Abstract: objetivo. descrever a prática educativa dos enfermeiros que atuam na estratégia saúde da família (esf). metodologia. estudo qualitativo realizado em 2010. fizeram-se entrevistas semi-estruturadas sobre as vivências cotidianas de 20 enfermeiros que laboravam com a esf na 10a regional de saúde do paraná, brasil. resultados. todos os enfermeiros atribuem grande importancia à educa??o em saúde, a qual se realiza em forma cotidiana. a nível individual, destacaram-se as orienta??es em puericultura, enquanto no ambito coletivo foram mais frequentes as atividades educativas grupais -gestantes, hipertensos e fumantes-. em alguns relatos se apreciou que a avalia??o das necessidades educativas da popula??o foi feita sem a participa??o efetiva da comunidade. conclus?o. a prática de esf deve ser reorientada à promo??o e preven??o em saúde, tentando a ativa participa??o da família e da comunidade em general, fortalecendo novas fórmulas sobre pensar e fazer em saúde.

Abstract: the study aimed to identify the meaning of health education for the nurses of the family health strategy program (esf) and the individual and collective educational actions developed by them. in the research took part 20 nurses who work in the esf program within the 10th regional of health of paraná state. this is a descriptive-exploratory study with qualitative approach. data were collected in april 2010 through semi-structured recorded interviews, and submitted to the analysis of its categorical content. results point to two categories: unveiling of the meaning of health education under the nurses' view; and the educational praxis in the quotidian of the nurses. it is concluded that there is a need of clarifying the objectives of esf related to health education to the professionals, and to establish a training process and permanent education so that it becomes effective propitiating prevention of diseases and promoting health to the population.

Abstract: Objetivo. Describir la práctica educativa de los enfermeros que actúan con la Estrategia de Salud de la Familia (ESF). Metodología. Estudio cualitativo realizado en 2010. Se hicieron entrevistas semiestructuradas sobre las vivencias cotidianas de 20 enfermeros que laboraban en la ESF en la 10a Regional de Salud del Paraná, Brasil. Resultados. Todos los enfermeros atribuyen gran importancia a la educación en salud, la cual realizan en forma cotidiana. Individualmente, se destacaron las orientaciones en puericultura, mientras que en el ámbito colectivo fueron más frecuentes las actividades educativas grupales -gestantes, hipertensos y fumadores-. En algunos relatos se apreció que la evaluación de las necesidades educativas de la población, se realizó sin participación efectiva de la comunidad. Conclusión. La práctica de ESF debe ser reorientada a la promoción y prevención en salud, procurando la activa participación de la família y de la comunidad en general, fortaleciendo nuevas fórmulas sobre pensar y hacer en salud. Trabalho educativo do enfermeiro na Estratégia Saúde da Família: dificuldades e perspectivas de mudan?as

Abstract: the objective of this study was to understand the difficulties and perspectives on change that nurses have identified in developing educational interventions in the family health strategy (fhs). this is a qualitative, descriptive-exploratory study. the data were collected with 20 nurses working in the fhs of the 10th regional health district of paraná, by means of semi-structured interviews carried out in april 2010, which were subjected to content analysis. the results demonstrated that nurses face difficulties in developing health education strategies with the clients, healthcare team, and administrators, especially in regards to the lack of physical, material and financial resources. however, based on the difficulties they encounter, they seek alternatives to overcome them and suggest changes aimed at improving the delivery of primary health care to the population, particularly regarding educational practices.
A es educativas durante a assistência pré-natal: percep o de gestantes atendidas na rede básica de Maringá-PR

Abstract: A dimens o educativa é parte integrante e inovadora na assistência pré-natal. Desta forma o estudo objetivou conhecer a percep o de gestantes usuárias da rede básica de saúde de Maringá/PR sobre educa o em saúde e como ela ocorre. Estudo de natureza qualitativa, do qual participaram 25 gestantes de cinco unidades básicas de saúde do município. Os dados foram coletados em novembro de 2009, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Os resultados demonstraram que, das mulheres em estudo, grande parte delas conhecem e identificam as a es de educa o em saúde realizadas pelos profissionais. De forma geral atribuem grande importancia a estas a es, principalmente para a preven o de doen as e agravos durante a gesta o e também para aprender sobre os cuidados com o bebê após o parto. Concluiu-se que ainda existe uma lacuna no que concerne às a es educativas direcionadas a assistência pré-natal na aten o primária à saúde.

