and academics, including the relationship between securities analysts’ prediction and their characteristics. This paper is aimed to research how securities analysts’ prediction influences the market. It is found that the impact capacity is generally weak in the market of China, and the consistency index of all the forecast accuracy indexes is especially important in determining the accuracy and the ability to predict the market.
Photosynthetic Toxicity and Oxidative Damage Induced by nano-Fe3O4 on Chlorella vulgaris in Aquatic Environment  [PDF]

Abstract: With the rapid development of nanotechnology and widespread use of nanoproducts, concerns have arisen regarding the ecotoxicity of these materials. In this paper, the photosynthetic toxicity and oxidative damage induced by nano Fe3O4 on a model organism, Chlorella vulgaris (C. vulgaris) in aquatic environment, were studied. The results showed that Nano-Fe3O4 was toxic to C. vulgaris and affected its content of chlorophyll a, malonaldehyde and glutathione, CO2 absorption, net photosynthetic rate, superoxide dismutase activity and inhibition of hydroxyl radical generation. At higher concentrations, compared with the control group, the toxicity of nano-Fe3O4 was significantly different. It suggested that nano-Fe3O4 is ecotoxic to C. vulgaris in aquatic environment.

Abstract: This paper discusses the problem of determining an unknown source which depends only on one variable for the modified Helmholtz equation. This problem is ill-posed in the sense that the solution (if it exists) does not depend continuously on the data. The regularization solution is obtained by the simplified Tikhonov regularization method. Convergence estimate is presented between the exact solution and the regularization solution. Moreover, numerical results are presented to illustrate the accuracy and efficiency of this method.
