Abstract: Estudo bibliométrico sobre a produ o científica brasileira em revistas espanholas, com o objetivo para avaliar a produ o científica de autores brasileiros na Espanha. A análise foi feita através de artigos científicos publicados em revistas espanholas coletadas pelas bases de dados de Ciência e Tecnologia (ICYT) e de Ciências Sociais e Humanidades (ISOC) do Conselho Ssuperior de Investiga es Científicas (CSIC). Os resultados da investiga o mostram que a contribui o brasileira ao conjunto das bases ICYT e ISOC é mínima, tal afirmativa baseia-se na participa o brasileira nessas bases de dados: em Ciência e Tecnologia n o representou 1% e em Ciências Sociais e Humanindades e n o alcan ou 0.50% dos trabalhos recolhidos.
Integrating DGSs and GATPs in an Adaptative and Collaborative Blended-Learning Web-Environment

Abstract: The area of geometry with its very strong and appealing visual contents and its also strong and appealing connection between the visual content and its formal specification, is an area where computational tools can enhance, in a significant way, the learning environments. The dynamic geometry software systems (DGSs) can be used to explore the visual contents of geometry. This already mature tools allows an easy construction of geometric figures build from free objects and elementary constructions. The geometric automated theorem provers (GATPs) allows formal deductive reasoning about geometric constructions, extending the reasoning via concrete instances in a given model to formal deductive reasoning in a geometric theory. An adaptative and collaborative blended-learning environment where the DGS and GATP features could be fully explored would be, in our opinion a very rich and challenging learning environment for teachers and students. In this text we will describe the Web Geometry Laboratory a Web environment incorporating a DGS and a repository of geometric problems, that can be used in a synchronous and asynchronous fashion and with some adaptative and collaborative features. As future work we want to enhance the adaptative and collaborative aspects of the environment and also to incorporate a GATP, constructing a dynamic and individualised learning environment for geometry.

Abstract: The "Web Geometry Laboratory" (WGL) project's goal is to build an adaptive and collaborative blended-learning Web-environment for geometry. In its current version (1.0) the WGL is already a collaborative blended-learning Web-environment integrating a dynamic geometry system (DGS) and having some adaptive features. All the base features needed to implement the adaptive module and to allow the integration of a geometry automated theorem prover (GATP) are also already implemented. The actual testing of the WGL platform by high-school teachers is underway and a field-test with high-school students is being prepared. The adaptive module and the GATP integration will be the next steps of this project.

Abstract: The Web Geometry Laboratory, (WGL), is a blended-learning, collaborative and adaptive, Web environment for geometry. It integrates a well known dynamic geometry system. In a collaborative session, exchange of geometrical and textual information between the user engaged in the session is possible. In a normal work session (stand-alone mode), all the geometric steps done by the students are recorded, alongside the navigation information, allowing, in a latter stage, their teachers to "play back" the students sessions, using that info to assert the students level and adjust the teaching strategies to each individual student. Teachers can register and begin using one of the public servers, defining students, preparing materials to be released to the students, open collaborative sessions, etc. Using an action research methodology the WGL system is being developed, validated through case-studies, and further improved, in a cycle where the implementation steps are intertwined with case studies.

Abstract: the biology of scymnus (pullus) argentinicus weise on schizaphis graminum at the temperatures 20, 25 and 30oc was studied. the temperatures of 25 and 30oc were favorable to s. (pullus) argentinicus development. the average of the incubation period was 3.24 days and the larval development was 8.43 days at 25oc. the duration of the instars and pre-pupal and pupal periods was significantly shorter at 25 and 30oc. the percentage of emerging adults was higher at 30oc (98%) while at 20oc this percentual was 82%.

Abstract:
This paper observes and researches the relations between symbolic unicorn representation in Ridley Scott’s movies Blade Runner and Legend comparing it to the medieval bestiary descriptions and representations. The goal in this research is to determine is Scott’s imagery different from the medieval one and authors tend to research and compare that relation in this analysis. In the art of film, the unicorn most often makes its appearance as an objectively presented mythic animal, and, as such, represents the specific symbols with which it is attributed. The English film director Ridley Scott uses the motif of the Unicorn in order to expand semantic value. Scott’s cinema unicorns are very similar to those in medieval bestiaries and representations, yet there are nuances in meaning which propose the specifics of this unicorn motif in contemporary representation in relation to medieval bestiaries. In the film Blade Runner (1982), the explicit symbolic and metaphorical value of the unicorn can be observed, and this can also be found (in an even more intense form) in the film Legend (1985) in which the semantic component is clearly defined by medieval bestiaries and medieval representations. The director’s relationship towards this mythic animal is a reflection of his artistic approach to film, which will be investigated here in the context of the author’s specifics within the film industry.

Abstract: r. brethesi is a sylvatic species from the amazon region; it has been incriminated as responsible for the transmission of chagas disease in collectors of pia?aba in this region. the aim of present study was to investigate the efficiency of these insects as potential vectors of trypanosoma cruzi. aspects related with feeding and defecation patterns, life time, and mortality had been observed in each instar of r. brethesi. we use 5th instar nymphs to get adults virgins, after the moulting 3 groups with 6 females and 2 males each were created to obtain eggs. after hatching, 1st instar nymphs had been weighed and kept in bottles until the next moult. insects were fed once a week in mice. results showed that the average period of incubation was 17 days, the number of blood meal was increasing from the 1st to the 5th instar nymph with 7 (average) to become adult, a significative numbers of the defecations occurring immediately after the bloodmeals. the total percentual of mortality was 16%. this results suggests that this species presents a good exploitation of blood meals and a brief nymphal development in laboratory conditions reflecting its behavior in sylvatic environments.

Abstract: quasi-experimental study that aimed at evaluating the proposed interactive training, as a strategy for change in the behavior of workers, seeking the appropriate use of gloves in the administration of intravenous drugs. the interactive training was structured in the model of health promotion of pender, conducted through access to the web site of the network prevention of accidents at work (repat) available from: http://repat.eerp.usp.br/estrategia/index.php and applied in 60 workers nursing from two hospitals in the state of sao paulo. on the week before the training 58.3% of the workers were wearing gloves to administrate intravenous drugs and 83.3% of the workers informed the intention of wearing gloves after the training. conclusion: the use of interactive tool facilitated the implementation of educational strategy in work and showed that training can help in changing behavior.
