Structure and magnetic properties of [FePt/Ag]10 multilayer films

Abstract: [FePt/Ag]10 multilayers were deposited on glass substrates by magnetron sputtering. After being annealed at 550°C for 30 min, the coercivities of [FePt/Ag]10 multilayer films were observably improved. Magnetic properties of [FePt/Ag]10 multilayer films are influenced by the Ag content. The highest coercivity is obtained for those multilayer films that the Ag content is about 25%. The analysis for the remanence curves shows that the lower FePt layer thickness is favorable for decreasing the intergranular interaction. Result of XRD shows that a thick Ag layer can enhance the intensity of FePt(00l) peak. A magnetic activation volume of the order of 10 24 m3 is obtained by the measurement of magnetic viscosity, showing that it is promising to be ultrahigh density recording media.

(001)-oriented FePt/Ag composite films for perpendicular recording

Abstract: FePt/Ag thin films were deposited by magnetron sputtering onto 7059 glass substrates, then were annealed at 550 ℃ for 30 min. Nanostructured FePt/Ag films were successfully obtained with the magnetic easy axis of Ll_0 FePt perpendicular to the film plane. It was found that the development of (001) texture depended strongly on the thicknesses of FePt magnetic layer and Ag underlayer. The L10 ordered FePt(15 nm)/Ag(50 nm) with (001) orientation can be obtained. And the perpendicular coercivity of FePt(15 nm)/Ag(50 nm) film reached to 7.2×10~5 A/m, whereas the longitudinal one was only 3.2×10~4 A/m. The non-magnetic Ag underlayer can not only induce (001) orientation and ordering of FePt grains, but also reduce the intergrain interactions.
Effects of Unconscious Processing on Implicit Memory for Fearful Faces

Abstract: Emotional stimuli can be processed even when participants perceive them without conscious awareness, but the extent to which unconsciously processed emotional stimuli influence implicit memory after short and long delays is not fully understood. We addressed this issue by measuring a subliminal affective priming effect in Experiment 1 and a long-term priming effect in Experiment 2. In Experiment 1, a flashed fearful or neutral face masked by a scrambled face was presented three times, then a target face (either fearful or neutral) was presented and participants were asked to make a fearful/neutral judgment. We found that, relative to a neutral prime face (neutral–fear face), a fearful prime face speeded up participants' reaction to a fearful target (fear–fear face), when they were not aware of the masked prime face. But this response pattern did not apply to the neutral target. In Experiment 2, participants were first presented with a masked faces six times during encoding. Three minutes later, they were asked to make a fearful/neutral judgment for the same face with congruent expression, the same face with incongruent expression or a new face. Participants showed a significant priming effect for the fearful faces but not for the neutral faces, regardless of their awareness of the masked faces during encoding. These results provided evidence that unconsciously processed stimuli could enhance emotional memory after both short and long delays. It indicates that emotion can enhance memory processing whether the stimuli are encoded consciously or unconsciously.
Volatiles from Prunus persica Flowers and Their Correlation with Flower-Visiting Insect Community in Wanbailin Ecological Garden, China  [PDF]

