Impacts of Different Light Intensity on Morphology and Structure of Potamogeton crispus

Abstract: 通过受控试验,研究了4个光照处理(100%、50%、20%、10%的自然光)对菹草(Potamogeton crispus)外部形态与内部结构的影响.结果显示:(1)100%和50%自然光处理对菹草的总生物量影响不显著,20%和10%的自然光显著降低了菹草的总生物量.(2)在生物量分配方面,50%自然光处理的根冠比值显著低于其他3个处理组,表现出菹草对地上部分茎叶生物量的投资较多.(3)在50%自然光条件下,菹草的株高、植株叶片数、顶枝叶片数明显高于其他3个处理组的对应参数,说明适当的遮荫会促进菹草植株的生长;10%自然光下的各参数值均最小(除根/冠比值),表明已较严重地限制了菹草的正常生长.(4)20%和10%自然光的遮光处理增加了菹草的叶片厚度,100%、50%、20%和10%的自然光下分别为0.260、0.297、0.440、 0.306 mm.(5)100%自然光叶片的叶肉细胞没有形成发达通气组织,50%自然光的菹草叶肉细胞开始形成较发达的通气组织,通气组织中间隔分布有单层细胞组成的隔膜,20%和10%自然光的叶片中隔膜细胞破裂,形成了发达的通气组织;20%和10%自然光的叶片通气组织细胞面积显著大于100%和50%自然光处理组,均值分别为0.558 mm2、 0.284 mm2和0.108 mm2、 0.087 mm2.(6)20%自然光处理组根的表皮细胞中可以发现四端尖锐晶体存在,表明植物生长受到一定程度胁迫;50%自然光处理的根通气组织彼此相连,形成大的通气结构,而其它处理组皮层没有形成通气结构.综合上述研究结果表明,50%自然光处理较有利于菹草的生长发育.
Interleukin-10 Genotype Correlated to Deficiency Syndrome in Hepatitis B Cirrhosis

Abstract: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome is an important basis for TCM diagnosis and treatment. As Child-Pugh classification as well as compensation and decompensation phase in liver cirrhosis, it is also an underlying clinical classification. In this paper, we investigated the correlation between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of Interleukin-10 (IL-10) and TCM syndromes in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis (HBC). Samples were obtained from 343 HBC patients in China. Three SNPs of IL-10 (−592A/C, −819C/T, and −1082A/G) were detected with polymerase chain-reaction-ligase detection reaction (PCR-LDR). The result showed the SNP-819C/T was significantly correlated with Deficiency syndrome (=0.031), but none of the 3 loci showed correlation either with Child-Pugh classification and phase in HBC patients. The logistic regression analysis showed that the Excess syndrome was associated with dizzy and spider nevus, and the Deficiency syndrome was associated with dry eyes, aversion to cold, IL-10-819C/T loci, and IL-10-1082A/G loci. The odds ratio (OR) value at IL-10-819C/T was 4.022. The research results suggested that IL-10-819C/T locus (TC plus CC genotype) is probably a risk factor in the occurrence of Deficiency syndrome in HBC patients.
Relationship between gene polymorphisms of interleukin-10 and syndrome types of traditional Chinese medicine in posthepatitis B cirrhosis

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the relationship between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of interleukin-10 (IL-10) and syndrome types of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in posthepatitis B cirrhosis.Methods: The genotypes of IL-10-592 A/C, -819 C/T and -1082 G/A sites were determined by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP), and polymerase chain reaction-ligase detection reaction (PCR-LDR) combined with the sequencing analysis in 226 cases of posthepatitis B cirrhosis. The genotype and allele frequency distribution, and the relationship between the SNPs and TCM syndromes were analyzed.Results: The frequency of allele C at IL-10-819 point in spleen deficiency with overabundance of dampness syndrome was significantly higher than that in non-spleen deficiency with overabundance of dampness (P<0.01) syndrome, and genotype TT in liver stagnation syndrome was significantly higher than that in non-liver stagnation syndrome (P<0.05). There was no significant relationship between the polymorphisms of IL-10-592 A/C, -1082 G/A and the TCM syndromes in posthepatitis B cirrhosis (P>0.05).Conclusion: In patients with posthepatitis B cirrhosis, allele C in IL-10-819 locus may be related to spleen deficiency with overabundance of dampness syndrome, and TT genotype in IL-10-819 locus may be related to liver stagnation syndrome.
Serum levels of microRNAs can specifically predict liver injury of chronic hepatitis B

