Abstract: The theme of the restoration of the Royal Sculpture Collection carried out following the fire in the Madrid Alcázar is totally lacking in bibliographic antecedents. In this article the author demonstrates how the high esteem in which the Spanish Monarchy held its collections and the interventions of the sculptors in its service played an outstanding role in the conservation and restoration of this Patrimony. The first efforts undertaken by the sculptor Alfonso de Grana, some of the pieces restored by him and his criteria for restoration are examined and confronted with those of the sculptors Felipe de Castro and Olivieri.
Tárraga Baldó, M.a Luisa
Archivo Espa?ol de Arte , 2009,
Abstract: The author demonstrates the eminently national character of the marble decorations of the Madrid Royal Palace, resulting from the personal initiative of the Bourbons. This meant the reconnaissance and exhaustive exploitation of national quarries during the 18th century, as well as the search for marble masons to execute this ornamentation. It was also necessary to create and organize the Royal Marble Workshop, in which much of the work was carried out, not only for the Madrid Palace but also for other Palaces in the Reales Sitios, religious buildings and even private individuals. Other aspects here disclosed include the first, unpublished project for the Casamiento de Mármoles (matching of marbles) devised by the architect Juan Bautista Saqueti to decorate the Palace, the origin and variety of the chosen materials and the criteria followed in this selection. All was put into practice obeying and satisfying royal desires.

WPOM : Working Papers on Operations Management , 2011, DOI: 10.4995/wpom.v2i2.847
(The High Involvement Work Practices (or High Performance Work Practices) are a set of human resource management practices that act synergistically to improve organizational efficiency, creating work conditions that increase the satisfaction of the employee, encourage them to link with the Organization and to better carry out its tasks (Huselid, 1995). On the basis of this approach, and applying a purely instrumental point of view, many researchers have raised the following question: There is relationship between the implementation of the High Involvement Work Practices and firm performance?. The meta-analysis done by Combs (2006) provides consistent evidence of this relationship, after evaluating the results of 92 researches in this regard. Framed in this approach, the aim of this paper is double: To identify what indicators have been used in the last decade to evaluate the relationship between the High Involvement Work Practices and firm performance. To identify, in the case of the use of financial indicators, which are the most commonly used.)

Its prevalence in HIV patients varied from 2% to 5% in most of the times. Objective of this study was to describe the demographic, clinical and therapeutic characteristics of psoriasis patients infected with HIV. Methods: It is a descriptive retrospective study done from January 2003 to December 2013 based on the information from the hospital card of hospitalized patients and outpatients taken care in the department of Dermatology-STD for psoriasis at the University hospital center in Donka Conakry. We included all the cases of psoriasis associated with HIV infection diagnosed from clinical and paraclinical elements. Results: We recorded 23 (24.73%) cases of psoriasis associated with HIV infection among 93 patients observed for psoriasis in which there are 4 cases of psoriasis vulgaris, 10 cases of erythrodermic psoriasis and 9 cases of arthropathic form among these numbers. We had 7 women and 16 men. The medium age of our patients was 44.5 ± 12 years [27 - 62 years]. The delayed duration time of consultation varied from 30 to more than 180 days. The psoriasis was the circumstance of the discovery of the HIV infection among 55% of cases. Abstract: Malaria is much more common in pregnant women, especially during the third trimester of pregnancy, causing congenital infestation. Acute and severe complications are noted, including malignant malaria access and maternal and fetal mortality. Method: This was a three-month descriptive and analytical multicenter study, running from 1st January to 31st March 2015, conducted in 16 maternity hospitals at different levels of the health system pyramid. Results: Out of a total of 1772 mothers recruited for this study, 276 cases were tested positive (umbilical cordon and newborn’s heel). Among them, we reported 130 cases tested positive at newborn’s heel with congenital infestation confirmed by sampling on day 0, with a frequency of 7.3%. The average age of the mothers was 26 ± 14 years. With a predominance in the 20 - 35 age group (4.7%). Among mothers who were not exposed to preventive intermittent sulfadoxine pyrimethamine (IPT/SP) in malaria prevention, 6.1% of newborns tested positive. Of these, mothers who had less than 4 prenatal visits during pregnancy had a congenital malaria rate of 7.3%. Conclusion: Congenital malaria infestation exists in newborns despite adequate measures used
