Smoothness and high energy asymptotics of the spectral shift function in many-body scattering

Abstract: Let H=\Delta+\sum_{#a=2} V_a be a 3-body Hamiltonian, H_a the subsystem Hamiltonians, \Delta the positive Laplacian of the Euclidean metric on X_0=R^n, V_a real-valued. Buslaev and Merkurev have shown that, if the pair potentials decay sufficiently fast, for \phi smooth and compactly supported, the operator \phi(H)-\phi(H_0)-\sum_{#a=2}(\phi(H_a)-\phi(H_0)) is trace class. Hence, one can define a modified spectral shift function \sigma, as a distribution on R, by taking its trace. In this paper we show that if V_a are Schwartz, then \sigma is in fact smooth away from the thresholds, and obtain its high energy asymptotics. In addition, we generalize this result to N-body scattering, N arbitrary.
Significance of serum neopterin level in diagnosis of active pulmonary tuberculosis

Abstract: Objective To investigate the sensitivity and specificity of serum neopterin(Np) level in diagnosis of active pulmonary tuberculosis.Methods Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis,admitted to Xinjiang Chest Hospital from Apr.2009 to May 2010,were consecutively enrolled in present study.Serum neopterin level was determined with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in the next morning of admission.VCG purified protein derivative test(PPD) was concurrently performed.Results Fifty-eight cases with active(group A) and 18 with stable(group S) pulmonary tuberculosis were recruited,and 32 healthy volunteers served as control(group C).The mean Np level was significantly higher in group A(54.14±19.85 nmol/L) than in group S(29.51±8.23 nmol/L) and group C(20.67±9.68 nmol/L,P < 0.01).No statistical difference was found between group S and group C(P > 0.05).Among patients with active pulmonary tuberculosis,the mean Np level increased significantly in cases with the fibro-cavitative pulmonary tuberculosis(77.43±22.13),compared with those cases with invasive(46.07±13.04) and hematogenous disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis(48.48±8.34 nmol/L,P < 0.01),while no statistical difference existed between the latter two.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve showed that the area under curve(AUC) was 0.951 in the cutoff value of 36.73 nmol/L,and the sensitivity and specificity were 86% and 92% for predicting active pulmonary tuberculosis,and it was significantly higher than PPD test(P < 0.01),in which the sensitivity was 52% and specificity was 78%.Conclusions Np level may serve as one of the important adjunctive parameters for early diagnosis of active pulmonary tuberculosis due to its high sensitivity and specificity.
Hyperpolarization activated cation current (If) in cardiac myocytes from pul monary vein sleeves in the canine with atrial fibrillation

Abstract: Objective To investigate the characteristics of ectopic automaticity and cation current (If) of cardiac myocytes from pulmonary vein sleeves (PVs) in canines with atrial fibrillation. Methods The canines (8–10 years old) were subjected to long-term, rapid atrial pacing (RAP) for 10 weeks, which induced the atrial fibrillation model. Disassociation of PVs of canines yielded single cardiac myocytes from a Landengorff column. Action potential, If and hyperpolarisation activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) currents were measured with the patch-clamp technique. Results Compared with the control group, cardiac myocytes from the RAP canine PVs had spontaneous diastolic depolarization, shorter action potential duration, and larger If densities. In the group of RAP cells, the half maximal activation potential (V1/2) was found to be less negative ( 105.5 ± 5.2 mV) compared to control cells ( 87.3 ± 4.9 mV). Current densities of If were increased significantly by β-adrenergic receptor stimulation with isoproterenol and caused an acceleration of current activation. In contrast, If currents in the RAP were reduced by carvedilol, a selective beta-adrenergic receptor. Another important finding is that HCN4-based channels may make a significant contribution to If in PVs cells, but not HCN2. Meanwhile, HCN4 current significantly increases in canine PVs cardiac myocytes with RAP. Conclusions The spontaneous action potential and larger If current were observed in the PVs cardiac myocytes using RAP, which may contribute to more ectopic activity events to trigger and maintain atrial fibrillation.
Adaptive chaotic mutation shuffled frog leaping algorithms

Abstract: This paper deals with the performance of shuffled frog leaping algorithm, mainly proposes a shuffled frog leaping algorithm by adding adaptive chaotic mutation operation in processing of global searching. In order to enhance the ability of searching, the algorithm constructs a chaotic operator using Logistic chaotic sequences. Furthermore, the algorithm adaptively adjusts the mutation scale by its individual fitness and evolution generations. In the simulation experiment, both the accuracy and the convergent speed of the proposed algorithm are improved effectively. Therefore, the proposed algorithm has a good practical performance.
Epidemiological investigation of allergic rhinitis in servicemen of Chinese People’s Armed Police Force stationed at Urumqi

