Industrial Integration in Changchun and Jilin City Based on the Similar Coefficients of Industrial Structure  [PDF]

Abstract:

This paper primarily calculates the similar coefficients of the industrial structure in Changchun and Jilin City, the results show that the similarity of the three industries in the two cities is high, but the similarity of the subdivided manufacture industries is low. We also find evidence that the conditions for the industrial integration of the two cities are improved. The paper also explores the reasons for the current situation of the industrial integration in Changchun and Jilin city, then propose the measures to develop the industrial integration.

Abstract: With the increase of people’s income and the various demands for leisure, the preference of Chinese travelers has gradually shifted from traditional sightseeing to more distinctive forms of tourism. Industrial tourism, as one of the forms which curious tourists are fond of, has been rapidly developed throughout the country. Cities are the main carriers of industrialization, also are the important places for Industrial tourism. This paper selects Shanghai and Huangshi as sample cities for research, comparing the two cities and showing the difference between the development stages, development types and development models of industrial tourism in the two cities.
The Influence of SA8000 Standard on the Export Trade of China

Abstract: Following ISO9000 and ISO14000, SA8000 standard is now attracting international attention and it exerts influence on the export trade of China, particularly on the export trade of labor-intensive products. Because Chinese enterprises lack understanding of this standard and the importance attached to this standard in the government’s macro-administration is not sufficient, at this stage, only a small number of Chinese enterprises have passed the certification of SA8000. But in order to gain a trade environment of fair competition and at the same time to raise the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises, the government of China and Chinese enterprises shall treat this standard with active attitude and consider it to be the impetus to help enterprises to regulate their management, to improve their management levels and to become favorable enterprises.
Petrology Characters of Conglomerates in Baikouquan Formation, Mahu Sag, Junggar Basin  [PDF]

Abstract: Mahu Sag, one of the most oil and gas bearing sags in Junggar basin, is in the northwestern margin of the basin. On gentle slope region of the sag, a serial of large scale coarse fan delta deposits were developed in Triassic Baikouquan Formation. In order to understand the petrology characters of conglomerates in Baikouquan Formation, based on lots of cores, grain size analysis, normal thin sections, casting thin sections, scanning electron photomicrographs, mineral composition identifications, clay mineral and bulk composition identifications of X-ray diffraction, were comparatively studied for Xiazijie and Huangyangquan fan-delta in Mahu Sag. Mineral composition of conglomerates is main tuff, while eurite, dacite, rhyolite, andesite and granite are common. However, more tuff and granite, less eurite and andesite in Xiazijie fan-delta, there is no rhyolite in Huangyangquan fan-delta. Kaolinization and chloritization of conglomerates are ubiquitous in the formation. The content of chlorite and kaolinite is higher in Xiazijie fan-delta, with lower illite-smectite and illite. There is less feldspar of clastic and more calcite of cement in Xiazijie fan-delta.

Abstract: To improve the monitoring precision of lake chlorophyll a (Chl-a), this paper presents a fusion method based on Choquet Fuzzy Integral (CFI) to estimate the Chl-a concentration. A group of BPNN models are designed. The output of multiple BPNN model is fused by the CFI. Meanwhile, to resolve the over-fitting problem caused by a small number of training sets, we design an algorithm that fully considers neighbor sampling information. A classification experiment of the Chl-a concentration of the Taihu Lake is conducted. The result shows that, the proposed approach is superior to the classification using a single neural network classifier, and the CFI fusion method has higher identification accuracy.
High frequency wheat regeneration from leaf tissue explants of regenerated plantlets  [PDF]

Abstract: The specificities of tissue culture of wheat greatly limit the use of chloroplast transformation technologies in this crop. One limitation in wheat tissue culture is that it is difficult to regenerate plantlets from leaf tissue explants of regenerated plantlets, resulting in difficulty in obtaining homoplastic plants via multiple rounds of antibiotic selection of chloroplast transformants. Thus, a repeated in vitro regeneration system from leaf tissues was studied in this research. Our results showed that 2 mm leaf basal segments of the 4 cm high leaves from regenerated plantlets can give the best callus induction at present study. The best callus induction medium was Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium supplemented with 2 mg/L 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and 1 mg/L naphthalenacetic acid, which gave a callus induction rate of up to 87.2%. The optimal differentiation medium was MS basal medium supplemented with 10 mg/L silver nitrate and 1 mg/L 2,3,5-triiodobenzoic acid, which gave a regeneration rate up to 33.7% for the wheat lines tested. This is the first report showing that leaf basal segments of in vitro regenerated plantlets can be used for regeneration of wheat. The establishment of a repetitive regeneration system should pave the way for the development of chloroplast transformation and the plant regeneration systems starting from leaf material of in vitro regenerated wheat and other cereal crops.

Abstract: Isothiocyanates (ITCs) are naturally occurring small molecules that are generated by the enzymic hydrolysis of glucosinolate in cruciferous vegetables. Numerous studies showed that ITCs inhibit the growth of tumors by the mechanisms including inducing cell cycle arrest, promoting apoptosis and producing reactive oxygen species in vitro and in vivo. Recent studies showed that ITCs also inhibit metastasis of cancer cells, induce endoplasmic reticulum stress and autophagy. This review summarizes the antitumor mechanisms of ITCs.

Abstract: The Tai and Chao Lake basins are currently facing a serious water pollution crisis associated with the absence of an effective environmental governance system. The water pollution and the water governance system of the two basins will be compared. The reasons for water pollution in both basins are similar, namely the weak current water environmental governance system cannot deal with the consequences of the rapidly growing economy. China’s water governance system is a complicated combination of basin management with both departmental management and regional management. There is an absence of legal support and sound coordination mechanisms, resulting in fragmented management practices in the existing water environmental governance system. A comparison is made for the Tai and Chao Lake basins and Canada, France, the United Kingdom and the United States. Based on China’s present central-local governance structure and departmental system, an integrated reform of basin level and water environmental governance in China should learn from international experiences. The reforms could consist of improved governance structures, rebuilding authoritative and powerful agencies for basin management, strengthening the organizational structure of the basin administrations, improving legislation and regulatory systems for basin management and enhancing public participation mechanisms.

Union Resolution Performance of Frequency Modulation Parameter Based on RWT for LFM Signals  [PDF]

Abstract: Union resolution performance of FM (frequency modulation) parameter based on Radon-Wigner transform (RWT) for multi-component LFM (linear frequency modulation) signals is studied. Firstly, the RWT output expression is offered, and the independent resolution performances of initial frequency and chirp rate are analyzed. Secondly, the RWT output approximate analytic expression is given based on quadratic Taylor's series expansion, and the contour property is analyzed. Contour can be used to picture the union resolution performance of FM parameter, and 2-D resolution performance is studied based on approximate analytic expression, and the union resolution expression of FM parameter and resolution ellipse are offered. The simulation results validate the union resolution expression, and show that the union resolution can improve the resolution performance of multi-component LFM signals, contrasted with absolute resolution performance. The paper can help the study of LFM parameter estimation and resolution performance.
