Abstract: The theory of false alarm for laughter could explain the involuntary laugh when someone is tickled. To put this hypothesis to the test, we handed out a questionnaire (180 items) with two hundred university students. Our main results are: In women who like being tickled, we discover components related to pleasure, erotism, feeling of affection, arousal, uncontrollability, domination, sexism and Darwinian (golden ratio) and psychological traits (empathy, low schizotypy and external locus of control) that are not present in the laughter at a stumble. The relation of both types of laughter with sense of humor is also differential. In men who like being tickled, we discover components related to masturbation, sexual fantasies, erotism, arousal, domination, sexist humour and Darwinian (square chin, feeling of masculinity) and psychological traits (empathic stress, low schizotypy, external locus of control and overall self-esteem). The relationship between being tickled and self-esteem shows a double aspect in men: It is positive in men who like being tickled and negative in men who do not like being tickled. For women there is not a relationship between self-esteem and tickling. Our conclusion is that laughter of ticklishness is a Darwinian feature related to empathy.

Galfione,María Verónica;
T?3picos , 2009,
Abstract: in the present work, our aim is to emphasize the tensions between the concepts of irony and essay which lukács uses in the soul and the forms, and the way in which such concepts were used by friedrich schlegel at the end of the 18th. century. with that purpose, we will utilize the categories of "modern episteme" and "episteme of the forms" as they are formulated by elías palti. we believe that these categories will allow us to detect certain breaks in the discursive level that remain hidden under the apparent continuity of some topics and make difficult the reading of the soul and the forms.
From traditional transactions to B2B: a contract theoretical analysis
Alderete,María Verónica;
Journal of theoretical and applied electronic commerce research , 2010, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-18762010000300003
Abstract: this paper extends alderete (2009) model of screening contracts to build electronic commerce between a large firm and a small and medium sized enterprise (sme) supplier. the large firm (principal) must choose among sme suppliers (agents) that differ in costs and utility for the icttechnology (network good). the method is based on compte and jehiel (2008), whose main insight is that when several potential candidates compete for the task, the principal will in general improve the performance of her firm by inducing the member candidates to assess their competence before signing the contract (through an appropriate choice of contracts). in the presence of different preferences for the network good, we show that social surplus increases.