Abstract: the objective of the present study was to discover and understand the experience of mothers faced with the diagnosis and birth of babies with malformation. it was a descriptive-exploratory qualitative research study, performed with seven mothers in maringá-pr, brazil. data were collected in april 2009 through previously scheduled semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using content analysis. the data showed that the different moments of the pregnancy-puerperium cycle involve various facts and emotions, which are nevertheless interconnected, including confirmation of malformation (usually during pregnancy), confirmed diagnosis at birth, and life with the baby after birth. it is concluded that the discovery and confirmation of malformation leads to crisis and denial of expectations in the mother and all family members, resulting in changes in their way of life. however, the mother gradually overcomes and learns ways to cope with the problem and prejudices associated with malformation.

Abstract: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar la perspectiva de los enfermeros en la educación para la salud y explorar la forma en que está concebido, planificado, ejecutado y evaluado en la Estrategia de Salud de la Familia. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo. Se recolectaron datos de 20 enfermeros en el décimo centro de Salud Regional de Paraná, a través de entrevistas, en abril de 2010 y sometido a análisis de contenido. Los resultados muestran que las enfermeras, en el desarrollo de la educación en salud, se enfrentan a muchas barreras que están relacionados, sobre todo, con la ausencia de tendencias sistemáticas y la educación pedagógica de la educación académica. Llegamos a la conclusión de que, a pesar de estos obstáculos, las enfermeras deben ser alentados a buscar el conocimiento acerca de la planificación, ejecución y evaluación de actividades educativas, y desarrollarlas con el fin de mejorar las condiciones de vida y promover la salud de la población en marco de la Estrategia Salud de la Familia.
Prolonged acetylcholinesterase inhibition and impairment in object recognition memory in rats subjected to chronic hyperprolinemia

Abstract: Previous studies show that hyperprolinemia impairs spatial memory. Rats received subcutaneous injections of proline (Pro) twice a day at 10 hours intervals from the 6th to the 28th days of age and equivalent volume of 0.9% saline solution (control). The animals were killed 3 hours, 12 hours, or 30 days after the last injection by decapitation without anesthesia to determine acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity or the animals remained at the animal facility until the 60th day of life to assess the effect of Pro administration on non-spatial memory. Results showed that rats subjected to experimental chronic administration of Pro present a significant non-spatial memory deficit (short- and long-term memory). Prolonged alterations in AChE activity were observed in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex of rats subjected to Pro administration. Data indicate that chronic hyperprolinemia alters AChE activity, interfering in acetylcholine levels, which could participate in inducing the memory deficit observed in hyperprolininemic rats.

Abstract: This article focuses on the profile of agencies which offer communication services through new media related to the information role of the major search engines systems (like Google, Yahoo and others). In particular, attention is paid to firms operating in that context which are taking an innovative profile when compared to communication agencies linked to traditional media. The article develops the following steps: in a first part the characteristics are taken into consideration through inno-vative communication systems search engines in relation to market trends and the latest configuration of actors linked to them; a second step considers the case of an Italian company acting as an agency in the so-called "online media market", highlighting the type of skills and relationships developed through this; finally in a third part some thoughts on the characteristics of the new communication agencies are proposed in comparison with those of the traditional ad-vertising agencies operating with the help of the more traditional mass media. At the conclusion of the article some implications of the analysis are developed and evaluations are made about the development of new business communication services object of our analysis.
Colleges of Pharmacy in Southern Brazil Providing Disciplines of Radiopharmaceuticals

Abstract: Radiopharmacy is an essential and integral part of nuclear medicine. Preparation of reactive substances has to be carried out by competent professionals, who must be able to demonstrate knowledge of all areas of the specialty. Given the responsibilities of the pharmacist, this study aimed at analyzing the curriculum of the college of pharmacy at Universities of the Southern Brazil offering the discipline of radiopharmacy (or similar). The curriculum of pharmacy institutions in Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul states, certified by the Ministry of Education site (e-MEC) was obtained from the website of each institution and evaluated. From the 56 universities found, only five have a specific discipline of radioactivity in the pharmaceutical area in their curriculum. They are Methodist University, Federal University of Pelotas, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, PUC-Paraná and Federal University of Paraná. Only three institutions presented 40 hours of lessons, the minimum required to the registration of the professional by the National Commission of Nuclear Energy.
