The study was to examine the gender
differences in aggression among Chinese children after playing violent computer
games by using emotional STROOP task. 98 children participated in this study,
with 49 assigned to violent computer game group and the other 49 assigned to
nonviolent computer game group. The results demonstrated that there were
significant differences in main affect of game type, and significant Game Type
× Gender interaction as well. In particular, boys’ aggression was significantly
impacted by violent games, whereas girls’ aggression was not significantly
impacted by violent games. The implication of this research is that, the
significant difference in aggression to gender is activated, and that boys were
more aggressive and sensitive to violent games than girls.
In this paper, we take
the advantage of high frequency data to develop option pricing model and select
the Realized GARCH model to describe the volatility of assets, use NIG
distribution to describe the distribution of underlying assets, and also build
the Realized-GARCH-NIG model to price the option. Finally, we obtain the
dynamic option pricing model based on the Realized-GARCH-NIG approach. To
verify the effect of the dynamic option pricing model based on the
Realized-GARCH- NIG approach, this paper provides the empirical analysis
between the dynamic option pricing model based on the Realized-GARCH-NIG
approach and the B-S option pricing model. The results show that the option
value obtained from the dynamic option pricing model based on the Realized-GARCH-NIG
approach is more accurate and effective than the B-S option pricing model.
In the present paper, we answer the question: for 0 < α < 1 fixed, what are the greatest value p(a) and the least
value q(a) such that the inequality.

The goal of this study was mainly to examine the impact of media violence on aggressive attitude among Chinese adolescents by using a modified STROOP task. 74 adolescents participated in this study, 37 were assigned to violent movie group and 37 were assigned to non-violent movie group. The results showed significant Movie Type and Trait Aggressiveness interaction, and adolescents with high aggressiveness (HA) had a significantly higher aggressive attitude than adolescents with mild aggressiveness (MA) and low aggressiveness (LA) after watching violent movies. Furthermore, the relation between significant Movie Type and Gender interaction was also found, and boys showed a significantly higher aggressive attitude than girls after watching violent movies. This implied that violent movies could effectively affect aggressive attitude for adolescents in China.
