Abstract: 中国近岸水体泥沙含量较高,且变化梯度大;泥沙浓度可从几千mg/l变化到1mg/l以下。针对上述浑浊二类水体的大气修正一直是水色遥感应用的难点之一。利用水体近红外固有光学特性的Arnone光谱迭代算法在泥沙含量较低时适用,其近红外光谱迭代关系与根据2003年春季黄东海水色试验数据得出的现场光谱关系大致相当。当泥沙含量达到某一程度时,该算法失效,导致蓝光等较短波段的离水辐亮度为负。根据现场数据分析结果,这一分界点大概在泥沙浓度10—20mg/l。因此,本文首次提出将中国近岸浑浊水体进一步区分为中低和中高浑浊水体,并给出初步的划分标准,采用光谱优化方法对中高浑浊水体进行水色大气修正。优化误差函数的选取以现场试验获取的可见光波段光谱关系式为基础。结果表明,优化算法在近岸高浑浊水体可给出满足光谱分布规律的反演结果。与其他大气校正方法一样,优化方法也需要进一步的微调。将Gordon标准算法、Arnone光谱迭代和优化方法结合,对SeaWiFS图像进行处理,分别得出归一化离水辐亮度和总悬浮物(TSM)浓度分布图像,结果令人满意。
Analysis of petroleum-polluted water absorption spectral properties

Abstract: Petroleum pollutions exist in waters in various forms, which impacts its apparent optical properties and inherent optical properties. Field works has been carried out in the rivers in Panjin city, Liaoning province of China in May 2008 in order to understand this impact. The absorption coefficient data of yellow substance, De-pigment particles and phytoplankton pigments and the corresponding water samples for laboratory measurements of chlorophyll, petroleum pollutions, and suspended material were collected. Firstly, absorption spectral features of yellow substance, De-pigment particles and phytoplankton pigments in Case II water were analyzed. Secondly, the absorption spectral properties of yellow substance and phytoplankton pigments with petroleum pollutions were discussed. Finally, the impact of petroleum pollutions on water absorption properties was analyzed using the method of algebraic difference. The results showed that (1) whether there is petroleum substance or not in water body, the absorption spectra of yellow substance and de-pigment particles all follow e-exponential attenuation trend in the research region; (2) with the presence of petroleum pollution, the absorption coefficients of yellow substance and phytoplankton pigments are both increased; (3) the absorption spectral feature of petroleum pollution appears similar to those of the yellow substance and de-pigment particles by following an e-exponential attenuation trend. However, it is feasible to distinguish them because their spectral exponential slopes have obvious difference.

Abstract: TheHY-1 satellite is the firstsatellite for remote sensing ofocean environment in China. Because there isno onboard calibration facility and the coefficientofChineseOceanColor&Temperature Scanner(COCTS) hasbeen drifting, calibrations and correctionsmustbe carried out continually. One of the calibration methods is described in this paper. The Sea-viewingW ide Field-of-view Scanner(SeaW iFS) supplies highly accurate ocean color satellite data acknowleged internationally, its data for case Iwater, such aswater-leaving radiance and chlorophyll concentration, etc., is regarded as the standard by international fields on remote sensing of ocean color. Therefore, we can adopt the calibrate COCTS continually by the normalizedwater-leaving radiance and aerosolparameters derived from SeaW iFS. Thismethod can also be used tomonitor the long-term charge of calibration coefficientofCOCTS. Our results indicate that the accuracy of the data retrieved from COCTS can be greatly mi proved after the cross-calibration.

Abstract:

This paper presents the design and fabrication of an ultra-thin and flexible electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield that is capable of rejecting multiple unwanted frequencies. The design starts with the equivalent circuit model of periodic concentric rings to determine the initial geometrical dimensions of the rings efficiently. Then it followed by full-wave electromagnetic simulation to fine-tune the final dimensions for the desired frequency response. Impacts of various geometrical designs on the EMI shielding performance of the concentric ring design are analyzed and discussed. With these results, an ultra-thin and flexible EMI shield is fabricated using the screen printing technique. Finally, its multi-band rejection performance is validated experimentally. Good correlation between measurement and simulation is demonstrated in this paper.

