Scale Effect Analysis of Driving Forces of Land-use Patterns in Longhai City of Fujian Province

Abstract: 土地利用在不同的规模尺度上具有不同的特征,某个研究尺度上的影响因子可能在其它尺度上并不发生作用。论文运用统计方法与GIS技术从自然环境、社会经济以及基础设施条件各方面分析福建省龙海市土地利用空间分布影响因素及其尺度效应。综合考虑9种主要的土地利用方式和23个候选影响因子,其中土地利用数据来自2000年11∶0 000土地利用详查数据,地形数据来自15∶0 000DEM,而社会经济统计数据如人口分布来自以乡镇为统计单元的统计年鉴,因此必须根据其空间分布与影响因子的关系进行空间化处理。采用的基本研究单元为100m×100m,在此基础上生成200m×200m,300m×300m~2 000m×2 000m多个空间尺度序列数据图层。通过分别构建不同聚合规模上的土地利用空间分布驱动模型,探讨了福建省龙海市土地利用空间分布影响因子的尺度规模效应。研究表明,不仅模型的解释能力会随聚合规模发生变化,影响因子本身及其影响系数也随研究尺度发生不同程度的变化,呈现出显著的尺度依赖性规律。龙海市主要地类受坡度、海拔高程等地形条件的严格限制,而地形因素是不容易随时间发生改变的,因此自然条件优越的地区适合多种用地类型,因而将是用地矛盾的焦点。
Cell mapping description for digital control system with quantization effect

Abstract: Quantization problem in digital control system have attracted more and more attention in these years. Normally, a quantized variable is regarded as a perturbed copy of the unquantized variable in the research of quantization effect, but this model has shown many obvious disadvantages in control system analysis and design process. In this paper, we give a new model for quantization based 'cell mapping' concept. This cell model could clearly describe the global dynamics of quantized digital system. Then some important characteristics of control system like controllability are analyzed by this model. The finite precision control design method based on cell concept is also presented.

Abstract:

Clinical data analysis is of fundamental importance, as classifications and detailed characterizations of diseases help physicians decide suitable management for patients, individually. In our study, we adopt diffusion maps to embed the data into corresponding lower dimensional representation, which integrate the information of potentially nonlinear progressions of the diseases. To deal with nonuniformaity of the data, we also consider an alternative distance measure based on the estimated local density. Performance of this modification is assessed using artificially generated data. Another clinical dataset that comprises metabolite concentrations measured with magnetic resonance spectroscopy was also classified. The algorithm shows improved results compared with conventional Euclidean distance measure.

Abstract: The organic infrared semiconductor ErPc2 prepared by solid phase reaction method has been doped with iodine, the resistivity of ErPc2 has been successfully decreased by about three orders of magnitude by doping. The R-T relationships for intrinsic and iodine doped ErPc2 have been studied, it is found that compared with intrinsic ErPc2, the doped ErPc2 has a remarkable decrease in resistivity, the relationship between resistance and temperature for the doped ErPc2 has not been changed intrinsically, both intrinsic and doped ErPc2 exhibit an exponential dependence of R-T. It is also found that the heat activation energy (Ea) has been effectively reduced by doping, which leads to more carriers that may take part in conducting electricity for ErPc2. The decrease in pre-exponential factor (A) may also contribute to reducing resistivity of ErPc2. The exponential relationship between I and V under a strong electrical field strength has also been explained for the intrinsic organic infrared semiconductor ErPc2.

Abstract: 根据加压改进布里奇曼法 ,采用“二次配料”工艺成功地生长了直径 40 mm的大直径 Hg Cd Te (组分 x≈0 .2 0 )晶体 .采用加压技术 ,平衡部分石英安瓶内的高汞蒸汽压 ,有效地避免了石英安瓶的爆裂 ;采用“二次配料”工艺 ,大大降低了生长温度 ;合理选择温度梯度和生长速度 ,获得了有较好结晶性和组分均匀性的 Hg Cd Te晶体 .分析表明 :Hg Cd Te晶片的载流子浓度 n77≤ 4× 10 1 4 cm- 3 ,迁移率 μ77≥ 1× 10 5 cm2 /(V· s) ,少数载流子寿命值 τ≥ 2 .0 μs,80 K时简单的性能测试用光导探测器件的探测率 D*为 1.1× 10 1 0 cm· Hz1 /2 /W.
Gabapentin for complex regional pain syndrome in Machado-Joseph disease: a case report

Abstract: A 29-year-old man (Han Chinese, Hoklo) with Machado-Joseph disease experienced severe chronic pain in both feet, cutaneous thermal change, thermal hypersensitivity, focal edema, and sweating and had a history of bone fracture. These symptoms were compatible with a diagnosis of complex regional pain syndrome. After common analgesics failed to relieve his pain, gabapentin was added and titrated to 2000 mg/day (500 mg every six hours) in less than two weeks. This relieved 40% of his pain and led to significant clinical improvement.The pathophysiology of complex regional pain syndrome includes peripheral and central sensitizations, the latter of which might be associated with the neurodegeneration in Machado-Joseph disease. In this report, we suggest that gabapentin could inhibit central sensitization as an adjunct for complex regional pain syndrome in patients with Machado-Joseph disease.Machado-Joseph disease (MJD), also called spinocerebellar ataxia type 3, is the most common subtype of spinocerebellar ataxias worldwide and is caused by a CAG trinucleotide repeat expansion in the coding region of the MJD1 gene. The main features of MJD are ataxia and ophthalmoparesis and pyramidal, extrapyramidal, and amyotrophic signs [1]. Chronic pain is one of the most disabling symptoms of MJD. Nearly 80% of the chronic pain in MJD has been reported to be of musculoskeletal origin [2]. To the best of our knowledge, no previous case report has mentioned complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) in patients with MJD. In the case reported here, a patient with MJD experienced symptoms of CRPS, which were relieved by gabapentin.A 29-year-old man (Han Chinese, Hoklo) with a diagnosis of MJD and CAG repeat numbers of 14 and 70 in the MJD1 gene had been confined to a wheelchair for three years. Abstract: To reduce human injury severity through improved automobile design and designing protection devices, the dynamic response and injury of occupants in collisions must be analyzed. This study investigates frontal and rear-end collisions using the MSC/DYTRAN finite element code. The dynamic response of the human body to crashes is discussed. Additionally, the head and neck injuries of car occupants are simulated. The simulated results obtained here have potential for evaluating vehicle crash safety and guiding the future development of safety technologies.
