Abstract: 为定量描述土壤-植被-大气连续体的热量及水分交换,建立了以有效比湿等为基础且具普适性的植被参数化方案——1种等温大叶模式。利用拉萨、狮泉河和南京3个试验站的气象观测资料验证并由此计算的感热通量和潜热通量以及净辐射量、土壤温度等观测结果进行对比分析表明,该植被参数化方案成功地反映了下垫面的水、热传输特征。
Inhibition of Longzhi extracts on tumor growth of transplanted H22 and S180 in mice

Abstract: Objective: To study the inhibitory effect of Longzhi extracts (extracts from a Chinese herbal compound) on the growth of transplanted hepatoma H22 and sarcoma S180 in mice. Methods: Certain dosage of Longzhi extracts was dissolved into distilled water to obtain the suspension of definite concentration. The suspension of 0.2 ml was planted on the right forefoot of each mouse. The mice were randomly divided into groups 24 hours later and treated for 7 days. One day after the treatment stopped, the mice were sacrificed and the tumor masses were taken out and weighed. Results: The inhibition rates of Longzhi extracts on the tumor of transplanted H22 and S180 were 63% and 41% respectively. Conclusion: Longzhi extracts has antitumor action.
A full numerical calculation of the Franz--Keldysh effect on magnetoexcitons in a bulk semiconductor

Abstract: We have performed a full numerical calculation of the Franz--Keldysh (FK) effect on magnetoexcitons in a bulk GaAs semiconductor. By employing an initial value method in combination with the application of a perfect matched layer, the numerical effort and storage size are dramatically reduced due to a significant reduction in both computed domain and number of base functions. In the absence of an electric field, the higher magnetoexcitonic peaks show distinct Fano lineshape due to the degeneracy with continuum states of the lower Landau levels. The magnetoexcitons that belong to the zeroth Landau level remain in bound states and lead to Lorentzian lineshape, because they are not degenerated with continuum states. In the presence of an electric field, the FK effect on each magnetoexcitonic resonance can be identified for high magnetic fields. However, for low magnetic fields, the FK oscillations dominate the spectrum structure in the vicinity of the bandgap edge and the magnetoexcitonic resonances dominate the spectrum structure of higher energies. In the moderate electric fields, the interplay of FK effect and magnetoexcitonic resonance leads to a complex and rich structure in the absorption spectrum.
Folding rate prediction using complex network analysis for proteins with two- and three-state folding kinetics  [PDF]

Abstract: It is a challenging task to investigate the different in- fluence of long-range and short-range interactions on two-state and three-state folding kinetics of protein. The networks of the 30 two-state proteins and 15 three-state proteins were constructed by complex networks analysis at three length scales: Protein Contact Networks, Long-range Interaction Networks and Short-range Interaction Networks. To uncover the relationship between structural properties and folding kinetics of the proteins, the correlations of protein network parameters with protein folding rate and topology parameters contact order were analyzed. The results show that Protein Contact Networks and Short-range Interaction Networks (for both two-state and three-state proteins) exhibit the “small-world” property and Long-range Interaction networks indicate “scale-free” behavior. Our results further indicate that all Protein Contact Networks and Short- range Interaction networks are assortative type. While some of Long-range Interaction Networks are of assortative type, the others are of disassortative type. For two-state proteins, the clustering coefficients of Short-range Interaction Networks show prominent correlation with folding rate and contact order. The assortativity coefficients of Short-range Interaction Networks also show remarkable correlation with folding rate and contact order. Similar correlations exist in Protein Contact Networks of three-state proteins. For two-state proteins, the correlation between contact order and folding rate is determined by the numbers of local contacts. Short- range interactions play a key role in determining the connecting trend among amino acids and they impact the folding rate of two-state proteins directly. For three-state proteins, the folding rate is determined by short-range and long-range interactions among residues together.
Most common SLC25A13 mutation in 400 Chinese infants with intrahepatic cholestasis

Abstract: AIM: To establish the real time fluorescence polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) with dual labeled probes for fast detection of SLC25A13 gene mutation 851del4.METHODS: Four hundred infants (< 1 year of age) with unexplained intrahepatic cholestasis from 18 provinces or municipalities in China were enrolled in this study for detecting their SLC25A13 gene mutation 851del4. Suitable primers and fluorescence-labeled probes for detecting SLC25A13 gene mutation 841del4 were designed. Normal and mutant sequences were detected by PCR with two fluorescence-labeled probes. After a single RT-PCR, results were obtained by analyzing the take-off curves. Twenty-four positive and 14 negative samples were retested by direct sequencing.RESULTS: Eight homozygous and 30 heterozygous mutations were detected in 46 mutant alleles with a 851del4 mutation rate of 5.8% (46/800). Twenty-six and 20 mutant alleles were observed respectively, in 474 and 242 alleles from the intermediate and southern areas of China. No mutant allele was detected in 84 alleles from northern China. Twenty-four positive samples including 4 homozygous and 20 heterozygous mutations, and 14 negative samples were retested by direct sequencing, which confirmed that the accuracy of RT-PCR was 100%.CONCLUSION: RT-PCR can detect the mutation 851del4 in infants with intrahepatic cholestasis with an accuracy of 100%.
Study on Earth Surface Potential and DC Current Distribution around DC Grounding Electrode  [PDF]

DC magnetic biasing problem,caused by the DC grounding electrode, threatened the safe operation of AC power grid. In this paper, the characteristics of the soil stratification near DC grounding electrode was researched. The AC-DC interconnected large-scale system model under the monopole operation mode was established. The earth surface potential and DC current distribution in various stations under the different surface thickness was calculated. Some useful conclusions are drawn from the analyzed results.

Abstract: 用不同浓度的NaCl溶液处理滨藜(Atriplex undulata)植株后发现:100mmol/L NaCl促进滨藜地上部及根部生物量积累,高于100mmol/l NaCl,抑制其生长。各部位的Na^ 和Cl^-含量随着NaCl浓度的升高明显增加。NaCl处理下,叶片的Na^ 和Cl^-含量高于根部,幼叶高于老叶,且叶片的K^ (除500mmol/L NaCl处理的老叶外),根部的K^ 、Ca^2 和NO3^-无显著变化。叶片的Na/K比随NaCl浓度的升高而增加,但较高浓度时下降(在老叶中)或维持稳定(在幼叶中)。随着处理浓度的增加,各部位对K^ 的选择性(相对于Na^ )增加,渗透调节能力增强,渗透势降低。另外,还讨论了滨藜对盐渍生境的适应特征。
A new langbeinite-type phosphate: K2AlSn(PO4)3

Abstract: Single crystals of the title compound, dipotassium aluminium tin(IV) tris[phosphate(V)], K2AlSn(PO4)3, were synthesized by a high temperature reaction in a platinum crucible. In the structure, the AlIII and SnIV atoms occupy the same site on a threefold rotation axis with occupational disorder in a 1:1 ratio. In the three-dimensional structure, Al/SnO6 octahedra and PO4 tetrahedra are interconnected via their vertices, yielding a [Al/SnP3O12]n framework. The K atoms (site symmetry 3) reside in the large cavities delimited by the [Al/SnP3O12]n framework, and are surrounded by 12 O atoms.
