Abstract: this article brings to the fore the issue of memory as social practice. it focuses on the many historically constituted ways of thinking and speaking about memory. it looks for the understanding of the collective modes of elaboration of memory, searching for signs or marks of this constitution at the level of the individual and inquiring about the discursive dimension and the status of language in this constitution.

Abstract: in the present paper we aim at bringing the issue of internalization/appropriation again into discussion, exploring possibilities and limits of such terms, departing from an analysis of the notions historically condensed and stabilized in such words, and commenting on the ways they merge in the cultural-historical perspective. we focus on some inherent contradictions which provoke theoretical difficulties and require conceptual refinement. we show how internalization/appropriation has usually implied the notions of accomplishment and adequacy in the incorporation of social practices, being inevitably positively oriented. we analyze how the (im)proper and the (im)pertinent - hence, the inappropriate - in such practices might be seen as locus of resistance, mobility and change, arguing for the need of considering appropriation as an essentially relational category.

Abstract: Nosso objetivo, neste trabalho, é discutir um certo modo de conceber e elaborar teoricamente a quest o da apropria o das práticas sociais, n o estritamente ligada ao construto de internaliza o, mas relacionada principalmente ao problema da significa o. Abstract: this text presents an analytical comparative study of two journals published for teachers in elementary education. it focuses more specifically on two issues whose cover matter was violence, through three selected texts related to this problem. through these analyzes, it attempts to turn visible some conditions of production that characterize both the journals and the texts - the historical social context, the material support, the positions and images of interlocutors - and discusses how such conditions of production are constitutive of authorship as well as of the modes of thematic presentation.

Abstract: the inquiries leading us to write this text have their origin in some epistemological issues associated with the (inter)relation between knowledge and reality. while having an investigative approach, we discuss the construction of knowledge by focusing on two different theoretical suppositions. being a part of a line of study that is regarded as a philosophy of rupture, we describe the presuppositions of the french epistemologist gaston bachelard, a philosopher of science who stands out in the discussions about the epistemology of science. according to another field of investigation considered to be systemic and based on interactive approach, we lay out the main fundamentals of the work of lev vigotski, a russian researcher who focused his study on the psychology of human development. in this study, we discuss the approaches used by bachelard and vigotski to understand the construction of knowledge and the relations between everyday knowledge and scientific knowledge while seeking to analyze the implications from these different types of understanding for teaching.

Abstract: this paper approaches the issue of cooperation activities carried out by technology-based firms (tbfs). drawing on a database built from a survey including 100 brazilian tbfs, we argue that among these firms the practice of cooperation is quite restricted, too concentrated on relationships with universities, and reflects a low density networking. such circumstances clearly hinder the innovative performance of brazilian tbfs, thus undermining their competitiveness as a whole in the long run.
Participación de los actores políticosy sociales en la frontera Táchira-Nortede Santander y en la integración andina

Abstract: El propósito de este trabajo es presentar algunas hipótesis acerca de las particularidades que la integración regional andina adquiere en las fronteras donde tiende a confundirse con la integración fronteriza o vecinal. También se expone la aceptación que la experiencia de integración andina tiene en la frontera de Táchira y Norte de Santander entre Colombia y Venezuela, los dos países más activos de la Comunidad Andina. Además se persigue explicar el aparente rechazo de los actores sociales y políticos de la frontera hacia la integración regional, a partir de la última década del siglo XX. El trabajo es el resultado de consultas bibliohemerográficas, observación directa y entrevistas a representantes políticos y sociales de cada lado de la frontera. Consta de cinco partes en las cuales se ubica geográficamente la zona en estudio, se presenta una aproximación teórica sobre actores políticos y sociales, sus percepciones respecto a la integración regional y fronteriza, los actores proclives a una opinión favorable o contraria a la integración y finalmente se discuten algunas razones a la aparentemente tradicional aceptación de la integración regional y las recientes posiciones de recelo ante la misma en esta frontera.
