The $S$-wave resonance contributions to the three body decays $B^0_{(s)}\to η_c f_0(X)\to η_cπ^+π^-$

Abstract: In this paper, we study the three-body decays $B^0_{(s)}\to \eta_c f_0(X)\to \eta_c \pi^+\pi^-$ by employing the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. We evaluate the $S$-wave resonance contributions by using the two-pion distribution amplitude $\Phi_{\pi\pi}^{\rm S}$. The Breit$-$Wigner formula for the $f_0(500)$, $f_0(1500)$, and $f_0(1790)$ resonances and the Flatt\'e model for the $f_0(980)$ resonance are adopted to parameterize the time-like scalar form factors $F_{s}(\omega^2)$, which include both resonant and non-resonant contributions. We found the following results: (a) the pQCD predictions for the branching ratios are ${\cal B}(B^0\to \eta_c f_0(500)[\pi^+\pi^-])= \left ( 1.38 ^{+1.01}_{-0.63} \right ) \times 10^{-5},$ and $ {\cal B}(B_s\to \eta_c f_0(X)[\pi^+\pi^-] ) =\left ( 2.73^{+2.53}_{-1.32} \right )\times 10^{-4}$ when the contributions and interferences from $f_0(X)=(f_0(980),f_0(1500),f_0(1790))$ are all taken into account; (b) the $m(\pi^+\pi^-)$-dependence of the pQCD predictions for the differential decay rate are rather similar for both kinds of decays $B^0_s \to \jpsi \pi^+\pi^-$ and $B^0_s \to \eta_c \pi^+\pi^-$; and (c) the considered decays could be measured and tested at the ongoing LHCb experiment.

Reclamation of Coastal Wetlands and Sustainable Utilization of Wetland Resources: A Case Study from Wanggang, Jiangsu Province

Abstract: Wetlands are found in vegetated lowland areas,with depressions in landscape, between water and dry land along the edges of streams,rivers,lakes and coastlines.Coastal wetlands contain rich values in ecosystem goods and services;they are habitats for many birds and unique halophyte flora,sustaining the productivity of estuarine and tidal flat ecosystems and representing important nutrient sinks.Both directly and indirectly,they support large,often rapidly growing, human populations in coastal hinterlands.As one of the most typical areas of coastal wetland evolution,the wetland area at Wanggang is being reduced and the ecological environment is degrading,in response to reclamation of the coastal wetlands.Some 74.1km^2 of wetlands at Wanggang have been reclaimed since the 1970s,and the main type of salt marsh vegetation remained was Spartina alterniflora,which was introduced into the Wanggang coastal area in the early 1990s for the purpose of coastal protection and accretion.Field observations show that a large number of aves and gray-cranes were forced to migrate and some part of new dikes was subjected to erosion due to intense reclamation of salt marshes.In order to achieve sustainable utilization of the wetland resources,it is necessary to change the utilization pattern of the wetland resources,adopting a scientific strategy of development that favors a healthy ecological environment.For instance, development activities should be associated with reserve of scientific research,industry of flower and lawn production,eco-tourism of tidal wetlands,integrated silvopastoral system,integrated management of tidal salt marshes, and the establishment of a legislation system.

Abstract: The title compound, C16H12Cl2O, was synthesized from 1-naphthol and 1,2-dichlorobenzene with anhydrous aluminium chloride as a cataylst. In the molecule, the two ring systems are approximately perpendicular to one other with a dihedral angle of 82.06 (4)°. There are two CH-type hydrogen bonds.
Isolation and bioinformatics analysis of differentially methylated genomic fragments in human gastric cancer

