Extended Precise Large Deviations of Random Sums in the Presence of END Structure and Consistent Variation
Shijie Wang,Wensheng Wang
Journal of Applied Mathematics , 2012, DOI: 10.1155/2012/436531
Abstract: The study of precise large deviations of random sums is an important topic in insurance and finance. In this paper, extended precise large deviations of random sums in the presence of END structure and consistent variation are investigated. The obtained results extend those of Chen and Zhang (2007) and Chen et al. (2011). As an application, precise large deviations of the prospective- loss process of a quasirenewal model are considered.
Geometric Characterization of Strictly Positive Real Regions and its Applications
Long Wang,Wensheng Yu
Mathematics , 2002,
Abstract: Strict positive realness (SPR) is an important concept in absolute stability theory, adaptive control, system identification, etc. This paper characterizes the strictly positive real regions in coefficient space and presents a robust design method for SPR transfer functions. We first introduce the concepts of SPR regions and weak SPR regions and show that the SPR region associated with a fixed polynomial is unbounded, whereas the weak SPR region is bounded. We then prove that the intersection of several weak SPR regions associated with different polynomials can not be a single point. Furthermore, we show how to construct a point in the SPR region from a point in the weak SPR region. Based on these theoretical development, we propose an algorithm for robust design of SPR transfer functions. This algorithm works well for both low order and high order polynomial families. Illustrative examples are provided to show the effectiveness of this algorithm.
Robust SPR Synthesis for Low-Order Polynomial Segments and Interval Polynomials
Long Wang,Wensheng Yu
Mathematics , 2002,
Abstract: We prove that, for low-order (n < 5) stable polynomial segments or interval polynomials, there always exists a fixed polynomial such that their ratio is SPR-invariant, thereby providing a rigorous proof of Anderson's claim on SPR synthesis for the fourth-order stable interval polynomials. Moreover, the relationship between SPR synthesis for low-order polynomial segments and SPR synthesis for low-order interval polynomials is also discussed.
An Introductive Study about CO2 Hydrogenation into Hydrocarbons Using Iron Catalysts  [PDF]
Wensheng Ning, Chunhua Chen, Tianqi Wang, Yangfu Jin, Xiezhen Yang
Advances in Chemical Engineering and Science (ACES) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/aces.2017.71001
Abstract: CO2 hydrogenation reaction was performed on precipitated iron catalysts which were promoted by Si, Zn, K and Cu. The optimum SiO2 content in the catalysts is about 15 wt% relative to Fe2O3 mass. With reaction temperature raised, CO2 conversion is increased continually, but CO and CH4 selectivity only fluctuate in a narrow range which is beneficial to the synthesis of C2+ hydrocarbons. Two kinds of catalyst filling constitution were experimentally compared in order to increase the yield of C5+ hydrocarbons.
Robustness analysis of control systems with disc uncertainties

Zhizhen WANG,Long WANG,Wensheng YU,

控制理论与应用 , 2005,
Abstract: For a class of control systems with disc uncertainties, robust performance analysis is developed. On the strictly positive realness and H_infinity_norm of uncertain systems, from the geometric point of view, two new sufficient and necessary conditions are given. The largest H_infinity_norm bound, containing the coefficients of only stable polynomials and centered at a nominal stable point in the coecient space is found. The results obtained in the paper are tractable and concise, which is illustrated by some numerical examples.

Mathematics , 2002,
Abstract: This paper gives a necessary and sufficient condition for robust D-stability of Polytopic Polynomial Matrices. Edge theorem is extended to multi-input-multi-output case.
Reverse Total Signed Vertex Domination in Graphs  [PDF]
Wensheng Li
Open Journal of Discrete Mathematics (OJDM) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ojdm.2013.31011
Abstract: Let \"\" be a simple graph with vertex set V and edge set E. A function \"\" is said to be a reverse total signed vertex dominating function if for every\"\" , the sum of function values over v and the elements incident to v is less than zero. In this paper, we present some upper bounds of reverse total signed vertex domination number of a graph and the exact values of reverse total signed vertex domination number of circles, paths and stars are given.
Chover-Type Laws of the Iterated Logarithm for Continuous Time Random Walks
Kyo-Shin Hwang,Wensheng Wang
Journal of Applied Mathematics , 2012, DOI: 10.1155/2012/906373
Abstract: A continuous time random walk is a random walk subordinated to a renewal process used in physics to model anomalous diffusion. In this paper, we establish Chover-type laws of the iterated logarithm for continuous time random walks with jumps and waiting times in the domains of attraction of stable laws.

The Methods of Factor Weight’s Determine in the Process of Cluster
Wang Dinglei,Li Jianyong,Xu Wensheng
TELKOMNIKA : Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering , 2012, DOI: 10.11591/telkomnika.v10i5.1344
Abstract: The goal of product design is to meet the anticipated design goal. The process of product’s modularization should accommodate the multi-design objective. The rules and the its factor weight are determined impersonally by the method of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) for the different goal. There are various relationships between the parts, such as continuity, noncontinuity, and simply relationship. The different calculated methods are studied base on the different character between the parts’ interaction values, and the objectivity and accuracy have been improved.
