Abstract: 背景建模是实现运动目标检测与跟踪的关键技术之一。在实时视频监控系统中,对背景建模算法的运行时间及所提取出的背景图像的实时性有很高的要求,针对这一问题,提出了一种基于切比雪夫不等式的自适应阈值背景建模算法。算法利用切比雪夫不等式计算像素点色度变化的概率估计值,提出了一种自适应阈值分类方法,它将像素点快速分类为前景点、背景点及可疑点,再利用核密度估计方法对可疑点进行进一步分类,最后利用背景更新算法提取实时背景图像。实验结果证明,该算法能快速有效地区分特征明显的背景点与前景点,提高了背景图像提取的速度,对可疑点利用核密度估计方法降低了背景分割的误差,背景建模效果理想,运算速度快,适用于实时视频监控系统。
Optimization Based on Traffic Balance over Multipath Network

Abstract: During the migration to next generation network, multipath network may be used for improving reliability and robustness. The chose multipath in network is the paths which supply the traffic to transfer. How to balance the traffic availability is one of the most important problems in multipath network to improve the performance. To loss rate sensitive traffic, such as VOID (Voice over Internet Protocol) , this paper provided an algorithm to solve the problem of balancing the traffic in multipath network by prediction and optimization theory. I}he algorithm predicts the packet loss rate of each and every path at first, then aiming at the minimum sum of the packet loss rate and achieving the optimal utilization ratio of resources, it converts a traffic balancing problem into optimization problem. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can perform well on QOS, such as packet loss rate.

Abstract: Service discovery is a challenging problem in the Semantic Web service area.One key issue is to discover the most relevant services meeting the functional requirements of users.Equally important,e-Business applications also would like to discover services which best meet their requirements in terms of QoS.In this paper,we present a framework to facilitate Reputation-based service selection,which has three key features.First,we use a structured overlay network as the decentralized service repository system.Second,we propose an adaptive QoS-aware service discovery approach.Then,we present a service oriented distributed reputation assessment algorithm as a QoS support module in our framework.We test our approach on a simple,yet realistic example,and the preliminary results demonstrate that our implementation provides a practical solution.

Abstract: 针对粒子群算法整体上容易陷入局部最优的缺陷,将鱼群算法中的视距、拥挤度引入标准粒子群算法,提出一种改进的粒子群算法,有效提高了粒子群算法的全局收敛性。通过基准函数Sphere、Griewank、Ackley和Shekel’s Foxholes的仿真,验证了改进算法的全局收敛能力。最后,以福建地形为背景,应用改进的粒子群算法完成雷达组网优化部署,进一步验证了改进粒子群算法的有效性。仿真和应用的结果表明,改进后的粒子群算法对于多峰值函数的寻优性能有明显提高。

Abstract: To get better segmentation effect in shorter time,this paper improved the algorithm in two aspects.Firstly,it put forward a CV-based fast level-set method on the basis of the traditional fast level-set method.Secondly,it presented a new fast level-set method which was especially suitable for color image segmentation by introducing the color difference in HSI color space into the CV-based fast level-set method.Experimental results show that this method has good segmentation effect and shorter running time for color images.The new method proposed in this paper improves greatly in performance and running time compared with the old ones.

Abstract: Receive buffer plays a key role on ensuring the playback quality of video media stream. In light of this special request on receiving real time video media stream, a design of buffer based on time driver is proposed in this paper. After a test, this buffer has good results both on smoothing video show and on solving the packet drop and packet disorder problems brought from the poor network environment. This design can be widely applied in the client systems receiving real time video media stream.
Inhibition of Intestinal Adenoma Formation in APCMin/+ Mice by Riccardin D, a Natural Product Derived from Liverwort Plant Dumortiera hirsuta