Abstract: Objective To investigate the incidence and clinical features of allergic rhinitis in servicemen of Chinese People’s Armed Police Force stationed at Urumqi,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.Methods Of 2294 soldiers and officers stationed at Urumqi from Jul.to Aug.2010,2194 were enrolled as subjects of present study,and all of them completed the questionnaires.The incidence of allergic rhinitis was assessed by history analysis,skin fast prick and allergen-specific IgE assay.Results Two hundred and three cases were diagnosed as allergic rhinitis,the overall incidence was 9.3%.The incidence of allergic rhinitis was higher in officers(15.9%) than in soldiers(P < 0.05);seeds of Artemisia was the main allergen.Duration of service was positively correlated with the incidence of allergic rhinitis(r=0.8,P < 0.05).The incidence was also correlated with the place the servicemen stationed,showing a high to low tendency from suburbs(15.8%),forested area(7.9%) to urban area(5.7%,P < 0.05).The incidence was higher in servicemen from other regions(9.4%) than in soldiers of local origin(7.2%,P < 0.05),and was higher in Han nationality(10.5%) than in ethnic minorities(2.1%,P < 0.05).Conclusions The incidence of allergic rhinitis in servicemen of Chinese People’s Armed Police Force stationed at Urumqi is 9.3%,and and the incidence varies with the loeality they station.The severity of allergic rhinitis symptom is positively correlated with the duration of service in Urumqi.
Effects of nerve growth factor on the action potential duration and repolariz-ing currents in a rabbit model of myocardial infarction

Abstract: Objectives To investigate the effect of nerve growth factor (NGF) on the action potential and potassium currents of non-infarcted myocardium in the myocardial infarcted rabbit model. Methods Rabbits with occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery were prepared and allowed to recover for eight weeks (healed myocardial infarction, HMI). During ligation surgery of the left coronary artery, a polyethylene tube was placed near the left stellate ganglion in the subcutis of the neck for the purpose of administering NGF 400 U/d for eight weeks (HMI + NGF group). Cardiomyocytes were isolated from regions of the non-infarcted left ventricular wall and the action potentials and ion currents in these cells were recorded using whole-cell patch clamps. Results Compared with HMI and control cardiomyocytes, significant prolongation of APD50 or APD90 (Action potential duration (APD) measured at 50% and 90% of repolarization) in HMI + NGF cardiomyocytes was found. The results showed that the 4-aminopyridine sensitive transient outward potas sium current (Ito), the rapidly activated omponent of delayed rectifier potassium current (IKr), the slowly activated component of delayed rectifier potassium current (IKs), and the L-type calcium current (ICaL) were significantly altered in NGF + HMI cardiomyocytes compared with HMI and control cells. Conclusions Our results suggest that NGF treatment significantly prolongs APD in HMI cardiomyocytes and that a decrease in outward potassium currents and an increase of inward Ca2+ current are likely the underlying mechanism of action.

Abstract: 摘要 目的:研究乌鲁木齐市汉族与哈萨克族大学生上前牙天然牙的色度值,为临床制作仿真修复体提供参考。方法:采用数码相机及计算机色度分析系统采集、分析18~22岁乌鲁木齐市汉族与哈萨克族大学生432颗上前牙天然牙的色度值。结果:乌鲁木齐市18~22岁汉族青年及哈萨克族青年的上前牙色度值均从中切牙向尖牙方向均呈现明度逐渐降低,组间比较均P<0.05。彩度值组间比较均逐渐增大(P<0.05)。中切牙中汉族青年亮度值高于哈萨克族青年,彩度值低于哈萨克族青年(P<0.017)。侧切牙中汉族青年亮度值及彩度值均小于哈萨克族青年(P<0.017)。尖牙中汉族青年的亮度值及彩度值均小于哈萨克族青年(P<0.017)。结论:乌鲁木齐市18~22岁汉族及哈萨克族大学生的上前牙色度值存在差异。本实验所得到的结果,有助于使口腔修复材料的光学特性与天然牙更匹配

Abstract: 首先利用DEA CCR/BCC模型对我国在沪深港证券市场上市的55家物流企业的生产效率和规模效率进行实证比较分析,然后通过相关性分析及多项回归分析研究了规模效率及固定资产规模与生产效率的关系.结果表明:1)大型物流企业相对中小型物流企业而言并不具备显著的效率优势.2)我国物流企业不存在显著的规模效率差异,不应盲目追求资产规模的扩张和重组.3)我国物流企业的纯技术效率大于规模效率对生产效率的影响,物流企业的技术改进比规模扩张更具重要性.4)物流企业生产成本是影响企业生产效率的主要因素,而资产规模和职工工资对生产效率没有显著影响.

Abstract: 为分析我国物流企业生产效率的发展状况,利用DEA CCR模型和Window Analysis技术对我国18家物流企业在2001-2006年间的生产效率进行发展分析.通过分析发现:1)我国物流市场缺乏有效的市场淘汰机制,物流企业生产效率的个体差异显著;2)我国港口经营类企业的平均生产效率高于运输仓储类企业的平均生产效率;3)我国物流企业整体生产效率水平较低,但在所研究的时间内呈稳定且上升的发展状态.
