Development of conceptual groundwater flow model for Pali Area, India
V Singhal, R Goyal
African Journal of Environmental Science and Technology , 2011,
Abstract: Development of representative conceptual groundwater flow model is an important step before translating it into a numerical model. In this paper, a methodology for development of conceptual groundwater flow model has been presented in which spatially distributed values for groundwater recharge has been utilized instead of lump sum average values of recharge normally obtained by water budgeting method. The study also extensively uses GIS for preprocessing of hydrological, hydrogeological and geological data. In our view, the methodology presented here provides better tools for building a conceptual model for tackling groundwater modeling problems.
Dystonia as presenting manifestation of ataxia telangiectasia : a case report.
Goyal V,Behari M
Neurology India , 2002,
Abstract: Ataxia telangiectasia is a genetically inherited multisystem disorder with predominant feature being telangiectasia and cerebellar ataxia. In this report, a family of three siblings suffering from ataxia telangiectasia is described. The proband presented with dystonia and dystonic myoclonus, both of which are rare presenting features of ataxia telangiectasia.

Aneurysmal bone cyst of the coronoid process of the mandible
Rattan V,Goyal S
Journal of the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry , 2006,
Abstract: A rare case of aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) located in the coronoid process of the mandible in a 12-year-old girl is presented. Treatment consisted of excision of the lesion through preauricular, submandibular and intraoral approach. An access osteotomy distal to second molar region was required to gain access to medial side of the coronoid process. To our knowledge, this is the third case of an aneurysmal bone cyst of the coronoid process of mandible. While examining a patient with a large expansile intrabony jaw cavity with thin peripheral bone, which is filled with blood without presence of bruit, thrills and pulse pressure, the diagnosis of aneurysmal bone cyst should be on top of the differential diagnosis list. Seventy-four to eighty-five percent of aneurysmal bone cysts of jaws occur in 10-20 years age group. Therefore, a pediatric dentist may be the first person to see such a lesion.

Neuromyelitis Optica
Goyal V,Rooru S,Gafoor AS,Sreekala VK
Indian Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation , 2009,
Abstract: Neuromyelitis optica (NMO) is a rare, idiopathic, inflammatory disease affecting the spine andcharacteristically sparing the brain. It mimics multiplesclerosis (MS) in many aspects. A case report of 55 yearold house-maker, with recurrent attacks of flaccidweakness with visual and bladder disturbances who wasadmitted in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation(PMR) ward for neuro-rehabilitation is presented. Herserological studies and magnetic resonance imaging ofthe spine and brain revealed a diagnosis of idiopathicdemyelinating disease affecting the spine – Devic’sdisease.

Abstract: Delayed carpal tunnel syndrome is rare. We describe the electrophysiological findings in a patient with Colle's fracture, who developed carpal tunnel syndrome 22 years after a wrist injury.
Radial Oscillations of Hybrid Stars
V. K. Gupta,Vinita Tuli,Ashok Goyal
Physics , 2002, DOI: 10.1086/341542
Abstract: We study the effect of quark and nuclear matter mixed phase on the radial oscillation modes of neutron stars. For this study we have considered recent models from two classes of equations of state namely the relativistic mean field theoretical models and models based on realistic nucleon-nucleon interactions incorporating relativistic corrections and three body nuclear interactions.
