RP-HPLC METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS ESTIMATION OF VALSARTAN AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE IN SOLID DOSAGE FORM

Abstract: A simple, selective, rapid, precise and economical reverse phase HPLC method has been developed for the simultaneous estimation of Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide in solid dosage form. The method was carried out on a C18 Intersil (250 X 4.6 i.d., particle size 10μm) column with a mobile phase consisting of 0.02M Potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate:Methanol:Triethylamine [25:75:0.2 %v/v/v, pH 6.0]at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. Detection was carried out at 259 nm. The retention time of Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide was found to be 4.15 and 3.20 min, respectively. The developed method was validated in terms of accuracy, precision, linearity, limit of detection and limit of quantitation and can be used for the estimation of these drugs in combined pharmaceutical dosage forms.
REVERSE PHASE HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHIC METHOD FOR THE ANALYSIS OF GLIPIZIDE IN PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE FORMS

Abstract: A rapid and sensitive reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic methods depicted for the qualitative and quantitative assay of glipizide in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Glipizide was chromatographed on reverse phase C18 column with mobile phase consisting of 0.05 M Potassium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate: Methanol [15: 85 %v/v, pH 7.0 ± 0.05, adjusted with 1% Triethylamine]. The mobile phase was pumped at a flow rate 1 mL/min. Quantification was achieved by monitoring the ultraviolet absorbance at 225 ηm. The average retention time for Glipizide was found to be 3.21 ± 0.07. With this method, linearity was observed in the range of 10 – 2000 ηg/ml. The LOD and LOQ were found to be 5 ηg/ml and 15 ηg/ml respectively. The method was applicable for the analysis of drug in tablet formulation. The results of analysis were validated statistically.

Abstract: Web text mining is an important branch in the data mining. Text mining is the process of searching large volumes of documents from certain keywords or key phrases. An extension of text mining is web mining. Web mining is an exciting new field that integrates data and text mining within a website. It enhances the web site with intelligent behavior, such as suggesting related links or recommending new products to the consumer. One of tbe data mining activities which involve extracting meaningful new information from the data is classification & clustering technique. Clustering enables one to discover hidden similarity and key concepts. Any clustering technique relies on concepts such as a data representation model, a similarity measure, a cluster model, a clustering algorithm. The classification technique is a kind of data analysis form, which can be used to gather and describe important data set. This method is used to estimate the Categorical Label of data object. The objective of this paper is to provide a new Web Text Mining Model which include query directed web page clustering algorithm & vector space model.
STUDIES ON ANTIASTHMATIC ACTIVITY OF AQUEOUS EXTRACT OF ROOTS OF MIMOSA PUDICA LINN

Abstract: The present study designed to evaluate the antiasthmatic activity of aqueous extract of Mimosa pudica (AEMP) on in vitro and in vivo animal models. Histamine induced contraction in isolated goat tracheal chain showed that aqueous extract of Mimosa pudica (AEMP) inhibited the contractile effect of histamine (P<0.05). A dose dependent contraction of goat tracheal chain is observed. Treatment with AECP protected 74% from degranulation of mast cell as compared to control group. AEMP showed excellent protection in guinea pigs against the histamine-induced bronchospasm. Thus, AECP showed antihistaminic, mast cell stabilizing and protected guinea pigs against histamine induced PCD and hence possesses potential role in the treatment of asthma.

Triaxial projected shell model approach

Abstract: The projected shell model analysis is carried out using the triaxial Nilsson+BCS basis. It is demonstrated that, for an accurate description of the moments of inertia in the transitional region, it is necessary to take the triaxiality into account and perform the three-dimensional angular-momentum projection from the triaxial Nilsson+BCS intrinsic wavefunction.
Symmetry Breaking by Proton-Neutron Pairing

Abstract: The symmetries of the $t=1$ and $t=0$ pair-fields are different. The consequences for rotational spectra are discussed. For $t=1$, the concept of spontaneous breaking and subsequent restoration of the isospin symmetry turns out to be important. It permits us to describe the proton-neutron pair-correlation within the conventional frame of pairing between like particles. The experimental data are consistent with the presence of a $t=1$ field at low spin in $N\approx Z$ nuclei. For a substantial $t=0$ field, the spectra of even-even and odd-odd $N\approx Z$ nuclei become similar. The possibility of a rotationally induced $ J=1$ pair-field at high spin is considered.
Isovector and isoscalar superfluid phases in rotating nuclei

Abstract: The subtle interplay between the two nuclear superfluids, isovector T=1 and isoscalar T=0 phases, are investigated in an exactly soluble model. It is shown that T=1 and T=0 pair-modes decouple in the exact calculations with the T=1 pair-energy being independent of the T=0 pair-strength and vice-versa. In the rotating-field, the isoscalar correlations remain constant in contrast to the well known quenching of isovector pairing. An increase of the isoscalar (J=1, T=0) pair-field results in a delay of the bandcrossing frequency. This behaviour is shown to be present only near the N=Z line and its experimental confirmation would imply a strong signature for isoscalar pairing collectivity. The solutions of the exact model are also discussed in the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov approximation.
Rotational alignment near N=Z and proton-neutron correlations

Abstract: The effects of the residual proton-neutron interactions on bandcrossing features are studied by means of shell model calculations for nucleons in a high-j intruder orbital. The presence of an odd-nucleon shifts the frequency of the alignment of two nucleons of the other kind along the axis of rotation. It is shown that the anomalous delayed crossing observed in nuclei with aligning neutrons and protons occupying the same intruder subshell can be partly attributed to these residual interactions.
