An Empirical Study of the Performance of University Teachers Based on Organizational Commitment, Job Stress, Mental Health and Achievement Motivation
Cai-feng WANG
Canadian Social Science , 2010,
Abstract: This paper defines and analyzes the concept of the performance of university teachers and identifies the four variables of organizational commitment, job stress, mental health and achievement motivation. Thus, this paper puts forward the hypothesis that the four variables-organizational commitment, job stress, mental health, and achievement motivation play a part in teachers’ job performance. Finally the conceptual model of the job performance of teachers is established based on the above four variables. In research based on interviews, a survey was conducted among some teachers in colleges and universities in Xi'an. Through SEM analysis, the results show that the sustained commitment has a negative effect on work performance while emotional commitment has a positive effect on work performance. Work stress has a positive effect on work performance but mental health has a negative effect on work performance, which is not consistent with the hypothesis. Studies also find that emotion commitment is the intermediary variable of the sustained commitment to job performance. Work pressure is the intermediary variable of work pressure affecting job performance whereas there is a positive correlation between achievement motivation and mental health. Keywords: organizational commitment; work pressure; mental health; work /job performance
Dichlorido{N-[1-(2-pyridyl)ethylidene]ethane-1,2-diamine}copper(II)
Qiang Wang,Cai-Feng Bi,Da-Qi Wang,Yu-Hua Fan
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2009, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536809010149
Abstract: The title complex, [CuCl2(C9H13N3)], is mononuclear and contains a five-coordinate CuII atom. The geometry of the CuII atom can be described as tetragonal-pyramidal derived from the calculation of the value τ = 0.102. The three N atoms of the pyridine and ethane-1,2-diamine ligands and one Cl atom belong to the basal plane and the other Cl atom represents the axial position of the pyramid. The Cu atom is displaced by 0.2599 (2) from the basal plane towards the axial Cl atom. In the crystal, molecules are linked into chains by intermolecular N—H...Cl and C—H...Cl hydrogen bonds.
Tetra-μ-acetato-κ8O:O′-bis{[2-(2-furyl)-1-(2-furylmethyl)-1H-benzimidazole-κN3]copper(II)}
Qiang Wang,Cai-Feng Bi,Da-Qi Wang,Yu-Hua Fan
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2009, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536809025276
Abstract: The title complex, [Cu2(CH3COO)4(C16H12N2O2)2], forms a dimer of the paddle-wheel type located on a crystallographic inversion centre. The two CuII atoms [Cu...Cu = 2.7254 (11) ] are bridged by four acetate anions. The geometry of the polyhedron around the metal centre can be described as tetragonal-pyramidal derived from the calculation of the value τ = 0.0018. The apical positions of the tetragonal-pyramidal copper coordination polyhedra are occupied by the N atoms of 2-(2-furyl)-1-(2-furylmethyl)-1H-benzimidazole ligands. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked into a chain by intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds parallel to [010]. Two furan rings are disordered over two positions in ratios of 0.55:0.45 and 0.69:0.31.
1-[(Z)-(5-Methyl-2-pyridyl)iminiomethyl]-2-naphtholate
Xin-Yu Liu,Yu-Hua Fan,Qiang Wang,Cai-Feng Bi
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2010, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536810000346
Abstract: In the zwitterionic title compound, C17H14N2O, the dihedral angle between the naphthalene and pyridine ring systems is 3.56 (9)° and an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H...O interactions.
Poly[tris(μ3-5-aminoisophthalato)diaquadicerium(III)]
Hui-Jie Ma,Yu-Hua Fan,Qiang Wang,Cai-Feng Bi
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2008, DOI: 10.1107/s160053680803033x
Abstract: In the title complex, [Ce2(C8H5NO4)3(H2O)2]n, each Ce ion is in nine-coordinated environment. Eight O atoms from six ligands participate in coordination, in addition to one O atom from a water molecule. Both carboxylate groups from the ligands chelate the Ce atoms, forming two four-membered rings. The 5-aminoisophthalate ligands also bridge the Ce centers, forming a two-dimensional network, and O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds complete the structure.
(E)-3-(2-Hydroxy-5-methylphenylimino)indolin-2-one
Peng-Fei Zhang,Cai-Feng Bi,Qiang Wang,Jian Zuo
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2011, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536811034015
Abstract: In the title compound, C15H12N2O2, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 83.55 (11)° In the crystal, the molecules are linked by O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen bonds.
2-Methoxy-6-[(Z)-[(5-methyl-2-pyridyl)iminomethyl]phenol
Xin-Yu Liu,Yu-Hua Fan,Cai-Feng Bi,Qiang Wang
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2009, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536809031699
Abstract: The title compound, C14H14N2O2, was obtained by a condensation reaction between o-vanillin and 5-methylpyridin-2-amine. In the molecule, the dihedral angle between the pyridine and benzene rings is 9.08 (13)°. An intramolecular hydrogen bond involving the imine N atom and the hydroxyl group may influence the conformation of the molecule. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds.
4-[(E)-(2-Methoxyphenyl)iminomethyl]-N,N-dimethylaniline
Shan-Bin Liu,Cai-Feng Bi,Qiang Wang,Jian Zuo
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2010, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536810017228
Abstract: In the title compound, C16H18N2O, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 38.5 (2)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak C—H...N and C—H...O interactions and aromatic π–π stacking [centroid–centroid separations = 3.620 (5) and 3.546 (4) ].
