Orthogonal Methods Based Ant Colony Search for Solving Continuous Optimization Problems

Abstract: Research into ant colony algorithms for solving continuous optimization problems forms one of the most significant and promising areas in swarm computation. Although traditional ant algorithms are designed for combinatorial optimization, they have shown great potential in solving a wide range of optimization problems, including continuous optimization. Aimed at solving continuous problems effectively, this paper develops a novel ant algorithm termed “continuous orthogonal ant colony” (COAC), whose pheromone deposit mechanisms would enable ants to search for solutions collaboratively and effectively. By using the orthogonal design method, ants in the feasible domain can explore their chosen regions rapidly and efficiently. By implementing an “adaptive regional radius” method, the proposed algorithm can reduce the probability of being trapped in local optima and therefore enhance the global search capability and accuracy. An elitist strategy is also employed to reserve the most valuable points. The performance of the COAC is compared with two other ant algorithms for continuous optimization — API and CACO by testing seventeen functions in the continuous domain. The results demonstrate that the proposed COAC algorithm outperforms the others. Chronic Zinc Exposure Decreases the Surface Expression of NR2A-Containing NMDA Receptors in Cultured Hippocampal Neurons

Abstract: Background Zinc distributes widely in the central nervous system, especially in the hippocampus, amygdala and cortex. The dynamic balance of zinc is critical for neuronal functions. Zinc modulates the activity of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors (NMDARs) through the direct inhibition and various intracellular signaling pathways. Abnormal NMDAR activities have been implicated in the aetiology of many brain diseases. Sustained zinc accumulation in the extracellular fluid is known to link to pathological conditions. However, the mechanism linking this chronic zinc exposure and NMDAR dysfunction is poorly understood. Methodology/Principal Findings We reported that chronic zinc exposure reduced the numbers of NR1 and NR2A clusters in cultured hippocampal pyramidal neurons. Whole-cell and synaptic NR2A-mediated currents also decreased. By contrast, zinc did not affect NR2B, suggesting that chronic zinc exposure specifically influences NR2A-containg NMDARs. Surface biotinylation indicated that zinc exposure attenuated the membrane expression of NR1 and NR2A, which might arise from to the dissociation of the NR2A-PSD-95-Src complex. Conclusions Chronic zinc exposure perturbs the interaction of NR2A to PSD-95 and causes the disorder of NMDARs in hippocampal neurons, suggesting a novel action of zinc distinct from its acute effects on NMDAR activity.
Aerodynamic Model Analysis and Flight Simulation Research of UAV Based on Simulink  [PDF]

Mathematical simulation method can be adopted to check flight characteristic of UAV, also can be adopted to simulate hardware experiments of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), then related flight experiments can be performed. The simulation method can reduce the flight periods, cost and risk. UAV flight model research play an important role in simulation and modeling in initialize periods of the UAV producing. The study of the paper focuses on the aerodynamic force modeling work of UAV based on Simulink. The designed model not only can afford mathematics simulation experiment but also will do benefits to the research of flight control, navigation guidance of UAV.

Growth Mechanism for N-doped ZnO Films Grown by Spray Pyrolysis Method

Abstract: 通过超声喷雾热解工艺,以醋酸锌和醋酸铵的混合水溶液为前驱溶液,在单晶Si(100) 衬底上制备了N掺杂ZnO薄膜,采用热质联用分析(TG—DSC—MS)、X射线衍射(XRD)、场发射扫描电镜(FESEM)和霍耳效应(Hall-effect)测试等手段研究了喷雾热解工艺下N掺杂ZnO薄膜的生长机理、晶体结构和电学性能.结果表明,随衬底温度的不同,薄膜呈现出不同的生长机理,从而影响薄膜的晶体结构和电学性能.在优化的衬底温度下,实现了ZnO薄膜的p型掺杂,得到的p型ZnO薄膜具有优异的电学性能,载流子浓度为3.21×1018cm-3,霍耳迁移率为110cm2·V-1s-1,电阻率为1.76×10-2Ω·cm.
Reversible cardiogenic shock caused by atrioventricular junctional rhythm after percutaneous coronary intervention

Abstract: An 82-year-old female patient undergoing cardiogenic shock caused by atrioventricular junctional rhythm immediately after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is described. Pharmacotherapy was invalid, and subsequent application of atrial pacing reversed the cardiogenic shock. PCI-related injury of sinuatrial nodal artery leading to acute atrial contractility loss, accompanied by atrioventricular junctional arrhythmia, was diagnosed. We recommend that preoperative risk evaluation be required for multi-risk patients. Likewise, emergent measures should to be established in advance. This case reminds us that atrial pacing can be an optimal management technique once cardiogenic shock has occurred.

