An Improved AOMDV Routing Protocol for Airspace Communication Network  [PDF]

Abstract:
The airspace communication network based on spacecraft has a wide range of applications in regional information enhancement and emergency communication. In this paper, a routing algorithm for congestion degree detection of multipath routing (CD_AOMDV) is proposed. The method of combining the whole congestion degree detection and local congestion degree detection before service initiation is adopted. Timely and accurate judgment of the congestion degree reduced the loss rate of the hot nodes, so the average packet loss rate reduced. Simulation results show that compared with the traditional AOMDV protocol, the CD_AOMDV proposed in this paper has reduced the packet loss and improved delay performance, which is more suitable for the airspace communication network.

Abstract: Aiming at the fracture of the bracket of sanding nozzle of CRH5 EMU bogie, the fatigue strength analysis and modal analysis of the bracket were conducted according to En13749 and BS7608 standards, and the track excitation during the vehicle running was thoroughly analyzed. The cause leading to the fracture of the bracket was found and the bracket was redesigned.
Changes of Children’s Motivation in Physical Education and Physical Activity: A Longitudinal Perspective  [PDF]

Abstract: Children’s motivation towards Physical Education (PE) decreases over the elementary school year, but little is known about how and why those declines influence changes of children’s intention and Physical Activity (PA). Guided by the expectancy-value model, this study attempted to examine the relationship between changes of children’s motivation to changes in children’s intention for future participation in PE and PA over an academic year. Using a repeated measurement technique, 354 (4th 180, 5th 174) school children’s expectancy-related beliefs, task values, intention, and PA were assessed twice over one academic school year. Time 1 was at the beginning of the fall semester, and Time 2 was at the end of the subsequent spring semester. Students’ expectancy-related beliefs and task values were positively related to their intention and PA at both Time 1 and Time 2. A factorial repeated measure MANOVA showed that decreases in task values and intention were significant (p < .01). Regression analyses indicated that decreases in children’s expectancy-related beliefs and task values explained significant variance in a decrease in their intention. Additionally, changes of expectancy-related beliefs emerged as significant predictors of changes in children’s PA. The findings revealed that children perceived less values toward PE across one academic year. Consequently, this change could contribute to the decreases in children’s intention for future participation. Thus, PE teachers should focus on learning activities students perceive as important, interesting, and usefulness in elementary school.


Prediction of Rural Residents’ Consumption Expenditure Based on Lasso and Adaptive Lasso Methods  [PDF]

Abstract: When the variable of model is large, the Lasso method and the Adaptive Lasso method can effectively select variables. This paper prediction the rural residents’ consumption expenditure in China, based on respectively using the Lasso method and the Adaptive Lasso method. The results showed that both can effectively and accurately choose the appropriate variable, but the Adaptive Lasso method is better than the Lasso method in prediction accuracy and prediction error. It shows that in variable selection and parameter estimation, Adaptive Lasso method is better than the Lasso method.

Abstract: The Boussingesq equations was introduced in understanding the coupling nature of the thermodynamics and the fluid dynamics. We show the existence of continuous periodic weak solutions of the Boussinesq equations which satisfies the prescribed kinetic energy or some other prescribed property. Our results represent the conversions between internal energy and mechanical energy.

Abstract: As the primary form of business communication, business letters play an indispensable role in business activities and contribute considerably to the rapid development of international trade and business. Therefore, the translation of business letters seems critical to the successful communication. Business letters are very formal writing and they observe politeness principle strictly in order to maintain and enhance a good rapport with business partners. So the translation of them needs to consider both English and Chinese politeness principles, which are compared in this paper and politeness equivalence in translation is proposed. Some translating methods are suggested as well.

Abstract: The in vitro differentiation features of HPNE cells into neural cells were investigated. In this study, HPNE cells were pre-cultured in defined medium, and then induced by ITS treatment (insulin-transferrinselenium). After a transient ductal stage, HPNE cells present neural cell morphology. A series of neural markers were detected in terminally transformed HPNE cells. During HPNE transdifferentiation, the components of Notch signaling were elaborately modulated. These findings indicate that HPNE cells have the differentiation potential into neural cells.
Material Made of Artificial Molecules and Its Refraction Behavior under Microwave

Abstract: Focal-plane imaging with microwave and millimeter wave has many potential applications. The bad resolution is a main shortcoming of this technique at present. In this paper, influence of frequency of electromagnetic wave on the refractive energy is analyzed. According to the refractive mechanism of electromagnetic induction, the principle for designing artificial materials with enough refractive ability is proposed. The material of artificial molecules is fabricated with cage-shaped granules of conductor (CGC). The refractive index of CGC material to microwave was measured by assembling CGC prism with PS (polystyrene) prism or SGC (solid granule of conductor) prism. The assemblies greatly eliminate displacement of the outgoing microwave caused by diffraction. This is a key point to achieve direct measurement of the refractive index under the microwave. CGC material shows a considerable refractive ability. SGC material and PS show little refractive ability. The results are useful in promoting image technique of microwave and millimeter-wave by improving the refractive ability and eliminating detriment of the diffraction on the lenses.
