Abstract This study sought to revisit the two conceptions of art - and reflective teaching - forged over history and his relationship with Brazilian aesthetic thought of resistance. From the 60's, such thinking pedagogy attribute fidelity to art, inserting the critical task of social and human emancipatory politics of participation: In this scenario highlighted the Theatre of the Oppressed, the New Movies and music of protest Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and Milton Nascimento, among others.

Ciência & Saúde Coletiva , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-81232011000700032
Abstract: this study attempts to survey the investigations about the representations of homeopathy on the state of espírito santo scene. the point of departure was an analysis of six studies of the kind, in which the subjects were professionals acting in the area of health and community members. one of the six studies surveyed society as a whole and a second one focused on users of homeopathic medicaments. yet both groups of respondents represented homeopathy as natural or phytotherapic treatment, essentially directed to controlling or curing allergy and other diseases which were classified as minor. as to the health professionals, all studies but one referred to the alopaths. among the alopaths, the ideas expressed by the subjects, pharmacists apart, were identical to those expressed by the community members. viewed as a specialized discipline, homeopathy is a social phenomenon that provokes representations which undergo changes as they circulate in society. our study holds that all misinterpretations about the nature and role of homeopathy detected in the community's responses as well as in the scientific domain, in the state of espírito santo, are historical reminiscences which go back to the time when homeopathy was introduced in brazil and, even today, the contents of homeopathy are still absent in most health courses.

Revista Brasileira em Promo??o da Saúde , 2011,
Abstract: Objectives: To evaluate the significance of the territory of Bonfim as an area of knowledge production for students of the Health Sciences Center, Federal University of Espírito Santo, in Vitória-ES, Brazil. Methods: This study conducted a survey of all the works produced by undergraduate and postgraduate students of the health area from that university who investigated the mentioned territory. The field work resulted in the cataloging of eleven studies that had been characterized in accordance with the subject, the investigated problem; the approaches of the study and the year of its production. These works were distributed in two great thematic axis: studies related to the local management of health system and studiesrelating to child and adolescent health, respectively. Results: Surprisingly, we found out that all the works consisted of studies conducted by nursing graduate students. Conclusions: The non-participation of students from other graduation courses and / or post-graduation of that university, in the generation of knowledge that take account of exploring that reality, points to the need of the university community to cross the imaginary line that separates the academy from real world.

Journal of Power and Energy Engineering (JPEE) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jpee.2018.611003
Abstract: This paper aims to evaluate the diesel oil consumption between 2008 and 2015 in the production of iron ore in Brazil, creating correlations between energy intensity (production), economy and checking the impact of fuel prices on the commodity. During the analyzed period, the years 2008-2009 indicated economic crises, which interfered in the price and the commercialization of iron ore products. The physical intensity was 0.2% higher than the economic intensity. In the period from 2010 to 2014, economic activity remained more stable, with a decreasing trend, mainly due to the increase of iron ore prices. The physical intensity is much higher than the economic intensity influenced by the expansion of the Chinese economy. The year of 2014 indicated the end of the high iron ore price cycle and the beginning of supply and demand stabilization with consequent reduction in prices. In 2015, the market entered the stabilization phase, with a continuous reduction in unit production costs and transportation logistics. There was an abrupt change due to the strong increase of the economic intensity due to the fall of the international prices of iron ore. The diesel oil consumption plays a vital role in the scenario of cost reduction in iron ore production and a deeper analysis must be done in order to discover some options to change the energy matrix.
