A Method of Workflow Scheduling Based on Colored Petri Nets

Abstract: An effective method of workflow scheduling can improve the performance of the whole workflow system. Static methods of workflow scheduling can reach the global optimal results under static circumstance.But they cannot deal with uncertainties and dynamic circumstances.Dynamic scheduling methods can optimize workflow scheduling while taking all the uncertainties and the dynamic circumstances into account.The results achieved by dynamic methods are usually optimal for single task,but not optimal as a whole.Based on the analysis of static scheduling methods and dynamic ones,a new workflow scheduling method is proposed.The uncertainties and the dynamic circumstances can be well dealt with.And a satisfactory balance between static global optimization and dynamic local optimization can be a- chieved.Experimental results show the feasibility and the priority of this method.

Abstract: 随着云计算的蓬勃发展,计算机行业的能耗问题日益突出。状态管理一直是优化能耗的有效方法之一。对数据中心的服务器进行合理的状态管理能带来可观的节能收益。针对数据中心等机群环境下服务器的状态能耗进行研究,提出基于状态管理的服务器能耗优化方法,以在保证性能的同时,降低了能耗。首先分析状态管理对服务器能耗带来的影响,根据分析提出服务器的状态优化策略,然后利用Petri网及其状态分析技术对该策略的状态能耗模型和性能模型进行分析。实例分析和模拟实验验证了该方法的有效性和优越性。

Abstract: Scheduling of workflows is an important issue in workflow management.Many researches have been done in this area,but most of them are confined to static method of workflow scheduling.Actually,dynamic scheduling methods are more reasonable than static ones.Based on existed researches,some heuristic rules of workflow dynamic scheduling are presented.An optimization method based on Genetic Algorithm(GA)is proposed to schedule workflows dynamically.Examples are given to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the method.Experiment results show that the method has good performance and outperformed static methods.

Abstract: 设计了一个基于支持向量规划的香烟销量预测和销售趋势分析数学模型(LR_ε-SVR和NLR_ε-SVR)及算法(ε-SVR_SP)。企业的历史销售情况及企业外部的一些环境和条件作为算法的输入,输出未来一定时期的销量预测数据和销售趋势图。基于非线性核函数的学习算法降低了训练空间向量的维度,从而降低了计算复杂性,减少了对训练学习数据量的要求,提高了计算精度,降低了计算时间。通过模拟实验、实际数据集合实验及与神经网络算法的对比,验证了该算法的精确度和计算效率。

Abstract: Dipteridaceae is a natural taxon,containing a single genus,Dipteris Reinwardt and eight species,of which three are occuring in China,D.chinensis Christ,D.conjugata(Kaulf.) Reinw.and D.wallichii(R.Br.) T.Moore.Two species are found in Yunnan,China,D.chinensis Christ and D.wallichii(R.Br.) T.Moore.A newly recorded species,D.wallichii(R.Br.)T.Moore from Yunnan,China,was reported and a key to the species and new color plates are provided.

Abstract: A simple scheme is proposed to generate the $W$ state of $N$ $\Lambda$-type neutral atoms trapped in an optical cavity via Raman transition. Conditional on no photon leakage from the cavity, the $N$-qubit $W$ state can be prepared perfectly by turning on a classical coupling field for an appropriate time. Compared with the previous ones, our scheme requires neither individual laser addressing of the atoms, nor demand for controlling $N$ atoms to go through an optical cavity simultaneously with a constant velocity. We investigate the influence of cavity decay using the quantum jump approach and show that the preparation time decreases and the success probability increases with atom number because of a collective enhancement of the coupling.

Abstract: Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris (Xcc) is the causal agent of the black rot disease of cruciferous plants. Our previous work had demonstrated that XC3814 is required for full virulence and extracellular polysaccharide production. In this work, the reporter plasmid pL3814sac was constructed by fusing the promoter region of XC3814 to the coding region of the gene sacB, and introduced into Xcc wild-type strain 8004. The resulted strain 8004/pL3814sac was mutagenized randomly by the transposon EZ::Tn5, and 3 mutant strains insensitive to sucrose were isolated. One of the mutants was due to the disruption of the open reading frame XC3882, which was assigned to code a hypothetical protein. To verify whether XC3882 has an impact on the expression level of XC3814, the reporter plasmid pGUS3814 was constructed by fusing the promoter region of XC3814 to the coding region of the gusA gene. This construct was introduced into the wild-type strain 8004 and the XC3882 mutant strain 190A10, which was derived from the transposon Tn5gusA5 insertion. The GUS activity, produced by pGUS3814 in the XC3882 mutant background, was reduced by 81.3% compared to that in the wild type background. These results indicate that the expression of XC3814 is influenced by XC3882.

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title hydrazone compound, C15H10BrClN2O4, contains two independent molecules. The dihedral angles between the benzene rings are 38.7 (3)° in one molecule and 24.3 (3)° in the other. Both molecules exist in trans conformations with respect to the C=N double bonds of the central methylidene units. Intramolecular O—H...N contacts are observed in both molecules, forming S(6) rings. In the crystal, molecules are linked through N—H...O hydrogen bonds into chains along the a axis.
Effects of Fatty Acid Treatments on the Dexamethasone-Induced Intramuscular Lipid Accumulation in Chickens

Abstract: Background Glucocorticoid has an important effect on lipid metabolism in muscles, and the type of fatty acid likely affects mitochondrial utilization. Therefore, we hypothesize that the different fatty acid types treatment may affect the glucocorticoid induction of intramuscular lipid accumulation. Methodology/Principal Findings The effect of dexamethasone (DEX) on fatty acid metabolism and storage in skeletal muscle of broiler chickens (Gallus gallus domesticus) was investigated with and without fatty acid treatments. Male Arbor Acres chickens (31 d old) were treated with either palmitic acid (PA) or oleic acid (OA) for 7 days, followed by DEX administration for 3 days (35–37 d old). The DEX-induced lipid uptake and oxidation imbalance, which was estimated by increased fatty acid transport protein 1 (FATP1) expression and decreased carnitine palmitoyl transferase 1 activity, contributed to skeletal muscle lipid accumulation. More sensitive than glycolytic muscle, the oxidative muscle in DEX-treated chickens showed a decrease in the AMP to ATP ratio, a decrease in AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) alpha phosphorylation and its activity, as well as an increase in the phosphorylation of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) and ribosomal p70S6 kinase, without Akt activation. DEX-stimulated lipid deposition was augmented by PA, but alleviated by OA, in response to pathways that were regulated differently, including AMPK, mTOR and FATP1. Conclusions DEX-induced intramuscular lipid accumulation was aggravated by SFA but alleviated by unsaturated fatty acid. The suppressed AMPK and augmented mTOR signaling pathways were involved in glucocortcoid-mediated enhanced intramuscular fat accumulation.
