Cooperativas de trabalho de Porto Alegre e flexibiliza??o do trabalho

Abstract: this article attempts to verify the meaning of work co-operatives in the process of productive restructuring and labor flexibilization within brazilian economy, especially in the southern state of rio grande do sul. a research study has been conducted in co-operatives in the city of porto alegre, investigating labor flexibilization, quality if life, and employability. valorization of co-operative ideals and concern for the quality of life of members has been found. those co-operatives, however, struggle against problems resulting from competition by "fa?ade" co-operatives, legislation seen as restrictive, and the fact that those who hire their services seek the lowest costs. a large part is composed of low-training workers who find an alternative to unemployment in co-operative work. even as they point out the problem with this kind of organization, they see it as a solution to the economic crisis and a way to remain in the job market. three case studies have been carried out later on porto alegre co-operatives and compared. since they are co-operatives with distinct levels of training among their members, prospects and expectation are quite different.

Abstract: Neste artigo, procurou-se verificar o que representam as cooperativas de trabalho no processo de reestrutura o produtiva e flexibiliza o do trabalho na economia brasileira e, especificamente, na gaúcha. Desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa junto às cooperativas de Porto Alegre questionando-se quanto à flexibiliza o do trabalho, qualidade de vida e empregabilidade. Identificaram-se, por parte dos dirigentes a valoriza o dos ideais cooperativistas e a preocupa o com a qualidade de vida dos cooperados. Essas cooperativas, no entanto, lutam com dificuldades, decorrentes da concorrência das cooperativas de "fachada", da legisla o considerada restritiva e do fato de os contratantes de seus servi os buscarem o menor custo. Grande parte é constituída de trabalhadores com baixo nível de qualifica o e que encontraram no trabalho cooperativo uma alternativa ao desemprego. Mesmo apontando as dificuldades deste tipo de organiza o consideram como uma solu o à crise econ mica e de se manterem no mercado de trabalho. Foram realizados posteriormente três estudos de caso de cooperativas de trabalho de Porto Alegre e comparados entre si. Como s o cooperativas com diferentes níveis de qualifica o de seus associados, as perspectivas e aspira es s o bastante diferenciadas.
Validade e reflexividade na pesquisa qualitativa

Abstract: until today, the search for numerical accuracy, capable of being validated, confirmed and reproduced, represents the main form of knowledge construction in several areas of social science. while qualitative research has widened its range and gained distinction, its value is questioned by some researchers who believe that it has neither the same rigour in the collection and analysis of data as quantitative research nor capacity for generalization of the results. in this short essay, an attempt is made to discuss two elements of rigour in qualitative research: validity and reflexivity. firstly, a theoretical review is carried out in an effort to define and discuss the concept of validity, as well as highlight the different interpretations given to the term in different epistemological currents. with regard to the concept of reflexivity, the paper highlights the importance of adopting a critical analysis of science with emphasis on the position and actions of the researcher when performing his/her work and the relation that is established with the subjects under study. to finish, some remarks are offered on the construction of knowledge in the scientific field and the role of researcher.

Abstract: O termo mercado de trabalho permeia grande parte das discuss es da sociologia e da economia na atualidade. Porém, mesmo sendo comum encontrar textos que utilizem o termo buscando dimensioná-lo, compreendê-lo, bem como explicar as mudan as que tem sofrido nas últimas décadas, s o poucos os estudos que desenvolvem uma reflex o teórica do conceito e que destacam a vertente que est o seguindo. No presente trabalho busca-se analisar o conceito de mercado de trabalho em diferentes perspectivas da economia e a sociologia, a fim de aprofundar a discuss o sobre o tema. Para tanto, procura apresentar algumas das principais abordagens do termo, destacando sua vertente teórica e possíveis limita es. Da economia s o consideradas as constru es das teorias clássica, keynesiana e da segmenta o. A seguir s o expostas a abordagem das redes sociais da sociologia econ mica e a abordagem institucional. A partir das reflex es sobre o potencial e as limita es de cada vertente e dos conceitos de Bourdieu, apresenta-se um conceito para ampliar a compreens o e a discuss o do termo. Acredita-se que, seguindo esta abordagem, será possível ampliar o debate sobre as estruturas econ micas da atualidade. Para finalizar, fazse um esbo o de como seria possível a compreens o do mercado de trabalho em tempos de mundializa o. The term work market permeates a great number of the present-day debates in sociology and economy. However, even though it is common to find texts that attempt to dimension and understand work, as well as explain the changes it has undergone in recent decades, there are few studies that look into the theoretical aspects of the concept and highlight the perspective they are following. In the present study an attempt is made to analyze the concept at different approaches. For this purpose, some of the main approaches towards the term are presented, and their theoretical perspective and possible limitations are highlighted. From the field of economy, the constructions of the classical Keynesian and segmentation theories are considered. After we present the economic sociological approach of social networks and institutional approach. Based on reflections on the potential and limitations of each approach and of the ideas of Bourdieu, an idea for extending the understanding and debate on the term is offered. It is believed that by following this approach it will be possible to extend the debate on the current economic structures. To finish, an outline is made of the how it would be possible to understand the work market in times of mundialization.
Uma análise sobre a inser o profissional de estudantes de administra o no Brasil.

