The Political Ritual, the Party and the People: A Perspective on Sinicization of Marxism in the New Democratic Revolution  [PDF]

Abstract: Marxism was not only a set of philosophical theory but also the ideology of the Party. The Sinicization of Marxism was a process in which the abstract principles of Marxism became the guiding ideology of the CPC under the specific practical environment of China. The Sinicization of Marxism was based on the combination of Marxism and the Party, the Chinese people, as well as that of Marxism and the revolutionary practice in China. In this process, political ritual as a part of the Party’s ideology played an important role. And the practical experience of political ritual in the period of the new democratic revolution could give some inspiration to current and future ideological work.
Study on the Vehicle Increase Prediction Model on Chinese Highways

Abstract: The vehicle increase prediction was discussed in the article. Starting from the actual situation and the characters of vehicle increase on the highways, various factors such as the large base of vehicle amount, the increase of average income, rural vehicle amount, the enhancement of comprehensive vehicle amount and the increase phenomena of vehicle purchase by young people to impact the vehicle increase on highways were considered comprehensively, and the statistical analysis were made aiming at these factors one by one, and the impacts of these factors on the vehicle increase on highways and the concrete impacting modes were discussed, and the vehicle increase model were established and improved. By the statistical software SPSS, the regression analysis of the curve parameter estimation was made to confirm the function form of the concrete curve, and the Mathematica and Matlab were used to confirm the parameters and influences of various factors in the model by a series of data fitting, and the final model were established.

An intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond occurs between the hydroxyl and aldehyde groups.
Services Trade and Labor-Demand Elasticities of Service Sector: Empirical Evidence from China  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper analyses the impact of services trade on the labor-demand elasticities of service sector with the data of China from 1982 to 2009.we find that: 1) First, no matter in the long run or in the short term, China’s services export distinctly impacts on the labor-demand elasticities of service sector. In the long-term influence, the substitution effect is much more powerful than the output effect, however, as to the short period, the output effect is a little stronger than the substitution effect; 2) Second, in the long run, we cannot reject the hypothesis of no relationship between service import openness and the labor-demand elasticities of service sector. Whereas, studying the result of the short term, trade liberalization of services import does affect the service sector labor-demand elasticity weakly.
Portfolio Performance on Agency Mechanism with Capability of Manager  [PDF]

Abstract: By given different capabilities of managers, a novel model of optimal contracting is proposed in agency problems, which adds a new variable denoted by the manager’s ability in delegated portfolio management. Then we compare our results with Dybvig and Farnsworth’s (2010) and find a new effect by appending this variable. The results show that in the first-best situation with log utility, the optimal contract is in accord with the result of Dybvig and Farnsworth’s (2010). In the second-best situation, the optimal contract is a proportional sharing rule plus a bonus. However, the bonus is associated with variables including private signals and the manager’s ability. In the third-best situation, the manager’s share is no longer a constant; and the manager’s fee is no longer a linear combination of the returns, which depends on the signal and the manager’s ability. So manager’s ability is an important variable for the market return. We can also find that these institutional features are more similar to practice than other existing agency models and consistent with the reality of the situation. The numerical results also verify the solutions.

Abstract: The development of the information technology has brought threats to human society when it has influenced seriously the global politics, economics and military etc. But among the security of information system, buffer overrun vulnerability is undoubtedly one of the most important and common vulnerabilities. This paper describes a new technology, named program slicing, to detect the buffer overflow leak in security-critical C code. First, we use slicing technology to analyze the variables which may be with vulnerability and extract the expressions which will bring memory overflow. Secondly, we utilize debug technology to get the size of memory applied by the variable and the size of memory used for these code segments (the slicing result) further. Therefore we can judge whether it will overflow according to the analysis above. According to the unique excellence of program slicing performing in the large-scale program’s debugging, the method to detect buffer overrun vulnerability described in this paper will reduce the workload greatly and locate the code sentences affected by corresponding variable set quickly, particularly including the potential vulnerability caused by parameter dependence among the subroutines.
Synergistic Reinforcement of Phenol-Formaldehyde Resin Composites by Poly(Hexanedithiol)/Graphene Oxide  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, the preparation of graphene oxide was achieved by Hummers method and the surface modification was achieved by poly(hexaneditiol), which was a synthetic thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer. The c-PHDT/GO/PF composites were prepared by blending, rolling and compression molding techniques. Then, the as-prepared samples were characterized by FTIR, Raman, XRD, TGA and POM to obtain information on their structures and properties. After that, the effects of c-PHDT/GO content on the mechanical properties, friction performance and dynamic mechanical performance of c-PHDT/GO/PF composites were studied by Mechanical and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) methods. Also, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) was used for the characterization of wear and fracture surface morphology. The results revealed that the reinforcing effect of c-PHDT/GO was significant as a considerable enhancement on the mechanical performance of c-PHDT/GO/PF composite as compared to pure phenol-formaldehyde composites was observed: the impact strength, bending modulus and bending strength increased from 1.63 kJ/m2, 8.61 GPa and 41.55 MPa to 2.31 kJ/m2, 10.16 GPa and 54.40 MPa respectively at the c-PHDT/GO content = 0.75%. Moreover, the initial storage modulus increased by 28.4%, while the wear mass loss decreased by 17.8%. More importantly, the reinforcement by c-PHDT/GO was further enhanced as compared to GO/PF and p-PHDT/GO/PF composites, the impact strength of c-PHDT/GO/PF composite increased by 27.6% and 11.1%, the bending strength increased by 11.8% and 7.6%, the initial storage modulus increased by 16.2% and 4.2% and the mass loss due to wear decreased by 12.7% and 8.8%, respectively. Based on these results, we can conclude that the surface modification of GO by poly(hexanedithiol), which includes synergistic effect by c-PHDT and GO, improves the interfacial adhesion between GO and the resin matrix, thus reinforcing the composites.

Abstract: A self-designed computer-aided solidification simulation system for large-size ingots was employed to determine the eutectic coupled-zone of Al-(7-14 wt%) Si alloys at low freezing rate with a temperature gradient of liquid on solidification interface tower than 20 K cm~(-1). Experimental parameters for the formation of a fully eutectic microstructure in a dia.38×70 mm ingot have been successfully obtained under various conditions for Al-(11.3 -13.0 wt%) Si alloys.Eutectic coupled growth charactersitics under this condition was also discussed.

Abstract: An adaptive knowledge system needs massive knowledge. But massive knowledge can handicap the speed of searching and reasoning. Good structure can considerably enhance the expressive power and efficiency of a knowledge system. Inspired by the structure of human memory and data warehouse, object-oriented warehouse architecture of knowledge based on the 3-World model was advanced after exploring the essence of knowledge and cognition. Great amount of conceptual and nonconceptual knowledge can be well handled with this architecture. System using the architecture can be more adaptable with different tasks.
