Open Journal of Medical Psychology (OJMP) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ojmp.2014.35036
Abstract: The aim of this research lies on comparing anxiety body image profiles between male and female university students. A total sample of 2089 freshmen—902 women and 1187 men is from the different degrees offered by the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, with an average age of 18.23 ± 0.74 years. The approach used in the research is part of a quantitative design with a survey description. The differences found between men and women regarding their own perception of anxiety suggest that when designing any kind of intervention that aims at the decreasingly perceived anxiety, the gender variable will have to be taken into account. Future investigations should respond to these discoveries in larger samples.

Abstract: This work presents a thermodynamic and experimental analysis of the phases that precipitate in the non metallic inclusions depending on the contents of aluminium (Al), titanium (Ti) and oxygen (O) in the steel, and their influence on the nozzle clogging. For the thermodynamic analysis, the program FACT WIN (Facility For The Analysis of Chemical Thermodynamics) subroutine Equilib. was used. The experimental tests were carried out in an TAMMANN furnace, in an argon atmosphere. The control of the content of dissolved oxygen was carried out by means of sensors of solid electrolyte bases zirconia. The characterization of the inclusions was carried out with SEM, EDS and by means of the technique of fractional reduction with carbon. A good agreement was observed between the thermodynamic predictions and the experimental results.
