Research on Enterprise Internationalization Strategy Based on Path Dependence Theory: Literature Review and Future Prospect  [PDF]

Abstract: Although there are many kinds of literature on the internationalization of enterprises and strategic path dependence research were reviewed, there are no scholars on the path dependence theory perspective of the enterprise international strategy research specifically reviewed. In this paper, the literature review method is used to review the literature on the international strategic path of enterprises. First of all, the focus of combing the relevant literature involved in the concept, characteristics, the origin and development of the theory. Then, this paper introduces some scholars’ related discussions on the internationalization path dependence of enterprises. Finally, on the basis of these, the future direction of the research on the path dependence of the internationalization of enterprises is put forward from the aspects of cognitive perspective, dynamic capability theory and theoretical framework.

Abstract: The current classified researches on the modern service industries are mainly based on the state statistical standards and for the practical consideration. However, these researches which based on qualitative analysis and experience are not enough for the further study of the industrial development and internal structure relationship of the modern service industries. By further definiting the connotation and characteristics of the modern service industries, this paper selects the quantitative indexes reflecting the development of the modern service industries and adopts cluster analysis to make a quantitative research on the classification of the modern service industries from the position of the academic research and the perspective of the development of the industry internal structure, hoping to lay some foundation for the further theoretical studies of modern service industries.

Interfacial Actions and Adherence of an Interpenetrating Polymer Network Thin Film on Aluminum Substrate  [PDF]

Abstract: The interpenetrating polymer networks (IPN) thin film with the –C=O group in one network and the terminal –N=C=O group in another network on an aluminum substrate to reinforce the adherence between IPN and aluminum through interfacial reactions, were obtained by dip-pulling the pretreated aluminum substrate into the viscous-controlled IPN precursors and by the following thinning treatment to the IPN film to a suitable thickness. The interfacial actions and the adhesion strengths of the IPN on the pretreated aluminum substrate were investigated by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and strain-stress(?-?) measurements. The XPS and FTIR detection results indicated that the elements’ contents of N, O, and Al varied from the depths of IPN. The in-terfacial reaction occurred between the –N=C=O group of IPN and the AlO(OH) of pretreated aluminum. The in-creased force constant for –C=O double bond and the lower frequency shift of –C=O stretching vibration absorption peak both verified the formation of hydrogen bond between the –OH group in AlO(OH) and the –C=O group in IPN. The adherence detections indicated that the larger amount of –N=C=O group in the IPN, the higher shear strengths between the IPN thin film and the aluminum substrate.

Abstract: Lipid peroxidation mediated by oxygen radical is one of the main mechanisms underlying secondary brain injury. Among all vitamin E compounds, α-tocopherol shows the most prominent antioxidative effects. It plays an important role in cell aging and injury. However, there has been no report regarding the effects of α-tocopherol on changes in brain tissue morphology after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), cerebral edema, or the expression of Bax and Bcl-2 proteins. We use SD rats to carry out the related studies; based on the atlas of SD rats, the caudate nucleus was positioned using a stereotaxic apparatus, and 50 μl autologous tail artery blood was injected to caudate nucleus in the ICH and α-tocopherol groups to establish ICH model. Rats in the sham surgery group received the same volume of saline in the caudate nucleus. Rats in the α-tocopherol group received intraperitoneal injections of α-tocopherol at 600 mg/kg every day. Rats in the ICH group and sham surgery group received the same amount of saline at the same times as those in the α-tocopherol group. Abstract: In this paper, the content of water glass before and after adding modifying agent was measured by Trimethylsilyl-gas-chromatography. The experimental results showed that different modulus of water glass could generate different content of mono-silicate acid and oligomeric silicate acid in water glass. After a period of storage, different modulus of water glass led to decrease of silicate content at different levels. Because higher content of Na2O in water glass tended to incur the alkaline polymerization, the occurrence of depolymerization of silicate species would lead to an increase of oligomeric silicate species, resulting in a drawback of silicate species content after a period of storage. And contrary to that, lower content of Na2O in water glass tended to incur the acidic polymerization. When the modifying agent was added to the newly made water glass, the amount of mono-silicate acid and oligomeric silicate acid also decreased. In modified water glass, the change of each silicate acid species was less than that in unmodified water glass. These results showed that the modifying agent retarded the aging of water glass. It had remarkable significance on the theory and practical application of water glass chemistry.
Graphical deployment strategies in radar sensor networks (RSN) for target detection

Abstract: Nodes deployment is a major challenge to a successful implementation of radar sensor network (RSN). The goal of the deployment is to ensure that the target can achieve expected detection performance with high-energy efficiency. In this article, two deployment strategies, named Hexagonal Deployment Strategy (HDS) and Diamond Deployment Strategy (DDS), are proposed to solve this problem. Each Radar Sensor (RS), separately, obtains probability of target detection depending on the position of RS according to the deployment strategies. To appraise these two deployment strategies, two decision fusion rules are derived over pass-loss fading channel in multi-hop RSN. We combine these two decision fusion rules with unfixed local detection performance. Simulations results show that given a finite number of RSs, our proposed strategies are far superior to Random Deployment Strategy in terms of detection probability and energy consumption to satisfy detection and false alarm requirements. The DDS achieves higher probability of detection and consumption fewer energy than HDS, no matter in decision fusion rules with Binary Transmission (BT) or without Binary Transmission (NBT). The BT fusion rules performs better than NBT and the number of RS needed for expected detection performance is not the more the better.

Abstract: Data mining over multiple data sources has become an important practical problem with applications in different areas. Although the data sources are willing to mine the union of their data, they don’t want to reveal any sensitive and private information to other sources due to competition or legal concerns. In this paper, we consider two scenarios where data are vertically or horizontally partitioned over more than two parties. We focus on the classification problem, and present novel privacy preserving decision tree learning methods. Theoretical analysis and experiment results show that these methods can provide good capability of privacy preserving, accuracy and efficiency.

Abstract:

With the development of product development technology and the rapid rise of online retailing, the market competition becomes increasingly fierce. Based on consumer utility function, this article established a two-stage dynamic pricing model and discussed pricing strategies under consumer behavior and market competition. Findings indicate that product quality difference and consumer valuation decreasing coefficient determine the order of the consumer purchase decisions. The firm who provides lower-quality products suffered more loss than the firm who provides high-quality products.