Abstract: AIM: To isolate and analyze the DNA sequences which are methylated differentially between gastric cancer and normal gastric mucosa.METHODS: The differentially methylated DNA sequences between gastric cancer and normal gastric mucosa were isolated by methylation-sensitive representational difference analysis (MS-RDA). Similarities between the separated fragments and the human genomic DNA were analyzed with Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST).RESULTS: Three differentially methylated DNA sequences were obtained, two of which have been accepted by GenBank. The accession numbers are AY887106 and AY887107. AY887107 was highly similar to the 11th exon of LOC440683 (98%), 3’ end of LOC440887 (99%), and promoter and exon regions of DRD5 (94%). AY887106 was consistent (98%) with a CpG island in ribosomal RNA isolated from colorectal cancer by Minoru Toyota in 1999.CONCLUSION: The methylation degree is different between gastric cancer and normal gastric mucosa. The differentially methylated DNA sequences can be isolated effectively by MS-RDA.
Pierre Bourdieu’s Standpoint on Media Culture and the Consumptive Liability of Contemporary Mass Media in China

Abstract: Pierre Bourdieu was a famous contemporary thinker, sociologist and culture theory critic in France. His contribution not only embodies on providing a serial of social concepts, his comment and analysis on media culture, and the much broader way that he brought to culture study were also expensively valuable .What is more, it can also be used for reference in interpreting the changing process of the mass media culture in China. This thesis is composed of three parts. First, it aims to traces and analyses Bourdieu’s unique understanding and strategic point to media culture, and try to make it clear which part does contributions to the study of media culture ; Secondly, it goes on using the macro-thought way and several main concepts Bourdieu provided in studying media culture in China which is rounded by consumptive thoughts. During this process, we can see how the mass media changes and turns its meanings , and how it affects the receiver’s thoughts and the structure the society. In the last part, we aknowledged that Bourdieu`s theory indeed provided a unique visual angle for us in studying culture phenomenon. However, we should also notice that Bourdieu`s theory had his own shortages,and we should think it farther. Sa contribution consiste non seulement à offrir une série de concepts sociaux, mais son commentaire et analyse sur la culture de médias, et la voie élargie qu’il a frayé pour l’étude de la culture sont aussi précieux. En outre, il peut encore servir de référence pour interpréter le processus de changement de la culture de mass médias en Chine. Cet essai est composé de trois parties. D’abord, il vise à décrire et analyser la compréhension unique et la vue stragétique de Bourdieu sur la culture de médias. , et à éclaircir quelle partie contribue à l’étude de la culture de médias. Deuxièment, il continue à utiliser le mode de pensée macroscopique et plusieurs concepts principaux que Bourdieu a avancé dans l’étude de la culture de médias de la Chine qui est entourée par des pensées consomptives. Dans ce processus, on peut voir comment les mass médias changent leur sens et comment ils influent la pensée du récepteur et la structure sociale. Dans la dernière partie, on admet que la théorie de Bourdieu nous a en effet fourni un angle visuel unique pour l’étude du phénomène culturel. Modification and Photocatalytic Activity of TiO2 Inverse Opal Membranes

Abstract: The surface of TiO2 inverse opal material was modified by Liquid Phase Deposition(LPD) method, and a layer of TiO2 nanoparticles was deposited on the inverse opal framework in order to increase the specific surface area. The photo-catalytical degradation of Rhodamine B was used as the probe-reaction to investigate the photocatalysis activity of the TiO2 inverse opal membranes, and the influences of boric acid concentration of the LPD solution on surface morphology and photocatalysis activity of TiO2 inverse opal membranes were investigated. The results showed that the photocatalysis activity of TiO2 inverse opal membrane modified by LPD method was improved which was about 6 times higher than that of the unmodified TiO2 inverse opal when the boric acid concentration of PLD solution was 0.0183 g/mL.

Abstract: With ecological appropriation method,the current situation of ecological appropriation of natural capital utilization in Hunan Province is assessed in this paper.The results show that the ecological appropriation demand per capita in Hunan Province is 1.0323hm~2,and there still exists 0.4999hm~2 biological productive space per capita to use.Obviously,the per capita deficit of ecological footprint is 0.5324hm~2 in 2000,and the development at present is disadvantageous for achieving sustainable development.