Abstract: Background Mutation of tumor suppressor gene, adenomatous polyposis coli (APC), is the primary molecular event in the development of most intestinal carcinomas. Animal model with APC gene mutation is an effective tool for study of preventive approaches against intestinal carcinomas. We aimed to evaluate the effect of Riccardin D, a macrocyclic bisbibenzyl compound, as a chemopreventive agent against intestinal adenoma formation in APCMin/+ mice. Methods APCMin/+ mice were given Riccardin D by p.o. gavage for 7 weeks. Mice were sacrificed, and the number, size and histopathology of intestinal polyps were examined under a microscope. We performed immunohistochemical staining, western blotting, reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in intestinal polyps to investigate the mechanism of chemopreventive effect of Riccardin D. Results Riccardin D treatment resulted in a significant inhibition of intestinal adenoma formation, showing a reduction of polyp number by 41.7%, 31.1% and 44.4%, respectively, in proximal, middle and distal portions of small intestine. The activity of Riccardin D against polyp formation was more profound in colon, wherein Riccardin D decreased polyp number by 79.3%. Size distribution analysis revealed a significant reduction in large-size polyps (2–3 mm) by 40.0%, 42.5% and 33.3%, respectively, in proximal, middle and distal portions of small intestine, and 77.8% in colon. Histopathological analysis of the intestinal polyps revealed mostly hyperplastic morphology without obvious dysplasia in Riccardin D-treated mice. Molecular analyses of the polyps suggested that the inhibitory effect of Riccardin D on intestinal adenoma formation was associated with its abilities of reduction in cell proliferation, induction of apoptosis, antiangiogenesis, inhibition of the Wnt signaling pathway and suppression of inflammatory mediators in polyps. Conclusions Our results suggested that Riccardin D exerts its chemopreventive effect against intestinal adenoma formation through multiple mechanisms including anti-proliferative, apoptotic, anti-angiogenic and anti-inflammatory activity.
A New Friedelane Type Triterpene from Euonymus hederaceus

Abstract: Euonymus hederaceus is distributed widely in the south of China; its stems and leaves have been used as folk medicines to treat many diseases such as renal deficiency and chronic diarrhea, traumatic injury, and abnormal menstruation. Chemical investigation of the leaves and stems of Euonymus hederaceus resulted in the isolation forthe first time and characterization of a new friedelane type triterpene with a molecular mass of 472 and molecular formula of C30H48O4 by high resolution mass spectrometry. The 1H-NMR 13C-NMR and DEPT1350 spectra matched the characteristic data of the proposed triterpene skeleton.The compound was finally identified as 28-hydroxyfriedelan-3-one-29-oic acid on the basis of spectroscopic evidence, including two dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance as well as its IR spectrum.
LC/MS Guided Isolation of Alkaloids from Lotus Leaves by pH-Zone-Refining Counter-Current Chromatography

Abstract: The traditional methods used in natural product separation primarily target the major components and the minor components may thus be lost during the separation procedure. Consequently, it’s necessary to develop efficient methods for the preparative separation and purification of relatively minor bioactive components. In this paper, a LC/MS method was applied to guide the separation of crude extract of lotus (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) leaves whereby a minor component was identified in the LC/MS analysis. Afterwards, an optimized pH-zone-refining CCC method was performed to isolate this product, identified as N-demethylarmepavine. The separation procedure was carried out with a biphasic solvent system composed of hexane-ethyl acetate-methyl alcohol-water (1:6:1:6, v/v) with triethylamine (10 mM) added to the upper organic phase as a retainer and hydrochloric acid (5 mM) to the aqueous mobile phase eluent. Two structurally similar compounds – nuciferine and roemerine – were also obtained from the crude lotus leaves extract. In total 500 mg of crude extract furnished 7.4 mg of N-demethylarmepavine, 45.3 mg of nuciferine and 26.6 mg of roemerine with purities of 90%, 92% and 96%, respectively. Their structures were further identified by HPLC/ESI-MSn, FTICR/MS and the comparison with reference compounds.