Abstract: AIM: To investigate whether circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) can serve as molecular markers to predict liver injury resulted from chronic hepatitis B (CHB). METHODS: The profiles of serum miRNA expression were first generated with serum samples collected from 10 patients with CHB and 10 healthy donors (Ctrls) by microarray analysis. The levels of several miRNAs were further quantitated by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction with serum samples from another 24 CHB patients and 24 Ctrls. Serum samples of 20 patients with nonalcohlic steatohepatitis (NASH) were also included for comparison. The comparison in the levels of miRNAs between groups (CHB, NASH and Ctrl) was analyzed with Mann-Whitney U-test. The correlation between miRNAs and clinical pathoparameters was analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis or canonical correlation analysis. The receiver-operator characteristic (ROC) curves were also generated to determine the specificity and sensitivity of each individual miRNA in distinguishing patients with CHB from Ctrls. RESULTS: miRNA profile analysis showed that 34 miRNAs were differentially expressed between CHB and Ctrl subjects, in which 12 were up-regulated and 22 down-regulated in CHB subject (fold change > 2.0 and P < 0.01). The median levels of miR-122, -572, -575 and -638 were significantly higher (P < 1.00 × 10-5) while miR-744 significantly lower (P < 1.00 × 10-6) in CHB compared with the Ctrl. The levels of miR-122, -572 and -638 were also higher (P < 1.00 × 10-3) while the level of miR-744 lower in CHB (P < 0.05) than in NASH, although the difference between them was not as significant as that between CHB and Ctrl. ROC curve analysis revealed that the levels of miR-122, -572, -575, -638 and -744 in serum were sensitive and specific enough to distinguish CHB, NASH and Ctrl. Multivariate analysis further showed that the levels of these miRNAs were correlated with the liver function parameters. Most significantly, it was the scatter plot of principal component with the levels of these miRNAs, but not the parameters of liver function, which clearly distinguished CHB, NASH and Ctrl subjects. CONCLUSION: Serum levels of miR-122, -572, -575, -638 and -744 are deregulated in patients with CHB or NASH. The levels of these miRNAs may serve as potential biomarkers for liver injury caused by CHB and NASH.

Abstract: 骨钙素(OC)对糖代谢、能量代谢的影响是骨内分泌作用的重要部分,也为糖尿病、肥胖的预防治疗提供了新的方向。OC有完全羧化和羧化不全两种形式,后者是发挥内分泌调节作用的活性形式,通过影响OC表达和脱羧可调控其生理作用的发挥。许多分子和细胞水平研究及动物实验已表明OC可促进胰岛β细胞增殖和胰岛素分泌、增强胰岛素敏感性,胰岛素也可通过多种信号转导影响OC的表达和脱羧。本文即对骨钙素与糖代谢之间的信号调控加以综述。
: The effect of osteocalcin (OC) on glucose and energy metabolism is an important part of endocrine function of the skeleton, which provides a new direction for the prevention and treatment of diabetes and obesity. OC has two forms, i.e. completely carboxylated and undercarboxylated OC (ucOC). The latter is an active form for facilitating the endocrine regulation by regulating the physiological action via affecting the expression and decarboxylation of OC. Many molecular or cellular level researches and animal experiments have revealed that OC may promote the proliferation of pancreatic β cell, secretion of insulin, and insulin sensitivity, and insulin may also affect the expression and decarboxylation of OC by various signal transductions. Abstract: 考察了制备参数及反应条件对蜂窝状堇青石基CuO/Al2O3催化剂同时脱硫脱硝活性的影响。结果表明,添加碱金属可以提高脱硫活性,但由于促进NH3氧化而降低了脱硝活性。为了获得理想的同时脱硫脱硝活性,催化剂的适宜载铜量为6.0%,载钠量为2.0%。随着反应温度从350℃升高到450℃,该催化剂的脱硫活性逐渐升高,再生后脱硫活性都有所下降,但仍具有活性随温度升高而升高的趋势,说明脱硫过程为反应控制型;但由于温度升高,NH3氧化加剧,脱硝活性逐渐降低,所以适宜操作温度为400℃。在1450h^-1~3600h^-1范围内,空速对脱硝活性影响不大,对脱硫活性影响较大。对于再生催化剂,当空速由3600h^-1降低到2300h^-1时,硫容(SO2转化率达80%时单位质量催化剂所吸附的SO2量)不断增加,继续降低空速时硫容基本保持不变,所以适宜操作空速为2300h^-1以下。
NH3 regeneration of SO2-captured V2O5/AC catalyst-sorbent for simultaneous SO2 and NO removal