Abstract: The HY-1 satellite is the first satellite for remote sensing of ocean environment in China and COCTS is one of the main sensor.Striping noise is unavoidable for most data of the COCTS because each detector's response to radiant signal is different.The striping noise can seriously affects the quality of image and quantitative application of COCTS data.In order to decrease this effect we try to remove these stripes in COCTS images using moment matching correction and histogram matching correction in this paper.The final results indicate these two methods are both effective,but considering the overall effect,the histogram matching correction is better.The result of this study is also applicable in striping removal of other multisensor's remote sensing data.

Abstract: 水色遥感的基础之一是水体光谱特征测量与分析。水体光谱特性包括两个方面 :表观光学特性(AOPs)和固有光学特征 (IOPs)。该文主要讨论与水色遥感基本参数直接相关的表观光学量的测量与分析。现场表观光谱的测量从方法上可分为两类 :剖面测量法和水表面以上测量法。两种方法相对独立 ,适用范围上具有互补性。该文主要针对水面以上测量法进行讨论。水色遥感一般要求表观光谱特性的测量必须能够导出离水辐射率LW、归一化离水辐射率LWN、遥感反射率Rrs、和刚好处于水面以下 0 -深度的辐照度比R等。国际上有关水色的测量规范中 ,仅有针对大洋一类水体的。中国的近岸水体和湖水绝大部分是二类水体 ,因此该文也将对二类水体光谱测量的有关参数化问题进行讨论。同时 ,对数据分析处理中的一些关键参数的确定 ,提出新方法

Abstract: It is generally recognized that Case 2 waters are more complex than Case 1 waters in their composition and optical properties. The standard algorithms (usually band ratio) in use today for chlorophyll retrieval from spectral data break down in Case 2 waters. Hyperspectral ocean color sensing may be necessary for Case 2 waters' constituents retrieval. However, hyperspectral data are usually highly correlated and statistical algorithms such as principal component inversion have been employed in ocean color sensing. In the present paper the principle, algorithm and advantage of another statistical algorithm-partial least squares regression (PLS) are briefly described. Then PLS is applied to the retrieval of oceanic color constituents from China Yellow Sea and South China Sea field reflectances, which are typical of Case 2 waters. Cross-validation of PLS analysis shows that the retrieval accuracy is good and the predicted relative error of chlorophyll-a is less than 37% . In order to check the robusticity of the PLS inversion model, PLS is also applied to the retrieval of oceanic color constituents from computed reflectances to which 5% noise is added randomly. The cross-validation results of PLS analysis on simulated data show that the model is robust and the predicted relative error of the three components (chlorophyll-a, Total Suspended Matter and Yellow Substance) is less than 5%. Pre-processing of data is essential for the constituents' concentration ranging over several magnitudes. As an empirical algorithm, the training data set for PLS should be typical that the data points distribute uniformly in the concentration range. It is suggested that PLS be suitable for the regression problems which have a few observations but a lot of spectra variables, e. g. the retrieval of oceanic color constituents from Case 2 water reflectance.
Human erythroid progenitors from adult bone marrow and cord blood in optimized liquid culture systems respectively maintained adult and neonatal characteristics of globin gene expression

Abstract: in vitro suspension culture procedures for erythroid progenitor cells make it possible for us to obtain large cultures of erythrocyte populations for the investigation of globin gene switching. in this study we aimed to establish optimized culture systems for neonatal and adult erythroblasts and to explore the globin expression patterns in these culture systems. to culture cd34+ cells purified from human umbilical cord blood (cb) and adult bone marrow (bm), we respectively replaced the fetal bovine serum (fbs) with human cord serum and human adult serum. these cd34+ cells were then induced to erythroid differentiation. all the globin mrna (including á-, ξ-, β-, γ-and ε-globin), the hemoglobin (hb)-producing erythroid cells and the cellular distribution of fetal hemoglobin (hb f) were identified during the culture process. the results showed that the globin expression pattern during erythroid differentiation in our culture systems closely recapitulated neonatal and adult patterns of globin expression in vivo, suggesting that our specially optimized culture systems not only overcame the higher hb f levels in the bm-derived cd34+ culture in fbs-containing medium but also eliminated the disadvantages of low cell proliferation rate and low globin mrna levels in serum-free medium
