Abstract: We report a case of 30-year-old woman with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS). Because of small intestinal obstruction, she received the small intestinal polypectomy in 2001, and the pathological diagnosis was Peutz-Jeghers polyp canceration (mucinous adenocarcinoma, infiltrating full-thickness of the intestine). The patient did not feel uncomfortable after 6 mo of chemotherapy and other management. We kept a follow-up study on her and found that she suffered from cervical cancer in 2007, with a pathological diagnosis of cervical adenosquamous carcinoma.The patient presented with typical features of PJS, but without a family history. The PJS accompanied with both small intestinal and cervical malignancies has not been reported so far in the world.
A Brief Review on Bioinspired ZnO Superhydrophobic Surfaces: Theory, Synthesis, and Applications

Abstract: Due to the intensive demand in the development of superhydrophobic surfaces both in theory and application, superhydrophobic research on ZnO materials has exponentially grown over the last several years. One of the main advantages of the ZnO materials is the relative easiness to produce various surface morphologies, which is quite meaningful to study the influence of morphology on wetting property. The synthesis approaches of ZnO materials include thermal oxidization, hydrothermal method, chemical etching, spray coating technique, electrochemical method, and others. This review is a representation of the recent achievement on ZnO superhydrophobic surfaces. 1. Introduction When a liquid drop is in contact with a solid surface, two distinct regimes of liquid spreading are observed depending on the spreading factor ( ), where , , and are the interfacial tensions between liquid and solid, solid and gas, and gas and liquid [1]. The spreading factor indicates whether the formation of a liquid film is energetically favorable on a solid surface. A positive spreading factor means that the energy state with a liquid film on the solid surface is lower than that without a liquid film, implying that a liquid film will be preferably formed on the solid surface, that is, complete wetting. A negative spreading factor , on the other hand, means a liquid drop will be formed on the solid surface with a certain contact angle, that is, partial wetting. In the partial wetting regime, if a contact angle is less than 90°, a surface is called hydrophilic. If a contact angle is larger than 90°, a surface is called hydrophobic. In particular, a surface with a contact angle larger than 150° is considered to be superhydrophobic [2]. Therefore, the surface wetting property, that is, droplet contact angle, is closely related to the interfacial energies. However, as there exist irregular or regular patterns on the liquid and solid interface on superhydrophobic surfaces, droplet contact angle should be determined by overall considering interfacial energies and the structural parameters. Meanwhile, superhydrophobic surfaces have kept attracting considerable interests due to the observation of various superhydrophobic phenomena in nature [2–13]. Abstract: 灰飞虱(Laodelphax striatellus Fallén)近年来严重危害水稻并传播病毒病,麦田是其越冬并虫量扩增后向稻田迁移的重要场所,麦田一代灰飞虱也是防治的重点对象之一。利用半方差函数模型分析了麦田一代灰飞虱若虫在时间序列上的空间结构,得出了空间自相关的各项属性与虫口密度或环境因素的关系:长、短变程与密度无关,保持相对稳定;块金常数与密度成正相关(比例效应的存在),随机性强度与密度成三次多项式曲线相关;各向异性主要由于麦田行株距的差别所决定。并用一般克立金方法作出预测表面图,按时间顺序排列,将灰飞虱若虫在田间的时空分布情况直观地显示出来进行比较分析,得出灰飞虱若虫具有比较稳定的时空分布,认为食料充足、生境孤立、自身行动力较弱是形成这种情况的主要原因,此外包括天敌在内的一些次要因素也对其种群分布产生影响。

Abstract: The stopping power and accumulation energy for protons in SiO2 are calculated by using Monte Carlo software TRIM95. As a result, the ionizing stopping power and the nucleus stopping power are compared for protons in SiO2 , and the relation between absorption dose of material surface and factual absorption dose of sensitive area is discussed. CCA007RH and CC4011 devices were irradiated with Co-60 gamma rays, 1MeV electrons and 1-9MeV protons to compare the ionizing radiation damage of the gamma rays with the charged particles. The result show that the radiation damages from Co-60 gamma rays, 1MeV electrons and 1-TMeV protons were equivalent for 0V gate bias conditions. Under 5V gate bias, the radiation damage for Co-60 gamma rays was most serious. The distinction in damage between 1MeV electrons and Co-60 gamma rays was not large. The damage from protons below 9MeV was always less than that from Co-60. The lower the proton energy, the less the damage.