Abstract: Atualmente os estágios representam uma forma de “inser o profissional organizada”, estruturada na convergência dos sistemas educativo e produtivo, em que a escola/universidade já incorpora à forma o aspectos de aprendizado prático, preparando a socializa o para o trabalho. Para compreender como essas transforma es têm se refletido no processo de ingresso no mundo do trabalho, este estudo tem por objetivo analisar a inser o profissional dos estudantes de Administra o a partir da experiência de estágio em Porto Alegre e regi o metropolitana. A pesquisa seguiu uma orienta o construtivista. Foram entrevistados 32 estudantes dos cursos de gradua o em Administra o que relataram suas experiências de estágio, apontando suas implica es para a inser o profissional e suas expectativas de carreira futura. Na análise, nota-se que, apesar do caráter de forma o, o estágio nem sempre representa a etapa inicial do processo de inser o profissional, pois, pelas entrevistas, verifica-se que a primeira experiência profissional dos estudantes nem sempre está relacionada com o curso de forma o e normalmente vincula-se à busca pelo conhecimento do mundo do trabalho ou à independência financeira dos pais. Os estágios tornam-se centrais quando o jovem procura experiência profissional relacionada à sua área de forma o. Nesse momento, nota-se a influência das expectativas individuais, pois, numa forma institucionalizada de inser o e dentro de um mesmo grupo juvenil, devem ser consideradas as diversas trajetórias possíveis. Verifica-se que n o há uma possibilidade única e generalista para compreens o desse processo, pois uma diversidade de caminhos se origina a partir da experiência de estágio, tornando ainda mais complexa a compreens o do conceito de inser o profissional.

Abstract: internships are a form of "organized professional integration", structured at the interface between the educational and productive systems, where the school/university incorporates practical learning aspects within its educational program in order to prepare the socialization for work. in order to understand how these transformations are reflected in the process of joining the labor world, this study aims to analyze the professional integration of management students into the labor market starting from their experiences as interns in porto alegre. a constructivist approach was adopted in the study. interviews were held with 32 students from undergraduate courses in management who reported their experience as interns and highlighting the implications for their professional integration and expectations for a future career. it can be seen from the analysis that, despite their educational characteristics, internships do not always represent the first step towards professional integration, since the interviews reveal that the students' first professional experience is not always related to their graduate course and is normally linked to the search for knowledge of the world of the labor or financial independence from the parents. internships become of central importance, when the young people seek for professional experience related to their educational area. at this point, individual expectations have a notable influence, since in an institutionalized form of integration and within the same group young people various possible paths need to be taken into consideration. it can be seen that there is no single and generalist way of understanding this process, since a number of paths open up as a result of the internship experience, making the concept of professional integration even more difficult to comprehend.

Abstract: Um dos momentos de expressiva mudan a na rela o do indivíduo com o mundo do trabalho está na transi o da juventude para a vida adulta, quando, entre outras modifica es (biológicas, psicológicas e sociais), o ingresso no mercado de trabalho tem papel fundamental como marco de uma nova etapa de vida. Assim, este estudo busca analisar quais representa es sociais que est o presentes nas falas de jovens estudantes de um curso de Administra o no que se refere à sua compreens o do que seja “trabalho”. Para tanto, foram consultados 120 jovens universitários, dos primeiros semestres do curso noturno de Administra o de uma universidade do Sul do Brasil. As respostas sobre “o que é trabalho” e “o que n o é trabalho” foram escritas pelos próprios informantes e analisadas posteriormente, considerando tanto a representatividade com que as respostas ocorreram quanto sua diversidade. De modo geral, nota-se que o trabalho continua a ser compreendido como atividade central que estrutura a vida dos indivíduos e da sociedae em geral, é uma forma de integra o social, prevalecendo sua imagem como um elemento que insere o individuo ao meio, capaz de promover sua realiza o pessoal, profissional e a do sustento financeiro.

Abstract: primary maternal preoccupation (pmp) is a concept winnicottiano and refers to psychological state of the mother, when her sensitivity in relation to her baby becomes exacerbated. this state starts early in pregnancy, extending through the first weeks after birth. the aim of this study is to investigate indicators of pmp in the pregnancy of mothers who had preterm birth babies. four mothers participated in the study. all mothers had clinical problems in pregnancies. their ages were between 22 and 28 years old and all of them were married. the babies did not present serious clinical complications. a collective case-study design was used, based on some categories. content analysis indicated similarities between the cases, showing that the possibility of preterm birth brought more distress to the mothers whom were in process of establishing primary maternal preoccupation. however, observed that with the assimilation of their health condition and pregnancy, participants were able to develop good indicators of this maternal state.

Abstract: the present article discusses the results of surveys about the best companies to work for in brazil, conducted by exame magazine in the years 1997, 1999 and 2000. the researchers identified the 30, 50 and 100 companies which offered in the respective years the most attractive working conditions, based on dimensions which allow an evaluation of the best practices in the human resources area. the items investigated present a close resemblance to walton's (1973) model of quality of working life. the methodology used was characterized as descriptive-exploratory. the data analysis indicates that those organizations whose practices were evaluated positively by their employees in the years 1997 and 1999 propitiated, first of all, a sense of pride in the work and in the company. in the year 2000 the most valued aspects were career opportunities and training. in general terms, we have observed that there has been a reduction in the number of companies which received top grades from their employees, as well as in the number of items positively evaluated.