Abstract: We observed the characteristics of high energy nanosecond chirped pulse by spectral-resolved streak camera,which works well with energetic chirped pulse of nanosecond pulse duration.At the same time,it can monitor the alignment of grating compressor.The measurement results show that the pulse generated by PW demonstration facility is linearly chirped,verifying the compressibility of amplified nanosecond pulse.
Protective effects of hydrogen-rich saline on monocrotaline-induced pulmonary hypertension in a rat model

Abstract: In male Sprague-Dawley rats, pulmonary hypertension was induced by subcutaneous administration of monocrotaline at a concentration of 6 mg/100 g body weight. Hydrogen-rich saline (5 ml/kg) or saline was administred intraperitoneally once daily for 2 or 3 weeks. Severity of pulmonary hypertension was assessed by hemodynamic index and histologic analysis. Malondialdehyde and 8-hydroxy-desoxyguanosine level, and superoxide dismutase activity were measured in the lung tissue and serum. Levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-6) in serum were determined with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Hydrogen-rich saline treatment improved hemodynamics and reversed right ventricular hypertrophy. It also decreased malondialdehyde and 8-hydroxy-desoxyguanosine levels, and increased superoxide dismutase activity in the lung tissue and serum, accompanied by a decrease in pro-inflammatory cytokines.These results suggest that hydrogen-rich saline ameliorates the progression of pulmonary hypertension induced by monocrotaline in rats, which may be associated with its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.Pulmonary hypertension (PH), a syndrome that encompasses several diseases, is characterized by a progressive elevation of pulmonary arterial pressure, which may ultimately induce right ventricular (RV) failure and death [1]. Pulmonary hypertension, either idiopathic or secondary, may share some of the following pathological or functional changes, including vascular remodeling, endothelial dysfunction/increased vasoconstriction, oxidative stress and inflammation. Among these changes, the effects of oxidative stress and inflammation on PH have been investigated intensively in recent years. Oxidative stress is characterized by an increase in oxidants with or without a decrease in antioxidants or antioxidant enzymes. Abstract: 农户是农业节水的主体, 考察太行山前平原区农户采用小麦玉米农艺节水技术意愿的影响因素, 对推广农艺节水技术具有重要意义。本文依据对太行山前平原区的农户调查资料, 运用二项Logit模型, 对农户采用小麦玉米农艺节水技术意愿的影响因素进行了实证研究。结果表明, 种植业收入占家庭总收入比重、水价、信息传播渠道的培训会对农户采用小麦玉米农艺节水技术的意愿有显著正向影响, 水资源短缺程度对农户采用小麦玉米农艺节水技术的意愿有显著负向影响。太行山前平原区小麦玉米农艺节水技术应该重点向种植业收入占家庭总收入比重高、劳动力占家庭总人口比重较高、家庭年均总收入较高、土地经营规模较大、女性户主、户主文化程度较高的农户示范、推广; 研究区农民节水意识淡薄, 急需通过各种途径强化对农民的节水宣传; 应加强引导示范户发挥示范、带动作用; 继续对农户采用节水技术进行扶持, 加大扶持力度; 并应采用培训会等多种渠道传播农艺节水信息。
The Research Progress of Treating Chlorobenzenes in Wastewater by Microorganisms

Abstract: Chlorobenzenes are main pollutants in wastewater. The new development of the microbial treatment techniques for chlorobenzenes-removal in the wastewater is discussed in this paper. It was included that microoganisms degrading chlorobenzenes, aerobic and anaerobic biodegradation, biological co-meta- bolism, and biological treatment processes. The developmental trend of biological degradation chlorobenzenes is also predicted.

Abstract: 研究分析光合细菌球形红细菌在厌氧光照条件下降解邻二氯苯的条件和机理.结果表明,在厌氧光照条件下球形红细菌的最佳生长和对邻二氯苯的最佳降解条件为:pH 7.0,温度为30℃,接种量10%.在最佳条件下,邻二氯苯的去除率可达90%以上;其降解中间产物主要有氯苯、4-羟基苯甲酸;根据降解产物的分析,推断球形红细菌降解邻二氯苯的机理主要是按照先脱掉一个氯原子生成氯苯,然后氯苯进一步脱氯并通过4-羟基苯甲酸的代谢途径开环进行.
