Abstract:

The limitation of accounting experimental teaching software leads to the level of teaching falling behind that of practical applications. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to construct an accounting comprehensive experimental platform. It is highly feasible to establish such a platform based on SaaS mode. Furthermore, when developing this platform, some new requirements are proposed to the functional design of the platform.

Abstract:

Based on the analysis of completeness and finiteness of HF molecular vibrational levels, HF systemic vibrational heat capacity is studied with quantum statistical and full set of vibrational energy level determined AM (algebraic method). The results show that correct vibrational description and vibrational energy level set of HF system are key factors in calculating heat capacity, HF heat capacity data determined by AM energy spectra {Eυ} are much superior to the ones of harmonic oscillator model, AM results are agreement with experiment data.

Venturi Wet Gas Flow Modeling Based on Homogeneous and Separated Flow Theory

Abstract: When Venturi meters are used in wet gas, the measured differential pressure is higher than it would be in gas phases flowing alone. This phenomenon is called over-reading. Eight famous over-reading correlations have been studied by many researchers under low- and high-pressure conditions, the conclusion is separated flow model and homogeneous flow model performing well both under high and low pressures. In this study, a new metering method is presented based on homogeneous and separated flow theory; the acceleration pressure drop and the friction pressure drop of Venturi under two-phase flow conditions are considered in new correlation, and its validity is verified through experiment. For low pressure, a new test program has been implemented in Tianjin University’s low-pressure wet gas loop. For high pressure, the National Engineering Laboratory offered their reports on the web, so the coefficients of the new proposed correlation are fitted with all independent data both under high and low pressures. Finally, the applicability and errors of new correlation are analyzed.

Abstract: Prion diseases and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) are characterized by protein misfolding, and can lead to dementia. However, prion diseases are infectious and transmissible, while AD is not. The similarities and differences between these diseases have led researchers to perform comparative studies. In the last 2 decades, progress has been made in immunotherapy using anti-prion protein and anti-β-amyloid antibodies. In this study, we review new ideas and strategies for therapeutic antibodies targeting prion diseases and AD through conformation dependence.

The topological structure of the vortices in the O(n) symmetric TDGL model

Abstract: In the light of $\phi $--mapping method and topological current theory, the topological structure of the vortex state in TDGL model and the topological quantization of the vortex topological charges are investigated. It is pointed out that the topological charges of the vortices in TDGL model are described by the Winding numbers of $\phi $--mapping which are determined in terms of the Hopf indices and the Brouwer degrees of $\phi $--mapping.
Topological phases of two-component bosons in species-dependent artificial gauge potentials

Abstract: We study ultracold bosonic atoms with two internal states in artificial gauge potentials whose strengths are different for the two components. A series of topological phases for such systems is proposed based on the composite fermion theory and parton construction. It is found in exact diagonalization that some of the proposed states may be realized for simple contact interaction between bosons. The ground states and low-energy excitations of these states are modeled using trial wave functions. We also construct effective field theories for these states to reveal their properties.
Stochastic Throughput Optimization for Two-hop Systems with Finite Relay Buffers

Abstract: Optimal queueing control of multi-hop networks remains a challenging problem even in the simplest scenarios. In this paper, we consider a two-hop half-duplex relaying system with random channel connectivity. The relay is equipped with a finite buffer. We focus on stochastic link selection and transmission rate control to maximize the average system throughput subject to a half-duplex constraint. We formulate this stochastic optimization problem as an infinite horizon average cost Markov decision process (MDP), which is well-known to be a difficult problem. By using sample-path analysis and exploiting the specific problem structure, we first obtain an \emph{equivalent Bellman equation} with reduced state and action spaces. By using \emph{relative value iteration algorithm}, we analyze the properties of the value function of the MDP. Then, we show that the optimal policy has a threshold-based structure by characterizing the \emph{supermodularity} in the optimal control. Based on the threshold-based structure and Markov chain theory, we further simplify the original complex stochastic optimization problem to a static optimization problem over a small discrete feasible set and propose a low-complexity algorithm to solve the simplified static optimization problem by making use of its special structure. Furthermore, we obtain the closed-form optimal threshold for the symmetric case. The analytical results obtained in this paper also provide design insights for two-hop relaying systems with multiple relays equipped with finite relay buffers.
