Three Dimensional Morphology and Microstructural Evolution of Bainite in Steels
Xangzheng BO,Hongsheng FANG,Jiajun WANG,

材料科学技术学报 , 1998,
Abstract: The 3-D morphology of bainite in steels has been studied by SEM with high resolution. Based on the dual-surface observation results, the bainite is divided into three sub-categories:upper,transient and lower bainites. The subplates composing upper bainite sheaf are lath-like while the whole morphology of lower bainite and that of its subplates are plate-shaped. The subunits in lower bainite seem to be lumpish. The 3-D morphology of transient bainite proves to resemble both upper and lower bainites on some aspects. The microStructural evolution of three types of bainite has been discussed.

International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health , 2013, DOI: 10.3390/ijerph10010328
Abstract: Land use/land cover change has been attracting increasing attention in the field of global environmental change research because of its role in the social and ecological environment. To explore the ecological risk characteristics of land use change in the Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone of China, an eco-risk index was established in this study by the combination of a landscape disturbance index with a landscape fragmentation index. Spatial distribution and gradient difference of land use eco-risk are analyzed by using the methods of spatial autocorrelation and semivariance. Results show that ecological risk in the study area has a positive correlation, and there is a decreasing trend with the increase of grain size both in 1995 and 2005. Because the area of high eco-risk value increased from 1995 to 2005, eco-environment quality declined slightly in the study area. There are distinct spatial changes in the concentrated areas with high land use eco-risk values from 1995 to 2005. The step length of spatial separation of land use eco-risk is comparatively long — 58 km in 1995 and 11 km in 2005 — respectively. There are still nonstructural factors affecting the quality of the regional ecological environment at some small-scales. Our research results can provide some useful information for land eco-management, eco-environmental harnessing and restoration. In the future, some measures should be put forward in the regions with high eco-risk value, which include strengthening land use management, avoiding unreasonable types of land use and reducing the degree of fragmentation and separation.
First-principles study of the structural, elastic, and electronic properties of the cubic perovskite BaHfO$_3$
Hongsheng Zhao,Aimin Chang,Yunlan Wang
Physics , 2008,
Abstract: First principles study of structural, elastic, and electronic properties of the cubic perovskitetype BaHfO$_3$ has been performed using the plane wave ultrasoft pseudo-potential method based on density functional theory with revised Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof exchange-correlation functional of the generalized gradient approximation (GGA-RPBE). The calculated equilibrium lattice constant of this compound is in good agreement with the available experimental and theoretical data reported in the literatures. The independent elastic constants (\emph{C}$_{11}$, \emph{C}$_{12}$, and \emph{C}$_{44}$), bulk modules \emph{B} and its pressure derivatives $B^{\prime}$, compressibility $\beta$, shear modulus \emph{G}, Young's modulus \emph{Y}, Poisson's ratio $\nu$, and Lam\'{e} constants ($\mu, \lambda$) are obtained and analyzed in comparison with the available theoretical and experimental data for both the singlecrystalline and polycrystalline BaHfO$_3$. The band structure calculations show that BaHfO$_3$ is a indirect bandgap material (R-$\Gamma$ = 3.11 eV) derived basically from the occupied O 2\emph{p} and unoccupied Hf 5\emph{d} states, and it still awaits experimental confirmation. The density of states (total, site-projected, and \emph{l}-decomposed) and the bonding charge density calculations make it clear that the covalent bonds exist between the Hf and O atoms and the ionic bonds exist between the Ba atoms and HfO$_3$ ionic groups in BaHfO$_3$. From our calculations, it is shown that BaHfO$_3$ should be promising as a candidate for synthesis and design of superhard materials due to the covalent bonding between the transition metal Hf 5\emph{d} and O 2\emph{p} states.
Perfect Circular Dichroic Metamirrors

Physics , 2015,
Abstract: In nature, the beetle Chrysina gloriosa derives its iridescence by selectively reflecting left-handed circularly polarized light only. Here, for the first time, we introduce and demonstrate the optical analogue based on an ultrathin metamaterial, which we term circular dichroic metamirror. A general method to design the circular dichroic metasmirror is presented under the framework of Jones calculus. It is analytically shown that the metamirror can be realized by two layers of anisotropic metamaterial structures, in order to satisfy the required simultaneous breakings of n-fold rotational (n>2) and mirror symmetries. We design an infrared metamirror, which shows perfect reflectance for left-handed circularly polarized light without reversing its handedness, while almost completely absorbs right-handed circularly polarized light. These findings offer new methodology to realize novel chiral optical devices for a variety of applications, including polarimetric imaging, molecular spectroscopy, as well as quantum information processing.
Highly Efficient Forward and Backward Propagation of Convolutional Neural Networks for Pixelwise Classification
Hongsheng Li,Rui Zhao,Xiaogang Wang
Computer Science , 2014,
Abstract: We present highly efficient algorithms for performing forward and backward propagation of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for pixelwise classification on images. For pixelwise classification tasks, such as image segmentation and object detection, surrounding image patches are fed into CNN for predicting the classes of centered pixels via forward propagation and for updating CNN parameters via backward propagation. However, forward and backward propagation was originally designed for whole-image classification. Directly applying it to pixelwise classification in a patch-by-patch scanning manner is extremely inefficient, because surrounding patches of pixels have large overlaps, which lead to a lot of redundant computation. The proposed algorithms eliminate all the redundant computation in convolution and pooling on images by introducing novel d-regularly sparse kernels. It generates exactly the same results as those by patch-by-patch scanning. Convolution and pooling operations with such kernels are able to continuously access memory and can run efficiently on GPUs. A fraction of patches of interest can be chosen from each training image for backward propagation by applying a mask to the error map at the last CNN layer. Its computation complexity is constant with respect to the number of patches sampled from the image. Experiments have shown that our proposed algorithms speed up commonly used patch-by-patch scanning over 1500 times in both forward and backward propagation. The speedup increases with the sizes of images and patches.

Open Journal of Business and Management (OJBM) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ojbm.2018.62018
Perceptions of Organizational Politics and employee silence, as two topics to be avoided in organizations, have long drawn widespread attention in the field of organizational behavior and human resources. Based on the theory of social exchange and the theory of individual-organization fit, this paper aims to explore the relationship between the Perceptions of Organizational Politics and employee silence, as well as the Regulatory effect of Conscientiousness and organizational identification. Firstly, it defines the definitions and dimensions of the four variables (Perceptions of Organizational Politics, employee silence, organizational identity and Conscientiousness) through literature review at home and abroad. Based on the existing research results, this study starts from the social exchange theory and individual-organization fit theory, it constructs a model of the impact of organizational political perception on employees’ silence and puts forward hypotheses, in which organizational identification and Conscientiousness are two regulatory variables. Then through a rigorous empirical study to prove the research model proposed in this paper.

Open Journal of Business and Management (OJBM) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/ojbm.2019.72055
Abstract: This passage focuses on three hot issues of franchise including the cause of franchise, the legal issues of franchise and the cost structure of franchise. I make a literature review and point out a future research direction of franchise by analyzing and summarizing domestic and foreign papers. In conclusion, for the emergence of the franchise phenomenon, there is still a lack of a unified theoretical framework for a comprehensive and reasonable explanation. The research on the legal issues of franchise is mainly studied by scholars with legal background, mainly focusing on information disclosure system and anti-monopoly law. Besides, there is no theoretical basis and operation method that can be used to guide the franchisor to design the cost structure.