Abstract: Chaotic sequence as spreading code in spread spectrum systems has the characteristics of rich sequences and good confidentiality. Traditional Logistic chaotic sequence as well as its modified sequence is not ideal in ergodicity and randomness of its sequence. ho solve this problem, a new piecewise Logistic chaotic spread spectrum communication algorithm was proposed based on the analysis of the randomness, correlation, initial sensitivity and Lyapunoy exponents of the referred chaotic sequence, and applied to spread spectrum communication. hhe simulation results show that the algorithm greatly improves the error rate and confidentiality in the spread spectrum communication compared to the traditional logistic chaotic sequence and its modified sequence, which proves that the algorithm mentioned in this article is effective.

Abstract: Inverse synthetic aperture radar images maneuvering targets, and during the coherent processing interval time, imaging projection plane and the scale of cross-range change with time, so many parameters are difficult to accu- rately extract and more prior knowledge can't be acquired. In general, the robust rangcdoppler (RD) imaging algorithm is used. But the conventional RI)imaging algorithm is based on the hypothesis of the target rotating uniformly and sam- pling uniformity in azimuth. For maneuvering target imaging, RD algorithm will make the image fuzzy. Especially for ra- dar gapped data, the performance of imaging descends greatly and even cant be identified. This paper introduced a range instantaneous Doppler imaging algorithm based on sparse representation and time-frectuency transform which can effec- tively image the maneuvering target. hhe experimental results validate the effectiveness and feasibility of this approach.
Optimal Mechanism of Parallel Downloading

Abstract: Parallel downloading is modeled. And based on the model, the optimal mechanism is analyzed and proposed in terms of the performance of downloading nodes. The optimal mechanism includes the optimal source nodes set selected and file blocking scheme. Theoretical analysis proves that this mechanism can minimize the cost function of downloading nodes. Simulation results justify the validity of this mechanism.
Distinct Risk Profiles for Human Infections with the Influenza A(H7N9) Virus among Rural and Urban Residents: Zhejiang Province, China, 2013

Abstract: Objective To identify the risk factors and source of infection leading to human infections with the Influenza A(H7N9) virus in urban and rural areas. Methods We conducted a case-control investigation to identify potential exposures and risk factors. Controls were randomly selected from the same community as the cases using random digit dialing. We used exact conditional logistic regression to evaluate the exposures and risk factors, stratified by urban and rural residence. Results Buying live or freshly slaughtered poultry from a market was significantly associated with illness onset among both urban [48% of 25 case-patients and 12% of 125 control-persons, adjusted odds ratio (AOR) = 19, 95% CI: 2.3–929] and rural (33% of 18 case-patients and 8.9% of 90 control-persons, AOR = 13, 95% CI:1.5–∞) residents. In rural area, tending to home-raised poultry (56% of 18 case-patients and 10% of 90 control-persons, AOR = 57, 95% CI: 7.5–∞) and existence of a poultry farm in the vicinity of the residence (28% of 18 case-patients and 5.6% of 90 control-persons, AOR = 37, 95% CI: 3.8–∞) were also significantly associated with disease onset. Presence of underlying medical conditions was a significant risk factor for urban residents (76% of 25 case-patients and 13% of 125 control-persons, AOR = 49, 95% CI: 7.1–2132). Conclusions Buying live or freshly slaughtered poultry from a market is a risk factor for both urban and rural residents, tending to home-raised poultry and existence of a poultry farm in the vicinity of the residence are risk factors unique for rural residents. The virus might have been in stealth circulation in the poultry population before infecting humans. We recommend strict poultry market management and multisectoral collaboration to identify the extent of poultry infection in China.

Abstract: 应用MM5中尺度数值模拟模式和GRADS气象图形软件,对1999年6月22日~7月2日一次褐飞虱迁飞降落过程及其大气背景场进行了个例研究,并侧重对灵川、东至、徽州3个站点的降虫机制做了分析。结果表明:(1)此次迁飞过程有两个明显的降虫区:天柱.灵川.贺县一线范围内(降虫区Ⅰ)和三都-天柱-黔阳-修水-东至-徽州-奉贤-线(降虫区Ⅱ);(2)低空急流为褐飞虱北迁提供了运载气流,降虫区位于降水区边缘;(3)地形降水胁迫害虫降落是降虫区Ⅰ褐飞虱降落的主要原因,梅雨锋降水导致了褐飞虱集中降落在降虫区Ⅱ;(4)虫源的空间分布差异和不同的天气条件导致了东至、徽州地区不同的降虫分布。