Abstract: Object: To investigate the VOCs from living Prunus persica flowers of different branches and their correlation with floral insects. Special, dominant and 20 VOCs were analysed from living Prunus persica flowers captured by closely and circularly headspace way in adsorbent tubes and ATD-GC/MS on 29 April in Wanbailin Ecological Garden, China. VOCs from high altitude tree are more than low altitude in sunny site, and floral volatile constituents from upslope branches are less than downslope of the same tree on high altitude. Special floral VOCs were alpha-dimethyl-benzenemethanol, isopropyl palmitate, ethylbenzene, p-xylene, acetophenone, 3-ethyl-2-methyl-Heptane on sunny slope, and propylene glycol, decanal, hexadecane on shady slope. Dominant VOCs founded during 8 temporal quanta were toluene, hexane, 2-ethyl-1-hexanol, dodecane, pentadecane. Floral VOCs’ number from sunny slope was significantly negative correlated with flower-visiting insect community richness, abundance, diversity on sunny or shady slope, which from shady slope was significantly positive correlated with flower-visiting insect community parameters on both slopes tried dividing insects visiting floral branches from Prunus persica in sunny site with n/2 + 1 or n/2 - 1, and shady site with n/2 before sampled volatiles day. On sampled volatiles day, 2-ethyl-1-hexanol from sunny slope was significantly positive correlated with flower-visiting insect community parameters on shady slope (P < 0.001). After sampled day, hexanal, toluene, dodecane were significantly negative correlated with SUSR, SUSA, SUSD, and positive with SHSR, SHSD, while tetradecane, pentadecane were positive related to SUSR, SUSA, SUSD with n/2 - 1 dividing insects visiting floral branches, but reversely with n/2 + 1 dividing insects visiting floral branches. We concluded that special and dominant volatiles applied to lure flower-visiting insects to promote pollination, and odd floral branches should be kept for every tree when pruning the Prunus persica on sunny slope, and even floral branches kept on shady slope.
A High Efficiency Spread Spectrum Scheme Using Approximate Orthogonal Complex Sequences  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper presents a high efficiency spread spectrum scheme using approximate orthogonal complex (AOC) sequences. In this scheme, the 64 AOC sequences picked up from 84 complex sequences space are employed for spreading spectrum. In modulation, 6 input bits is used to select one AOC sequence, and the selected sequence is then phase-rotated by another 2 input bits. In demodulator, a complex correlator detects the transmitted AOC sequence. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better BER performance than the existing complementary code keying (CCK) modulation scheme. For AOC, additional processing gain of 1.79dB can be obtained when the sequence length is 8.

Abstract: Environmental pollution has seriously damaged the health of mankind and the development of future generations. Because pollution damages are irreversible, taking effective measures to prevent contamination accidents is the primary task for administrative penalty on environmental pollution. However, the specific amount of such penalty is a little bit on the low side, and the standard for fixing the penalty is not rational somewhat. As a result, the original functions and purpose of administrative penalty on environmental pollution cannot be fully achieved. By comparing and using for reference related systems at home and abroad, this paper advances the drawbacks and suggestions for the amount fixing of China’s administrative penalty on environmental pollution in the hope of supplying theoretical basis for the improvement of China’s administrative penalty mechanism on environmental pollution.

Abstract: It is said that Guangzhou is an indefinable city. This paper analyzed the online travels from www.mafengwo.cn to study the destination image perception of tourists to Guangzhou. Content analysis was used to investigate the destination image perception of tourists from two aspects, namely cognitive image and affective image. Then by comparing the image of Guangzhou positioning in the literature with the online travels image, the paper concluded that Lingnan, Ram City and delicious food were more important in tourists’ perception. The results can provide reference when the government promotes the Guangzhou destination image.

Abstract: Under the background of high-speed rail networking, this paper uses the passenger trains, the type and direction of the railway via Hang Yong and its extension road line, to construct adsorption and dependency index among cities, depict the contact pattern between the Hang Yong dual-core and its hinterland, measure the “net effect” that two center cities (Hangzhou, Ningbo) have on their hinterland, and estimate population agglomeration potential and future possible population flows of Zhejiang Province and the main sample cities. The result shows that, compared with Ningbo, Hangzhou has stronger radiation force to the vast majority of sample cities, and the sample cities affected more by Ningbo mainly concentrates in Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou along; in addition, the sample cities such as Hangzhou, Ningbo and so on show better population agglomeration, then the population “scramble” phenomenon between cities has begun to appear.

Abstract:
Large goods transported in railway are kinds of special goods and they are very important in national construction. In order to transport safely, loading and reinforcing schemes must be made first. How to design a reasonable scheme will be affected by many factors. This paper presents the characteristic of the large goods, summarizes the process of designing a loading and reinforcing scheme of large good, then probes the factors of affecting the loading and reinforcing scheme and gives a detail analysis. It’s considered that those out-of-gauge and overweight degree of goods, center-of- gravity height of a loaded wagon, position of center-of-gravity of goods, type of wagon for using, reinforcement material and reinforcement method, transport expense and transport organization could affect a scheme in the aspects of safety, economy, rapidity and convenience. This conclusion will instruct and help to make a good scheme.
