Abstract: Under the circumstances of globalization, collaboration between organizations becomes an important topic in the field of strategy management. With an increase of nonprofit organization in scale and number, it has been a new choice that enterprise builds collaborative relationship with nonprofit organization. Considering the different characteristic of two organizations, this paper begins with different motives of collaboration between enterprise and nonprofit organization and then explores many kinds of modes of collaboration. By describing the social embeddedness of organization behavior, this paper sets forth the concept and formation mechanism of collaborative network. Future research on collaboration between enterprise and nonprofit organization would be strengthened in effect and management of collaboration based on network theory.
A New Integral Equation for the Spheroidal Equations in Case of m Equal to 1  [PDF]
Guihua Tian
Advances in Pure Mathematics (APM) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/apm.2014.46030

The spheroidal wave functions are investigated in the case $m = 1$. The integral equation is obtained for them. There are two kinds of eigenvalues in the differential and corresponding integral equations, and the relation between them is given explicitly. This is the great advantage of our integral equation, which will provide useful information through the study of the integral equation. Also an example is given for the special case, which shows another way to study the eigenvalue problem.

Modeling and Control of Equipment Leasing System Based on Hybrid Automaton  [PDF]
Ying Tian
Modern Economy (ME) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/me.2016.73025
Abstract: The large equipment leasing and management is mainly to control the device and use. The equipment leasing is a discrete control variable, but the disturbance input variable (equipment depreciation costs, maintenance costs, transportation costs, storage costs) is continuous. Therefore, the equipment rental system is a typical mixed system to equipment depreciation costs, maintenance costs, transportation costs, storage costs as a system can be measured disturbance input variables, system leasing system output variables, control equipment demand-driven variables, equipment rental system hybrid automata model, using measured data for simulation. The equipment rental system fit automaton model can reach more than 94%, the maximum prediction error hybrid system control of 2%, and it can better control dynamics equipment rental system.
Praises of Household Happiness in Social Turmoil: Lady General Hua Mulan(1964)  [PDF]

Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2016.44008
Abstract: The relationship between film and culture can be seen from the adaptations that historical fiction films make on these original ancient stories or literary works under the influence of concurrent cultural contexts. In other words, these films are always used to reflect and react on the times in which they are made, instead of the past in which they are set. Therefore film makers add abundant up-to-date elements into traditional stories and constantly explore new ways of narration, an effort that turns their productions into live records of certain social and historical periods, combining macro and micro approaches to cultural backgrounds, both audible and visual. Pinning on this new angle of reviewing the old days, this paper aims to uncover the identity crisis of Hong Kong residents under the mutual influence of nostalgia and rebellious ideas in the 1960s reconstructed in the Huangmei Opera film Lady General Hua Mulan (1964) together with the analysis of the social historical reasons hidden behind. The director’s intention to steer a middle course between traditional Chinese culture and British colonial culture is also discussed to show the reaction of film on cultural development.

Communications and Network (CN) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/cn.2017.94020
Big data is becoming a well-known buzzword and in active use in many areas. Because of the velocity, variety, and volume of big data, security and privacy issues are magnified, which results in the traditional protection mechanisms for structured small scale data are inadequate for big data. Sensitivities around big data security and privacy are a hurdle that organizations need to overcome. In this paper, we review the current data security in big data and analysis its feasibilities and obstacles. Besides, we also introduced intelligent analytics to enhance security with the proposed security intelligence model. This research aims to summarize, organize and classify the information available in the literature to identify any gaps in current research and suggest areas for scholars and security researchers for further investigation.

Journal of Service Science and Management (JSSM) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jssm.2018.111005
Abstract: There have been several studies focusing on the impact of supply chain cooperative relationship on performance, which is mainly based on transaction cost theory and the resource-based view theory. Our study deeply analyzes the inner mechanism between supply chain cooperative relationship and its performance from a perspective of knowledge management. We totally collected 136 valid samples in the questionnaire survey. Through the empirical study, we find: 1) Supply chain cooperative relationship has an obviously positive impact on performance; 2) Knowledge sharing is a partial mediator variable between supply chain cooperative relationship and performance; 3) Environmental uncertainty takes a positive regulating effect for supply chain cooperative relationship to promote knowledge sharing between enterprises, but has no obvious effect for the influence of knowledge sharing to performance. According to findings above, our study is aimed to provide some suggestions to Chinese enterprises on a knowledge management perspective.
Research on Interpreting Pedagogy in Multimedia Environment  [PDF]
Lin Tian
Advances in Literary Study (ALS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/als.2018.63013
Abstract: In the present multimedia environment, the traditional teacher-lecturing or information-delivering teaching mode is still frequently adopted, even though the flipped teaching mode has drawn increasing attention from the scholars and teachers. Against this backdrop, a research on the adoption of interpreting pedagogy has been done to see the students’ preference over the traditional and the flipped teaching mode and explore the possible reasons behind this preference. The research findings indicate that the participants favor the flipped interpreting teaching mode more than the traditional lecturing mode, mainly because this can save them more in-class time for interactive interpreting activities and for more tutor’s instructions. Therefore, a mode for flipped interpreting teaching is suggested for further experiment, covering three modules, namely, pre-class online learning, in-class instruction and practice and after-class tasks.

Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2018.68015
Abstract: Verse, frequently seen in Chinese literary works, is a significant component of huaben novels. As a representative masterpiece of vernacular short stories, Sanyan is no exception, and many rhythmical verses have been used and become a prominent feature. The present paper studies the translation of verses in Sanyan by Shuhui Yang and Yunqin Yang from the perspective of Translation as Adaptation and Selection. The study finds that the Yang have made active adaptation to the textual and non-textual eco-environment, which makes it possible for this translational activity to take place. The two translators have also achieved three-dimensional transformation by making adaptive selections. Since the translational eco-environment is dynamic, the strategies or skills adopted by the translators are flexible. All in all, the Yang, while guaranteeing the semantic loyalty to the source verse, tries to reproduce the form and deliver the cultures by adding endnotes so as to realize the communicative purpose.

Lutao Tian
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2018.612015
Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economy, the natural ecological environment has also been damaged. The disasters occur frequently, such as the Wenchuan Earthquake, the Southern Snowstorm and the Mangrove Typhoon, the stampede in Shanghai and the explosion in Tianjin. In this situation, we have to face the problem and deal with the variety of emergencies, because it would make people suffer enormous loss of life and property. Compared with the developed countries in the West, China’s emergency management system started late and the development is not enough. Therefore, our country must take action to construct an emergency management system to guarantee the safety of the development of economy, society and the people in the future. This paper first makes a brief analysis of the current situation and development of China’s emergency management system, and finally puts forward some reasonable suggestions.