Abstract: 对烟气同时脱硫脱硝过程中吸附SO2后的活性炭载V2O5(V2O5/AC)催化-吸附剂在含NH3气氛下的再生条件进行了考察,发现3%-5%NH3/Ar气氛、300℃、60 min再生可有效恢复V2O5/AC的脱硫活性,并明显提高其脱硝活性。基于对SO2和NO的脱除率、再生后V2O5/AC的硫质量分数以及FT-IR谱图分析发现,NH3的存在对V2O5/AC所吸附硫的脱附行为没有明显影响,但可显著改变V2O5/AC的表面化学性质,有利于烟气脱硫;NH3还可在V2O5/AC表面储存,显著促进脱硝。
Research on the High Strength Glass Ceramics/Mullite Ceramics Composites  [PDF]

Abstract: In order to improve the bending strength of mullite ceramic thin tiles, SiO2-ZnO-Na2O-Y2O3 glass was prepared on the surface of the tiles. The influences of the thermal properties and thermal expansion coefficient of the glass and the sintering temperature on the structure and the property of the composites were investigated by differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Raman and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The bending strength of the composites was measured with an universal testing machine. Results show that the crystallization temperature of the SiO2-ZnO-Na2O-Y2O3 glass is higher than that of SiO2-ZnO-Na2O glass. The corresponding crystallites show more complex structure for the SiO2-ZnO-Na2O-Y2O3 glass. The thermal expansion coefficients of both glasses are lower than the mullite ceramic tiles. The bending strength of the composites after sintering at 1150°C was obviously improved by 10.7% to 106.2 MPa, compared with the mullite ceramic tiles.
Polarization Characteristics of a Partially Coherent Gaussian Schell-Model Beam in Slant Atmospheric Turbulence

Abstract: On the basis of the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle, the cross-spectral density matrix (CSDM) of partially coherent Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) beams in the slant atmospheric turbulence is derived. Given that the light emitted from a transmitter is elliptically polarized light, the degree of polarization (DoP) of the partially coherent GSM beams is represented by Stokes parameters expressed by the elements of the CSDM. The expressions of the orientation angle, polarized light intensity in the major axis are derived and the numerical results are presented. Depolarization theory is studied using a Mueller matrix and the depolarization index (DI) is obtained to describe the depolarized state of the partially coherent GSM beams propagating in the slant atmospheric turbulence. Results show that the DOP and DI of the beam tend to their initial value in the long-range propagation.
Probing $HZγ$ and $Hγγ$ anomalous couplings in the process of $e^+e^- \to Hγ$

Abstract: Rare decay of the Higgs boson is a powerful tool to probe new physics beyond the standard model. The rare decays occur through quantum loops in which the standard model and new physics contributions might cancel each other out. We consider a faked-no-new-physics scenario that the new physics contributions are about minus two times the standard model contribution such that partial widths of Higgs boson rare decays are the same as the standard model predictions. We propose to measure the $HZ\gamma$ and $H\gamma\gamma$ anomalous couplings in the process of $e^+ e^- \to H\gamma$ that is strongly correlated to Higgs boson rare decays. We show that the faked-no-new-physics scenario can be fully probed at a high energy electron-positron collider.
