Abstract: the volatile oils from marchantía convoluta were obtained by microwave extraction (me) and phytosol extraction (pe) methods. the attained extracts were analyzed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detector (gc-ms). the compounds were identified according to their retention indices and mass spectra (el, 70 ev). a total of fourteen compounds were identified in me extract accounting for 80.72% of total peak area. isolongifolene (24.588%), 1, 2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, butyl cyclohexyl ester (10.768%), pyrene (9.328%) and hexadecanoic acid, ethyl ester (8.570%) were the major compounds identified from me extract. the analytical results of me extract were compared with pe method. the me extract was found to be markedly different from that of pe extract. a total of seven compounds in pe extract were identified accounting for 74.275% total peak area. 1-phenanthrenecarboxylic acid, 1,2,3,4,4a,9,10, 10a-octahydro-1, 4a-dimethyl-7-(1-methylethyl) methyl ester were the major compounds
The second-order dynamic phase transition and Lee--Yang zeros in Eggers urn model

Abstract: A second-order dynamic phase transition in a non-equilibrium Eggers urn model for the separation of sand is studied. The order parameter, the susceptibility and the stationary probability distribution have been calculated. By applying the Lee--Yang zeros method of equilibrium phase transitions, we study the distributions of the effective partition function zeros and obtain the same result for the model. Thus, the Lee--Yang theory can be applied to a more general non-equilibrium system.

Abstract: By using the concept of concurrence, we numerically investigate the thermal entanglement between any two nearest-neighbour spins in uniform and periodic anisotropic XY chains in a transverse field at finite temperature T. It is found that the entanglement has more than one critical temperatures on some parameter regions for uniform and periodic chains. We also discuss the behaviour of the thermal entanglement at the vicinity of quantum phase transition of periodic anisotropic XY chains and find that a11 the derivatives aλC have similar behaviour as that of the uniform chain.
Extraction of Plumes in Turbulent Thermal Convection

Abstract: We present a scheme to extract information about plumes, a prominent coherent structure in turbulent thermal convection, from simultaneous local velocity and temperature measurements. Using this scheme, we study the temperature dependence of the plume velocity and understand the results using the equations of motion. We further obtain the average local heat flux in the vertical direction at the cell center. Our result shows that heat is not mainly transported through the central region but instead through the regions near the sidewalls of the convection cell.
A Setting-platen Experimental Method on SHPB System for High-strength Materials

Abstract: An improved experimental method, so called setting-platen method, on Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar system for high-strength materials is presented. The reasonableness and feasibility of the improved SHPB method are analyzed by numerical simulation using the finite element code LS-LYNA3D. According to the theory of one-dimensional stress wave, the modification method on data handling is given. As an instance, the dynamic mechanical property of high-strength Al_2O_3 ceramics is investigated using the improved technique of SHPB. The dynamic stress-strain curves are obtained in the range of higher strain rates and higher stress and strain than that by using the conventional SHPB method. It is shown that Al_2O_3 ceramic is a nonlinear elastic-brittle material and sensitive to strain-rate. It is indicated that the deformation and damage of the bar ends can be prevented effectively by using setting-platen method and the stress, strain and strain rate of specimen can be improved so as to meet the demand of research. The setting-platen method affords a special and feasible way to perform high strain rate dynamic tests on high-strength materials by SHPB technology.
Coevolution of Axon Guidance Molecule Slit and Its Receptor Robo

Abstract: Coevolution is important for the maintenance of the interaction between a ligand and its receptor during evolution. The interaction between axon guidance molecule Slit and its receptor Robo is critical for the axon repulsion in neural tissues, which is evolutionarily conserved from planarians to humans. However, the mechanism of coevolution between Slit and Robo remains unclear. In this study, we found that coordinated amino acid changes took place at interacting sites of Slit and Robo by comparing the amino acids at these sites among different organisms. In addition, the high level correlation between evolutionary rate of Slit and Robo was identified in vertebrates. Furthermore, the sites under positive selection of slit and robo were detected in the same lineage such as mosquito and teleost. Overall, our results provide evidence for the coevolution between Slit and Robo.

Abstract: 研究了茶鲜叶匀浆悬浮发酵过程的代谢变化规律及其工艺调控。结果表明,悬浮发酵中多酚氧化酶活性虽明显受抑,但仍可完成正常酶促氧化作用;工艺监测参数如氧化还原电位、溶解氧浓度、摄氧率及茶汤总色度的变化与发酵体系中的底物消耗及产物形成间存在密切关系;提高供氧水平和添加有机溶剂A可明显促进多酚氧化产物茶黄素的形成;高悬浮液浓度限制发酵的主要原因是供氧不足,而分批补料发酵方式能缓解供氧矛盾。

Abstract: Tunneling experiment is a key technique for detecting Majorana fermion in solid state systems. We use Keldysh non-equilibrium Green function method to study multi-lead tunneling in superconducting nanowire with Rashba and Dresselhaus spin-orbit couplings. A zero-bias \textit{dc} conductance peak appears in our setup which signifies the existence of Majorana fermion and is in accordance with previous experimental results on InSb nanowire. Interestingly, due to the exotic property of Majorana fermion, there exists a hole transmission channel which makes the currents asymmetric at the left and right leads. The \textit{ac} current response mediated by Majorana fermion is also studied here. To discuss the impacts of Coulomb interaction and disorder on the transport property of Majorana nanowire, we use the renormalization group method to study the phase diagram of the wire. It is found that there is a topological phase transition under the interplay of superconductivity and disorder. We find that the Majorana transport is preserved in the superconducting-dominated topological phase and destroyed in the disorder-dominated non-topological insulator phase.
