Application of SARIMA Model on Money Supply  [PDF]

Abstract: In the paper, the data of the narrow money supply of China from January 2005 to March 2016 as sample, \"\" model is established by using Eviews6.0. Upon inspection, the model has good fitting effect (MAPE = 1.09) and high prediction accuracy. According to the results of the model, the paper forecasts the development trend of the narrow money supply of China and puts forward some suggestions to provide reference for monetary policy of China.
Monolingual, Bilingual Dictionaries and Language Study

Abstract: This paper tries to prove that, neither monolingual nor bilingual dictionary can, by themselves satisfy the needs of foreign language learners. Different stages of second language acquisition require different types of dictionaries, and they all have their own unique function in helping the learners to form a new language habit. This paper makes a review about present and past research and various scholarly points of views. For research approach, a quantitative method is adopted to investigate which kind of dictionary best meets the needs of students in different stages of foreign language acquisition. Finally, results and discussions are shown to conclude the investigation. Key words: monolingual dictionary, bilingual dictionary, language study Résumé: Le présent article tente de prouver que, ni le dictionnaire monolingue ni le dictionnaire bilingue ne peut satisfaire les besoins des apprenants de langues étrangères. Les différentes étapes de l’acquisition de la deuxième langue exigent de différents types de dictionnaires, et ils ont tous leur propre fonction pour aider les apprenants à former une nouvelle habitude langagière. Le présent article met en revue les recherches actuelles et passées ainsi que les points de vues académiques divers. Quant à l’approche de recherches, des méthodes quantitatives sont adoptées pour étudier quel type de dictionnaire répond le mieux aux besoins des étudiants dans les différentes phases de l’acquisition des langues étrangères. Finalement, on montre les résultats et les discussions pour conclure l’investigation. Optimized Multilevel Immune Learning Algorithm in Abnormal Detection

Abstract: Artificial immune algorithm is a kind of intelligent learning algorithm which simulates the biology immunity systems and is widely applied in anomaly detection. There are many techniques for anomaly detection. Among these approaches, Multilevel Immune Learning Algorithm (MILA) is a prominent one due to better discrimination ability and a higher detection rate. However, the limitation of MILA is the T suppressor (Ts) detector generation mechanism which fails to match the coverage of the high-dimensional self space well. In comparison with MILA, an optimized multilevel immune learning algorithm is presented. The optimized algorithm takes a novel variable-recessive threshold model into the process of detector generation and achieves a better coving effect. The experimental results indicate that the optimized algorithm is useful to the anomaly detection with very good detection rate and lower false alarm rate.
The Influence of New Enterprise Tax Reform on Foreign Invested Enterprises in China—Based on Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Analysis  [PDF]

Abstract: The law on new enterprises income tax was executed on January 1, 2008. Income tax rate for both domestic and foreign enterprises is 25% in China. This paper establishes a Computable General Equilibrium model to investigate the influence of the new company unified tax rate on foreign enterprises. This paper uses the 2007 national statistical data to calibrate parameters and obtains two equilibriums: benchmark equilibrium and 25% unified tax rate equilibrium. In addition, the influence on foreign enterprises is investigated through comparing the two equilibriums. This paper researches the relationship between unified tax rate and foreign direct investments. Finally, this paper does the sensitivity analysis of the foreign direct investments for the actual foreign enterprise income tax rate and discount coefficients of state-owned enterprises’ return on capital.
Reading Strategies’Variations Can Boost Overall Language Competences’Enhancements of Senior Middle School Students

Abstract: Language competences are based upon the accumulation, assimilation and utilization of the learnt language, whose acquisition depends upon the practice amount and practice opportunities of the language, so students are supposed to plunge into the activities of language practice actively and habitually by acting on their initiative. I think strengthening the guidance on reading strategies is a satisfactory solution to the pressing question of providing Ss with adequate self-experience opportunities, because reading can provide Ss with adequate self-experience and practice opportunities for the comprehensive acquisitions of language skills due to reading’s intrinsic characteristic.
Clinical observation of the curative effect of Qiangxin Mixture on congestive heart failure

