Abstract: At present, sexual harassment in domestic workplace has a high probability of occurrence, which causes more and more attention. In this paper, the form of sexual harassment in workplace, and how to solve the sexual harassment were investigated and analyzed through questionnaires; and countermeasures and management suggestions were put forward from three aspects of corporate, employees and family.
University Students’ Employability Skills Model Based on Chinese Employer Perspective  [PDF]

Abstract: The employability and the employability skills of the university students in China are now being the most important capacity which the employers pay the highest attention to. The aim of this research was to identify the university students’ employability skills and college students’ employability skills framework to reinforce the employability research and the field of human resource development (HRD) in the Chinese context. From the perspective of the employers, using the methods of interview and questionnaire, this paper studied the contents of the students’ employability skills which the Chinese employers recognized and got the model of university students’ employability skills. The results showed that college student’s personal characteristics perceived by the service industry employers and the manufacture industry employers major focused on honesty, independence, self-confidence, adaptability, and enthusiasm. Basic knowledge which perceived by the service industry employers and the manufacture industry employers centralized political knowledge, and economic knowledge. Interpersonal relationship, teamwork, strain capacity, problem handling capacity, leadership, information technology software applications, and presentation skills were the abilities at present and in the next five years that both industry employers thought very important skills and abilities. The conclusions can be got that the employability skills perceived by Chinese employers whether in service industry or in manufacture industry include personal qualities, basic knowledge, skills and abilities. The employability skills framework perceived by employers at present in service industry and in manufacture industry is slightly different. On the contrary, it is surprising that the employability skills at present and in the next 5 years perceived by service industry employers or manufacture industry employers have a significant difference alternatively. Suggestions on managerial implications and future research directions are put forward respectively.

Abstract: This paper investigates four classes of functions with a single discontinuous point. We give the sufficient and necessary conditions under which the second order iterates are continuous functions. Furthermore, the sufficient conditions for the continuity of the even order iterates with finitely many discontinuous points are obtained.

Abstract:

A new near-infrared fluorophore 2-(2-Aminoethyl) pyridine-tricarbocyanine (1) was rationally designed and synthe-sized as a fluorescent probe for detection of Cu2+ with high selectivity. The response of Probe 1 is based on the fluorescence quenching upon binding to Cu2+. The sensing performance of the proposed Cu2+-sensitive Probe 1 was then investigated. The probe can be applied to the quantification detection of Cu2+ with a linear concentration range covering from 4.8 × 10-7 to 1.6 × 10-4 mol/L and a detection limit of 9.3 × 10-8 mol/L. The condensation in non-growing complex networks under Boltzmann limit

Abstract: We extend the Bianconi-Barab\'asi (B-B) fitness model to the non-growing complex network with fixed number of nodes and links. It is found that the statistical physics of this model makes it an appropriate representation of the Boltzmann statistics in the context of complex networks. The phase transition of this extended model is illustrated with numerical simulation and the corresponding "critical temperature" $T_c$ is identified. We note that the "non-condensation phase" in $T > T_c$ regime is different with "fit-get-rich" (FGR) phase of B-B model and that the connectivity degree distribution P(k) deviates from power-law distribution at given temperatures.
Tsallis mapping in growing complex networks with fitness

Abstract: We introduce Tsallis mapping in Bianconi-Barab\'asi (B-B) fitness model of growing networks. This mapping addresses the dynamical behavior of the fitness model within the framework of nonextensive statistics mechanics, which is characterized by a dimensionless nonextensivity parameter $q$. It is found that this new phenomenological parameter plays an important role in the evolution of networks: the underlying evolving networks may undergo a different phases depending on the $q$ exponents, comparing to the original B-B fitness model, and the corresponding critical transition "temperature" is identified.
Condensation phase transition in nonlinear fitness networks

Abstract: We analyze the condensation phase transitions in out-of-equilibrium complex networks in a unifying framework which includes the nonlinear model and the fitness model as its appropriate limits. We show a novel phase structure which depends on both the fitness parameter and the nonlinear exponent. The occurrence of the condensation phase transitions in the dynamical evolution of the network is demonstrated by using Bianconi-Barabasi method. We find that the nonlinear and the fitness preferential attachment mechanisms play important roles in formation of an interesting phase structure.
State Estimators for Uncertain Linear Systems with Different Disturbance/Noise Using Quadratic Boundedness

Abstract: This paper designs state estimators for uncertain linear systems with polytopic description, different state disturbance, and measurement noise. Necessary and sufficient stability conditions are derived followed with the upper bounding sequences on the estimation error. All the conditions can be expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the approach.

Abstract: Component activities in CaO-MgO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 and CaO-MnO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 systems were calculated by a sub-regular solution model of a multi-component system. A thermodynamic modeling for controls of deoxidation and oxide inclusion in molten steel was developed based on these calculations, which was used for thermodynamic calculations for deoxidation, slag-melt equilibration and oxide-melt equilibration in order to control the deoxidation and compositions of oxide inclusion of steel. The results of model applications are validated with the industrial database such as the silicon deoxidation through slag-melt equilibration in LF, the calcium treatment of Al-Si killed steel and the composition of oxide inclusion formed during solidification in caster. The presented modeling can be used in deoxidation control and oxide inclusion control in steel.
Finite Element Methods for the Stochastic Allen-Cahn Equation with Gradient-type Multiplicative Noises

Abstract: This paper studies finite element approximations of the stochastic Allen-Cahn equation with gradient-type multiplicative noises that are white in time and correlated in space. The sharp interface limit as the parameter $\epsilon \rightarrow 0$ of the stochastic equation formally approximates a stochastic mean curvature flow which is described by a stochastically perturbed geometric law of the deterministic mean curvature flow. Both the stochastic Allen-Cahn equation and the stochastic mean curvature flow arise from materials science, fluid mechanics and cell biology applications. Two fully discrete finite element methods which are based on different time-stepping strategies for the nonlinear term are proposed. Strong convergence with sharp rates for both fully discrete finite element methods is proved. This is done with a crucial help of the H\"{o}lder continuity in time with respect to the spatial $L^2$-norm and $H^1$-seminorm for the strong solution of the stochastic Allen-Cahn equation, which are key technical lemmas proved in paper. It also relies on the fact that high moments of the strong solution are bounded in various spatial and temporal norms. Numerical experiments are provided to gauge the performance of the proposed fully discrete finite element methods and to study the interplay of the geometric evolution and gradient-type noises.
