Abstract: Using a Koster-Slater one band-one-side approximation, the relationship between the pressure behavior of nitrogen bound excitons and the band structure is investigated in GaP and GaAs1-xPx. An analytical expression is found to be a good approximation for the pressure coefficient of the deep impurity state. The pressure coefficients of N and NNi bound exciton states are calculated in GaP and GaAs0.17P0.83. A tentative new assignment which agrees with experiments in both ordering of levels and pressure coefficients is given for nitrogen pair configurations.

Abstract: Using the methods of the wavelet transform and the nonlinear dynamics, the behavior of chaotic signals in phase space is studied. It is indicated that, in phase space reconstruction, the wavelet transform of chaotic time series is essentially a projection of strange attractor on the axis of the space that filter vectors opened, which in correspondance with the method of phase space reconstruction proposed by Packard et al. The experimental results show that, after doing wavelet transform, the architecture of attractor trajectory is similar to the original one, and the nonlinear invariants such as correlation dimension and Kolmogorov entropy are reserved. These results show that wavelet transform is effective for studying chaotic signal.

Abstract: A new chaotic spread spectrum communication system FFH-FMDCSK is presented, which is based on FMDCSK and fast frequency hopping techniques. FFH-FMDCSK is able to improve the performance of FMDCSK on anti-jam, multiple access, and resistance to multipath fading as well as low interference to other systems. This paper compares the BER performance of FFH-FMDCSK with that of FMDCSK in multi-path channel, and delivers the theoretical analysis and Monte-Carlo simulation results.

Abstract: 本文研究了77K温度下GaAs0.15P0.85:N样品的静压光致发光。在P>10kbar时,可清楚地观察到NN1的发光。同时,观察到压力下Nx带发光猝灭及谱带窄化现象。结果表明,压力效应明显地加强了Nx→NN1的热助能量转移过程。对Nx能级和NN1能级的压力行为进行了分析和拟合计算,得到相应能级的压力系数及波函数中各能谷的有关参数。

Abstract: The periodically poled characteristics of LiNbO_3 doped 5mol% MgO were investigated and the domain reversal field was found to be 3kV/mm. According to the influence of MgO doped on the crystal defect, the decrease reason of the domain reversal field was explained. By using short-pulse field, the periodically poled grating was successfully fabricated in 1.0mm thick MgO:LiNbO_3. Second harmonic green light generation in periodically poled MgO:LiNbO_3 was demonstrated. The green light power of 3.5mW at 532nm is obtained when the fundamental power is 75mW, and the conversion efficiency is 4.6%.

Abstract: 对基于多周期极化掺镁铌酸锂晶体(PPMgLN) 的信号光单谐振准相位匹配光学参量振荡器(QPM-OPO)进行了实验研究.以输出波长为1.064靘的声光调Q Nd:YAG固体激光器作为基频泵浦源对周期为29~31.5靘的多周期掺镁(5mol%)铌酸锂极化光栅进行了光学参量振荡温度、周期调谐实验,光参量振荡阈值功率仅为45mW(重复频率1kHz).通过温度调谐(20~180℃)与周期调谐(29.0~31.0靘)相结合,实现了调谐范围为1445~1685nm的信号光稳定输出.
Simulation Study of Dynamic Fault Recovery Performance of VSC-HVDC System  [PDF]

Abstract:

The fault recovery of VSC-HVDC transmission system is often influenced by many factors, such as the reactive power compensation characteristics of the inverter and the dynamic performance of DC controllers. In this paper, the PSCAD/ EMTDC simulation tool is used to study the dynamic recovery performance of VSC-HVDC system for several different var compensating devices in VSC-HVDC inverter-Fixed capacitor (FC), Static Var compensator (SVC), and Static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) when VSC-HVDC is subject to various faults, including three phase groundings, single phase grounding and three phase breakings. The result shows that the recovery process of the whole system will be slowed down due to its negative influence on the strength of AC power system with the application of SVC, while the STATCOM can improve VSC-HVDC recovery performance greatly for its advantages over other compensating devices in areas such as voltage support ability and DC power recovery.

Interfacial molecular assembly and surface patterning

Abstract: Based on a brief review of the traditional surface patterning research, this article introduces the recent progress in the research on surface patterning via molecular self-assembly. Because the size scale of molecular self-assemblies is in the range of 1–100 nm, the method of molecular self-assembly can easily lead to the construction of ordered structures in nanometer scale, and thus break through the size limit of traditional lithography. Some novel ways of molecular self-assembly for surface patterning are particularly introduced in this review, including supramolecular architecture at interface, chemisorption of dendron thoils, and surface aggregation of bolaform amphiphiles. Provided that we know more and more about the basic principles governing the surface morphology, it is believed that interfacial molecular assembly would be a very competitive supramolecular technique, and a potential application in many fields such as surface property adjustment, organic patterned devices, surface molecular recognition, and combinatorial chemistry is greatly anticipated.

Abstract: Composite membranes and sponge scaffolds consisting chitosan (CS) and acellular derm matrix (ADM) in six ratios were prepared by solvent evaporation technique and freeze-drying method, respectively. The composite materials were characterized by water contact angle measurement, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), water absorption and HaCat cells compatibility. The SEM result showed that CS/ADM three-dimensional (3D) micro-porous structures were successfully produced. The water absorption value of all scaffolds was over 18 times of its initial weight, which is high enough for skin regeneration scaffold, but there were no significant differences of water absorption ratio between deionized water and PBS solution for same scaffold (P > 0.05). HaCat cells were distributed uniformly on the surfaces of membrane 4-6, and an almost confluent monolayer was formed on membrane 6 on the fifth day, whereas cells maintained round and spherical in shape on the surface of membrane 1. The results showed that the cell compatibility of pure CS membrane needed to be improved, and addition of ADM realized this purpose. The results of compatibility of HaCat cells on scaffolds showed that the cell proliferated well on the scaffolds 3 and 4. In our study, the cell’s attachment and growth on the composite membranes was mainly determined by the content of the membrane, whereas the cell’s attachment and growth in the scaffolds was determined by both the content and structure of the scaffolds.

With Chinese enterprises’ increased overseas M & A cases, Chinese are facing the challenges from culture. This paper studies national cultural distance and enterprise culture distance, and measure relevant distance for 16 Chinese M & A cases.
