A weak second term identity of the regularized Siegel-Weil formula for unitary groups

Abstract: Following W.T.Gan and S.Takeda, we obtain a weak second term identity of the regularized Siegel-Weil formula for the unitary dual pair $(U(n,n),U(V))$, where $V$ is a split hermitian space of dimension $2r$ with $r+1 \leq n \leq 2r-1$. As an application, we obtain a Rallis inner product formula for theta lifts from $U(W)$ to $U(V)$ for a skew-hermitian space $W$ of dimension $n$.
Problems-solving strategies in clinical treatment guideline for traditional Chinese medicine and integrative medicine

Abstract: ABSTRACT: The members of guideline development of traditional Chinese medicine and integrative medicine were not chosen according to strict standards at present. The major problems in clinical guideline development include the insufficiency of evidence and the missing recommendation according to evidence reliability. In order to establish a clinical guideline for the treatment, we should abide by the principle for guideline development in this field. Firstly, a guideline development group must be set up and the evidences are needed to be classified correctly. To facilitate the clinical practice, the recommendations in the treatment guideline should be divided into different classes and the referring recommendation reasons should be given at the same time. Only when the guideline development principles and procedures are strictly followed can a clinical guideline for the treatment suitable to the situation in China be established.
On Postponed Production Optimization for Two-stage Supply Chain in Mass Customization

Abstract: Cost models were built for both traditional supply chain environment and mass customization environment. Then, the queuing theory of extending M/M/1 model is used to optimize the total cost. Through simulations, the lowest cost for both situations was explored, and the results show that retailer's ordering strategy as well as the location of the CODP has significant influence on the total cost. It can provide theoretical support for manufacturers to locate the CODP point correctly, and also provide a basis for making a decision in implementing postponed strategy for manufacturers.
Alexandrov-Fenchel type inequalities for convex hypersurfaces in hyperbolic space and in sphere

Abstract: In this paper, firstly, inspired by Nat\'{a}rio's recent work \cite{Na}, we use the isoperimetric inequality to derive some Alexandrov-Fenchel type inequalities for closed convex hypersurfaces in the hyperbolic space $\H^{n+1}$ and in the sphere $\SS^{n+1}$. We also get the rigidity in the spherical case. Secondly, we use the inverse mean curvature flow in sphere \cite{gerh,Mak-Sch} to prove an optimal Sobolev type inequality for closed convex hypersurfaces in the sphere.
An Algorithm for Computing $m$-Tight Error Linear Complexity of Sequences over $GF(p^{m})$ with Period $p^{m}$

Abstract: The linear complexity (LC) of a sequence has been used as a convenient measure of the randomness of a sequence. Based on the theories of linear complexity, $k$-error linear complexity, the minimum error and the $k$-error linear complexity profile, the notion of $m$-tight error linear complexity is presented. An efficient algorithm for computing $m$-tight error linear complexity is derived from the algorithm for computing $k$-error linear complexity of sequences over GF($p^{m}$) with period $p^n$, where $p$ is a prime. The validity of the algorithm is shown. The algorithm is also realized with C language, and an example is presented to illustrate the algorithm.

Abstract:

With the large-scale development of Chinese electric power, the contradiction of China’s energy supply and demand that reverse distributed is very prominent, therefore, promoting electricity trading is one of the important measures to get optimized configuration of energy resources in nationwide. For the two kinds of trading method, the “power point to the grid” trading and the “grid to grid” trading, this paper designed pricing mechanism model, and took one area as an example, we analyzed the impact of the participants by using different pricing mechanism, and put forward reasonable policy proposals for China’s pricing mechanism of trans-regional and trans-provincial electricity trading.

