Encontramos a 476 positivos (17,8%) y 2193 negativos (82,2%).

Abstract: in 1987 the university of guadalajara performed a seroepidemiological survey in order to know the prevalence of infection for trypanosoma cruzi in the 124 counties of the state of jalisco, mexico in which appraisals of 21.6 for 100 inhabitants were gotten. from december of 1993 to june of 1994 was carried out a pursuit of some those individuals, studying it only to 2669 of they, of 50 municipalities of rural areas of the state. the causes off not survey of the not found was diverse, being between the most important the emigration (27.6%) and the not cooperation (14.8%). we found to 476 positives (17.8%) and 2193 negatives (82.2%). this second study allowed us detect 80 new cases (2.9%) the one which represents an appraisal of incidence of 30 for 100 inhabitants. however we found a seroconvertion in the studied individuals, since of 1007 individuals that were positives in 1987; 943 of them continues so, while 64 individuals became negative (2.3%), not being this attributable to flaws of laboratory, the prevalence of positivite detected in both studies was almost identical, 18.1 and 17.8 % respectly, for the one which we believe that the conditions in that the individuals of the rural towns of the state of jalisco live favor to that the infections continue.

Investiga??es em Ensino de Ciências , 2009,
Abstract: This paper is part of a doctoral thesis that investigates Basic Quantum Mechanics (QM) teaching in high school. A Conceptual Structure of Reference (CSR) based on the Path Integral Method of Feynman (1965) was rebuilt and a Proposed Conceptual Structure for Teaching (PCST) (Otero, 2006, 2007) the basics of Quantum Mechanics at secondary school was designed, analysed and carried out. This PCST does not follow the historical route and it is complementary to the canonical formalism. The concepts: probability distribution, quantum system, x(t) alternative, amplitude of probability, sum of probability amplitude, action, Planck's constant, and classic-quantum transition were rebuilt with the students. Mathematical formalism was avoided by using simulation software assistance. The Proposed Conceptual Structure for Teaching (PCST) is described and some results from the test carried out by the class group are discussed. This information allows the analysis of the Conceptual Structure Effectively Reconstructed (CSER) to be initiated with the students.

Mathematics , 2013,
Abstract: Any given surface of revolution embedded in Euclidean three-space can always be perturbed by arbitrarily small ambient isotopies as to admit highly nontrivial vector fields inducing infinitesimal deformations. For this matter Morse Theory is used, clarifying and giving a general response of a problem started with an idea of M. Spivak.
Parasites of Auchenipterus osteomystax (Osteichthyes, Auchenipteridae) from two different environments, Rosana’s reservoir and upper Paraná river floodplain, Brazil = Parasitos de Auchenipterus osteomystax (Osteichthyes-Auchenipteridae) de dois diferentes ambientes, reservatório de Rosana e planície de inunda o do alto rio Paraná, Brasil

Acta Scientiarum : Biological Sciences , 2009,
Abstract: Surumanha, Auchenipterus osteomystax Miranda-Ribeiro, 1918 is aninsectivorous species that inhabits benthopelagic freshwater environments. In order to know the parasitic fauna and aspects of the host-parasite relationship in surumanhas from Rosana’s hydroelectric reservoir and the upper Paraná river floodplain, 36 specimens fromthe reservoir and 41 specimens from the floodplain were collected, using gill nets. The parasitic fauna of the hosts from the different environments presented low similarity; among ten parasite species present in A. osteomystax, only two were observed in bothenvironments. It was observed significant difference in the prevalence of the metacercariae of Strigeidae in relation to the sex of the hosts from the floodplain, indicating that males are more parasitized. Clinostomum complanatum was the only species that presented significant negative correlation with the relative condition factor (kn) of the host, indicating possiblepathogenicity.
