Synthesis of Tin Oxide Thick Film and Its Investigation as a LPG Sensor at Room Temperature  [PDF]

Abstract: Present paper reports the synthesis of SnO2, its characterization and performance as Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Sensor. XRD pattern revealed the tetragonal crystalline nature of the material. Crystallites sizes were in the range 14 - 30 nm. Tin oxide thick film was prepared by using screen printing technique. After that these were investigated through SEM. SEM image of thick-film surface was spherical in shape and porous. Further at room temperature, the film was exposed to LPG in a controlled gas chamber and variations in resistance with the concentrations of LPG were observed. The maximum value of average sensitivity of thick film was 37 MΩ/min for 5 vol. % of LPG. Sensor responses as a function of exposure and response times were also estimated and maximum sensor response were found 273 and 312 for 4 and 5 vol. % of LPG respectively.

Abstract: A mathematical model is developed to assist the design engineers by analyzing the vibration response of non-homogeneous orthotropic rectangular plate under exponentially varying thermal condition. Plate thickness varies parabolically in both directions. Using Rayleigh Ritz approach, frequency parameter and two term deflection function is calculated for diverse values of taper constants. For the best comprehension of the vibration analysis, results are depicted graphically.

Abstract: the absence of formal and informal education is increasingly at the core of exclusion; that is why the identification and analysis of the situations with totally or partially block access, continuity, and completion of the mandatory years of schooling prescribed in venezuelan education law is a top-priority issue. the research project found a discontinuity of educational opportunities in the school system, understood as a progressive loss of that system?s mass at each successive stage of education -basic, secondary, and professional. the discontinuity between the second and third stages of basic education is the most serious; only 32 of every 100 students beginning their basic education complete it. it is asserted that this shut-off of opportunities is a key factor in the early exclusion of our adolescents.

Abstract: under the name ?missions?, a set of social programs was implemented in 2003, that has become emblematic of the bolivarian revolution′s policy measures towards the excluded, being at the same time a source of legitimation for the ones in power. the emotional appeal accompanying its execution has been a polarization and segmentation factor among the venezuela society. this essay seeks to systematize and integrate information about the educational missions, following recommendations of public policies analysis and evaluation, considering that sooner or later venezuelans will have to assess this initiative. in that way they will be able to identify the lessons offered and to discard or incorporate them in the design of institutional strategies, favoring quality learning in the education for all

Abstract: En el a o 2003, bajo la nominación de misiones comienza una serie de programas sociales que se han convertido en emblema de la acción gubernamental de la revolución bolivariana hacia los excluidos y han sido fuente de legitimación del grupo dominante en el poder. La emocionalidad que ha acompa ado su ejecución ha actuado como factor de polarización y segmentación en la sociedad venezolana. Abstract: La ausencia de educación formal e informal se anida cada vez más en la esencia de la exclusión; por ello es prioritario el dedicarse a la identificación y el análisis de las situaciones que privan total o parcialmente el acceso, la permanencia y la culminación de los a os de educación obligatoria establecidos en el derecho educativo venezolano. La investigación detectó la discontinuidad de las oportunidades de estudio en la institución escolar, entendida ésta como la pérdida progresiva de tejido escolar en cada grado de la educación básica y media diversificada y profesional. La discontinuidad entre la segunda y tercera etapas de la educación básica es la más grave, pues de cada cien oportunidades que iniciaron la trayectoria escolar, quedan treinta y dos. Se plantea que este cierre de oportunidades es un factor decisivo de la exclusión temprana de nuestros adolescentes. Abstract: We prove the Bisognano-Wichmann and CPT theorems for massive particles obeying braid group statistics in three-dimensional Minkowski space. We start from first principles of local relativistic quantum theory, assuming Poincare covariance and asymptotic completeness. The particle masses must be isolated points in the mass spectra of the corresponding charged sectors, and may only be finitely degenerate.

Abstract: We prove the spin-statistics theorem for massive particles obeying braid group statistics in three-dimensional Minkowski space. We start from first principles of local relativistic quantum theory. The only assumption is a gap in the mass spectrum of the corresponding charged sector, and a restriction on the degeneracy of the corresponding mass.
