Subwavelength Array of Planar Triangle Monopoles with Cross Slots Based on Far-Field Time Reversal

Abstract: A subwavelength array of planar triangle monopole antennas is proposed and discussed in this paper. Each element of the array is etched with many cross slots which bring no effects to the element's performances of voltage standing wave ratio and far-field radiation patterns. An important property of this antenna is that if multiple such planar antennas are placed face to face, the proposed array can perform time-reversal far-field focusing with a super-resolution as small as one twentieth of a wavelength. The proposed subwavelength array is easy to design and convenient for integration.

Abstract: Exploitation geophysics is a type of geophysical techniques with its application in exploitation phase of the oil field. By this technique the co-operation between the Key Laboratory of Petroleum Resources Research, Institute of Geology and Geophysics and Liaohe Oilfield has achieved preliminary results. It shows that oilfield exploitation can get good results in this way. So further co -operation between geophysicists and oilfield experts has a good future in exploitation of oilfield. We hope it will bring a new bright future for oilfield exploitation and offer a new techniques guarantee in finding new oil and gas resources for our country.

Abstract: Based on the super-resolution property of time reversal electromagnetic wave far-field focusing,a subwavelength antenna array is proposed.The elements of the array are etched into those that have microstructures,placed at an interval ofλ/20 apart from one another,and have independent channels.Compared with the subwavelength antenna arrays,each of which is composed of other microstructure elements,the array,whose radiation property of individual antennae is similar to others,shows better super-resolution characteristic of far-field focusing.Therefore,an effective wireless terminal antenna array is provided for the high-speed and highquality multiple-antenna communication using the time reversal technology.

Abstract: Time-reversed system with a sub-wavelength structure is one of the necessary conditions for the system to show spatial super-resolution characteristics. In the near field zone, Coulomb field predominates the transmission of signals. The resolution limit of Coulomb field is characterized only by the sizes and the spatial distribution of scatterers, which is useful for obtaining the super-resolution beyond the diffraction limit.

Abstract: Time-reversed electromagnetic wave has the property of super-resolution in some special far-field circumstances. A model with the property of super-resolution was constructed and simulated by time-reversal technique. By analyzing the simulation results, we can find the main reason for realization of property of super-resolution. The research provides support for the design of compact multi-antenna wireless communication system.

Abstract: In Kalman filtering applications to combination satellite navigation the observation values including outliers are important effect on optimal filtering.The outliers affect the position filtering accuracy and make estimation inaccurate. In this paper,an outlier decision based on adaptive robust Kalman filtering is presented,which can keep orthogonal properties of innovation sequence.Simulation results show that the modified algorithms are effectively resistant to outliers in sampling date.

Abstract: The main influential factors on focusing property of time-reversed electromagnetic wave come from time reversal mirror (TRM). The various influential factors are analyzed by using electromagnetic simulation tools. Then method of improving the focusing property of time-reversed electromagnetic wave is proposed. Abstract: Time reversal electromagnetics is a new branch of science. The critical factor for the practical implementation of time reversal technique is to obtain time reversed signal efficiently. In this paper, based on the principle of time lens, a method of obtaining time-reversed microwave signal is studied. First, according to the principle of time lens, conditions for realizing time-reversed waveform are derived. The process for obtaining time reversed signals is simulated numerically. Then two chirp electromagnetic bang gap (CEBG) structures are fabricated to construct dispersion channels. And a time reversed signal on a 1.5 ns time scale is obtained in experiment. Due to the difference between CEBG and ideal dispersion channel, there exists a distortion in the experiment results, for whitch the reasons are analyzed.

Abstract: Based on the equivalent dielectric model of the periodic metal wire array, the analytical expression of time reversal EM wave in the metal wire array is derived using transmission line method. Then, the influence of metal wire radius, metal wire array period and the amount of layers on time reversal EM wave focusing property is discussed within the equivalent dielectric model. This structure can be used to focus time reversal EM wave in the far field, at the same time, it provides an engineering reference for time reversal technique.