Abstract: The impact of strong wind and rain loads will adversely affect the reliability of the overhead lines, it’s necessary to study changes in risk of transmission system and establish the reliability model of overhead lines through the strong wind and rain loads. In this article, the stochastic properties of overhead lines’ strength and loads were used, according to principles of structural reliability, time-dependent failure probability model of overhead lines was established under the impact of strong wind and rain loads. Simulation of the IEEE-79 system demonstrates that failure probability model is effective. This simulation result also shows that the impact of strong wind and rain loads will seriously affect reliability indices of system loads, rain loads cannot be ignored under
strong wind and rain loads.
A New Method for the Dynamic Reserves of Gas Condensate Reservoir Using Cyclic Gas Injection Based on the Effects of Reinjection Ratio and Water Influx  [PDF]

Abstract: As we all know, cyclic gas injection is one of the most effective development methods to improve condensate oil recovery. When dealing with the calculation of the reserves, the injection-production differences and water influx create great influence on the accuracy. Based on the existing research, we proposed a new material balance equation which considered the differences of composition between produced and injected fluids and the effect of water influx, and a solution was provided in this paper. The results of the method are closer to the actual situation because they are built on the law of conservation of mass, and the using of curve fitting method can not only avoid the use of water influx coefficient but also obtain the water influx rate and reserves at the same time. The YH-23 gas condensate reservoir is taking as a typical subject to do the research, which has been exploited by cycle gas injection for 14 years. Three different methods are used to calculate the reserves, and the results show that the method proposed in this paper has minimum error of 2.96%.

Abstract: An algorithm for solving the satisfiability problem is presented. It is proved that this algorithm solves 2-SAT and Horn-SAT in linear time andk-positive SAT (in which every clause contains at mostk positive literals) in timeO(|F|·ξ n k ), where |F| is the length of inputF, n is the number of atoms occurring inF, and ξ k is the greatest real number satisfying the equation . Compared with previous results, this nontrivial upper bound on time complexity could only be obtained fork-SAT, which is a subproblem ofk-positive SAT. Research partially supported by NSFC grant 221-4-1439. HUANG Xiong received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from Peking University in 1992 and 1995 respectively. Now he is a Ph.D. candidate in Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His major research interests are design and analysis of algorithms, computational complexity, and satisfiability problem. LI Wei received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Peking University in 1966 and his Ph.D. degree in computer science from The University of Edinburgh in 1983. Since 1986, he has been a Professor in computer science at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He has published over 100 papers in the areas of concurrent programming languages, operational semantics, type theory, and logical foundation of artificial intelligence.
The performance of regional simulation of CERES-Rice model and its uncertainties

Abstract: One primary purpose of regional simulation is to predict the spatial yield variation and temporal yield fluctuation, with presently available geographical database. Most crop models are site-specific, and some researches have attempted to up-scale the crop models for regional simulation. However, few have emphasized on their performance and uncertainties. The performance of regional simulation in China was evaluated in this study, and CERES-Rice model was employed in the simulation. In order to assess the suitability of model application for environments in China, we first calibrated the crop model at plot scale over main rice areas. Second, we calibrated and validated the CERES-Rice model at regional scale using the statistic of RMSE, cultivar coefficients and management practices were aggregated into each sub Agro-Ecological Zone (AEZ). Last, for analyzing the performance of the regional simulation, we simulated the historical (1981-2000) rice yield at 50 km 50 km grid scale, and compared the simulated with census values. Results show: the pattern of yield variation captured by model in most of the rice areas, especially in the main rice planting regions, i.e. AEZ 1-4 (over 95% of the total rice cultivation area), with RMSE< 22%. Some regions showed bad results, i.e. AEZ 5 and 6 with RMSE% 24%-30%. Simulated year-to-year yields matched well with the census values. 71.01% of simulation grids showed a bias less than 30%, most of them concentrated in the main rice planting areas. Therefore, the regional simulation is able to produce a reasonable estimation in spatial yield variation and temporal yield fluctuation, it can be used as a tool to provide information for policy makers at macro scale. There were various sources of uncertainty in the study and were analyzed in the discussion section.