Abstract: Objective: To investigate the efficacy of Qiangxin Mixture in patients with congestive heart failure (CHF). Methods: Sixty cases of CHF were randomly divided into Qiangxin Mixture group (treatment group,n=30) and digoxin group (control group, n=30).The total clinical effective rate,integra of the symptoms of kidney deficiency, classification of functional capacity of the NewYork Heart Association (NYHA), and echocardiogram[ejection fraction (EF), cardiac output (CO), interventricular septal thickness (IVST), posterior wall thickness (PWT), left ventricular mass index (LVMI)] as well as the measurement of plasma endothelin, angiotensin II and atrial natriuretic peptide were observed in both groups. Results: The total clinical effective rate of Qiangxin Mixture group was 87%, and improvement was significantly observed in the Lee CHF score, classification of functional capacity of the NYHA, EF and CO(P<0.05,vs before treatment),but no significant improvement in digoxin group (P>0.05). The integra of the symptoms of kidney deficiency, the levels of plasma ET, Ang II and ANP decreased significantly (P<0.01) vs before treatment and digoxin group respectively). IVST,PWT and LVMI were also reduced significantly(P <0.01)vs before treatment;P<0.05 vs digoxin group). Conclusion: The Qiangxin Mixture is effective in enhencing cardiac contraction,improving hemodynamics in the short-term and rectifying some indexes in the long-term,so it could postpone the processes of CHF. This mechanism may be related to decreasing the stimulating factors (angiotensin, endothelin) which trigger the cardiac remodeling, delaying or reversing the cardiac remodeling.
Fundamental Conditions for N-th Order Accurate Lattice Boltzmann Models

Abstract: In this paper, we theoretically prove a set of fundamental conditions pertaining discrete velocity sets and corresponding weights. These conditions provide sufficient conditions for a priori formulation of lattice Boltzmann models that automatically admit correct hydrodynamic moments up to any given N-th order.
Simulation of non-ideal gases and liquid-gas phase transitions by lattice Boltzmann equation

Abstract: We describe in detail a recently proposed lattice-Boltzmann model for simulating flows with multiple phases and components. In particular, the focus is on the modeling of one-component fluid systems which obey non-ideal gas equations of state and can undergo a liquid-gas type phase transition. The model is shown to be momentum-conserving. From the microscopic mechanical stability condition, the densities in bulk liquid and gas phases are obtained as functions of a temperature-like parameter. Comparisons with the thermodynamic theory of phase transition show that the LBE model can be made to correspond exactly to an isothermal process. The density profile in the liquid-gas interface is also obtained as function of the temperature-like parameter and is shown to be isotropic. The surface tension, which can be changed independently, is calculated. The analytical conclusions are verified by numerical simulations. (To appear in Phys. Rev. E)
Passive Random Walkers and River-like Networks on Growing Surfaces

Abstract: Passive random walker dynamics is introduced on a growing surface. The walker is designed to drift upward or downward and then follow specific topological features, such as hill tops or valley bottoms, of the fluctuating surface. The passive random walker can thus be used to directly explore scaling properties of otherwise somewhat hidden topological features. For example, the walker allows us to directly measure the dynamical exponent of the underlying growth dynamics. We use the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang(KPZ) type surface growth as an example. The word lines of a set of merging passive walkers show nontrivial coalescence behaviors and display the river-like network structures of surface ridges in space-time. In other dynamics, like Edwards-Wilkinson growth, this does not happen. The passive random walkers in KPZ-type surface growth are closely related to the shock waves in the noiseless Burgers equation. We also briefly discuss their relations to the passive scalar dynamics in turbulence.
Vizing's 2-factor Conjecture Involving Large Maximum Degree

Abstract: Let $G$ be a connected simple graph of order $n$ and let $\Delta(G)$ and $\chi'(G)$ denote the maximum degree and chromatic index of $G$, respectively. Vizing proved that $\chi'(G)=\Delta(G)$ or $\Delta(G)+1$. Following this result, $G$ is called $\Delta$-critical if $\chi'(G)=\Delta(G)+1$ and $\chi'(G-e)=\Delta(G)$ for every $e\in E(G)$. In 1968, Vizing conjectured that if $G$ is an $n$-vertex $\Delta$-critical graph, then the independence number $\alpha(G)\le n/2$. Furthermore, he conjectured that, in fact, $G$ has a 2-factor. Luo and Zhao showed that if $G$ is an $n$-vertex $\Delta$-critical graph with $\Delta(G)\ge n/2$, then $\alpha(G)\le n/2$. More recently, they showed that if $G$ is an $n$-vertex $\Delta$-critical graph with $\Delta(G)\ge 6n/7$, then $G$ has a hamiltonian cycle, and so $G$ has a 2-factor. In this paper, we show that if $G$ is an $n$-vertex $\Delta$-critical graph with $\Delta(G)\ge n/2$, then $G$ has a 2-factor.
