Generalized Alternating-Direction Implicit Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method in Curvilinear Coordinate System  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, a novel approach is introduced towards an efficient Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) algorithm by incorporating the Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) technique to the Nonorthogonal FDTD (NFDTD) method. This scheme can be regarded as an extension of the conventional ADI-FDTD scheme into a generalized curvilinear coordinate system. The improvement on accuracy and the numerical efficiency of the ADI-NFDTD over the conventional nonorthogonal and the ADI-FDTD algorithms is carried out by numerical experiments. The application in the modelling of the Electromagnetic Bandgap (EBG) structure has further demonstrated the advantage of the proposed method.

Abstract: Based on the statistics analysis of cooperation innovation articles, the paper analyses the distributing characteristics of cooperation innovation research papers. The distribution, structure and evolution of cooperation innovation research are studied through the social network and co-word method, combined with the information visualization technology. This study is based on the papers in the SSCI database during 2000-2014. The analysis and statistics of papers reveal distribution characteristics of the subject, time, institutions, countries and areas. The statistics shows that the research perspective of cooperation innovation from business and economics. The time distribution presents that research of cooperation innovation attracts enormous attention and the research achievement is increasing. From the distribution of organizations, countries and areas, North America and Europe countries maintain the leading position in this research field. But institutions and universities of China and other Asian countries or areas are witnessed their outstanding achievements in cooperation innovation research. Combining the co-word network analysis method, the paper studies the structure and content of cooperation innovation knowledge network in five stages and makes the net spectrum, visually showing the hot spots at various periods. The top highly cited papers in all five stages are reviewed simultaneously; their research hot spots and evolution process are concluded. The study shows 11 subjects including strategic alliances, social networks, R&D cooperation, R&D, technology transfer, alliances, knowledge management, social capital, entrepreneurship, trust, biotechnology are always the central issues in last 15 years. The focus of research is from the relationship between alliance and technology innovation to networking and knowledge innovation and then to open innovation.

Abstract: Nowadays, the development of digital technology profoundly influences people’s consumption patterns around the world. And the progress of cultural creative industry has already brought considerable profits to many countries. So how to develop cultural creative industry with proper policy of science and technology has become a highly focused issue in many countries. This paper focuses on the 3-D Puppet Play which launched by the Taiwan PILI international corporation and tries to explore appropriate ways to make good use of the collaboration between industry-government-academy in order to achieve the value of creative industry. Furthermore, by using this example, the process of tools selection and roles transition of the government in the cooperation, and the theory framework will also be discussed. And all these findings will be a great contribution to the future cross-border cooperation and help to make proper policy of science and technology for cultural creative industry.

Abstract: Based on the current status and trends of S&T (science and technology) policy communication, this paper establishes the concept of policy visualization and describes the main applicability of visual policy. Next, we study the procedural requirements of S&T policy visualization on four aspects: subject selection, content analysis and information processing, policy graphic designation, media promotion. By this study, we recognize that the visualization of China’s S&T policy has some problems, such as, the difficulty in the definition of the authority of policy graphics, in homogeneity and the lack of dynamics in the effect of graphic policy and so on. Furthermore, the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the development of S&T policy visualization according to the existing problems.
Research on the Network Structure and Evolution of Spatial Distribution of Universities’ Cross-Regional Technology Transfer  [PDF]

Abstract: Universities are important components of national innovation systems. Their cross-regional technology transfer is of great importance for narrowing regional technology gaps and realizing collaborative innovation. Based on 2007-2016 patent assignment data of Chinese university, this paper investigates the network structure and evolution law of spatial distribution of universities’ cross-regional technology transfer through the social network analysis and GIS spatial analysis. Results show that: (1) Areas with abundant education resources have advantages at technology export, while economically developed areas have become the main target for technology import. In China, the development of technology export and import is generally imbalanced within a province; (2) In the evolution process of technology transfer structure, the dyadic relationship usually turn from a “strong-weak” relationship to a “strong-strong” one, and there exists a positive correlation between the equalization level of the nodes in the structure and the transfer level of universities’ technology; (3) The evolution of the spatial distribution of universities’ technology transfer demonstrates a trend of diffusion from core areas located on the south-east coast to inland areas. Provinces in the core areas can significantly promote the technology transfer level of surrounding provinces, and an obvious geographic feature is shown in the universities’ technology transfer between different areas.

Abstract: Intellectual property right transaction is the key link of the successful transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and it plays an important role in the process of promoting the integration of S&T and economy. In order to break the gap between S&T and the economy, the state vigorously advocating the construction of comprehensive service platform for intellectual property rights is based on the whole process of transformation of scientific and technological achievements, but the current real sense of the whole support platform is numbered. Under the guidance of the innovation value chain theory, this paper expounds the connotation and essential characteristics of the one-stop and full-support platform of intellectual property transaction, and summarizes the five-stage model of intellectual property transactions and the basic service requirements during the whole process of intellectual property transactions, then builds the service system of the one-stop and full-support mode based on the overall process of intellectual property transaction and analyzes the unique advantages of the mode. Finally, the paper constructs the internal and external support system so as to improve the construction and development of one-stop and full-support platform mode.

Abstract: Cooperative innovation of heterogeneous population is more and more important in regional innovation ecosystem, and cross-border cooperation has become one of the effective ways to break through the predicament of ecological niche development. However, the existence of opportunistic behavior will restrain the cooperation motivation among the main communities and threaten the stability of the ecosystem population cooperation network. In order to avoid possible speculation, participants tend to make commitments beforehand. However, how can the commitment effectively avoid partner speculation so as to improve cooperation performance? In this paper, we will study the community game strategy of main body in innovation under multivariate uncertainty, and analyze the impact of commitment on collaborative innovation action.

Abstract:
The realization path and mode selection issues for the duality innovation of the scientific small and medium enterprises (SMEs) haven’t obtained a good settlement in China. With the questionnaire investigation and layered regression analysis for 292 scientific SMEs, this paper carried out researches on the realization path and mode selection for the duality innovation for scientific SMEs. The results show that relying purely on the interior path and correspondent paths to realize the duality innovation has no significant lifting functions for the enterprises’ performance, relying purely on the exterior paths and correspondent modes to realize the duality innovation will pose harms to the enterprises’ performance, and by taking the interactive paths between the interior path and exterior path to realize the duality innovation has significant lifting functions for the enterprises’ performance. The duality innovation mode with the interior development innovation and the exterior exploration innovation under this path is lifting the enterprises’ performance to the greatest extent.

Abstract:
Nowadays, as the development of knowledge economy and innovation, it is an inevitable trend to add the knowledge-based GDP into the national economy accounting system. The knowledge-based GDP is made of the intellectual property products, innovative capital, marketing assets and human capital. This paper suggests that the knowledge-based GDP should be included in the scope of national accounts, which will bring about the total expansion and great improvement of China’s GDP accounting and promote the development of China’s knowledge-intensive industries. At the same time, it will also become an important basis for the government’s macro management and micro decision-making.
