Abstract: The interdisciplinary deficit and mono-scientific tradition of Greek university function as a powerful brake to the development of sciences. The crucial question which emerges is how exactly can the development and promotion of novel scientific fields be possible, which explicitly question the existing scientific delimitation and composition within the Greek universities’ arteriosclerotic structures.
Training of Tectonic Skills in Architectural Studies

Abstract: Tectonic expression of forms maintains the importance developed in architecture for a long time, but changing conditions force it to become more complex and integrate more factors. Tectonics creates preconditions for architecture as a sincretic art. So the tectonic nature of architecture becomes of great interest for the creative process. It becomes meaningful to introduce multiple and diverse problems of tectonics into architectural education. The creative work of a contemporary architect is stimulated by generation of distinctive architectural forms which are based on the nature of materials, logical adoption of structures and development of artistic appearance. Skills in modelling a tectonic form play an important role in the process of creation a sound architectural form. Therefore, it is worth to improve the methods of teaching and develop tectonic skills in a more effective way. In the process of education understanding of the interrelation of the main tectonic elements - material, structure and form (artistic appearance) - is developed. It is important to develop tectonic skills during the entire educational process. At separate educational stages different problems of architectural tectonics should be analysed, while interrelation of the main tectonic elements is to be disclosed constantly. Tectonic skills are to be developed simultaneously integrating all the relating disciplines. The educational programs of some schools feel lack of complexity in developing tectonic skills and demonstrate insufficient interdisciplinary connection and the continuity of knowledge. The necessity of a new model of complex studies is evident. To secure a gradual process of tectonic studies, a complex three-levelled model of acquiring tectonic skills is presented. Each level of the model is characterized by progressive acquaintance with the tectonic form. The first level examines tectonic characteristics in non-architectural objects and is an experimental stage; the second level is cognition of architectural tectonic systems and tectonic features of an architectural context; the third level is interpretation based on the tectonic theme: with the help of artistic appearance, an architectural object is tectonically embodied and made meaningful. The stage of interpretation of a tectonic system is the highest level of training compositional skills which integrates the main study disciplines and intensifies students' artistic intuition. At each level of the model one of the three main elements of tectonics is emphasized: at the first level - material, at the second level - structure and at the third level - form.
Greek theatre in the context of cult and culture: Different theoretical approaches

Abstract: Paper is going to research Greek theatre and its relation to Dionysian cult giving an outline of the most recognized theories in the field dealing with the issue, in order to map some of the methods and insights of the contemporary approach to Antiquity. Side by side to the acknowledged theories of Jean-Pierre Vernant (French Anthropological School of Antiquity) and of Walter Burkert, I am going to represent research of theoretician, Classicist and a specialist in Balkan linguistics and religion of an older generation active in Belgrade still in the middle of the 20th century, Milan Budimir whose visionary work sheds a new light on the contemporary theories.
Felder’s Learning Style Concept and its Index of Learning Style Questionnaire in the Slovak Conditions

Abstract: This research study emphasizes the necessity of learningstyle awareness and assessment as a possible way leading ourlearners to their own learning process auto-regulation with an aim todevelop the key competence of life-long learning. It introducesa new learning style concept of R.M. Felder and the concepts it hasoriginated from, Kolb’s experiential learning theory and Myers-Briggs′ learning type model. It offers the first results ofpsychometrical properties (reliability in the sense of stability intime) of Felder’s Index of Learning Styles questionnaire (used in thetext as ILS). Statistical analysis proved not sufficiently significantcorrelations in the Slovak conditions.

Abstract: The paper discusses the development of the traditional genre of lament for the deed in Greek antiquity, that is possible to follow since the earliest written traces (of oral tradition such as Iliad) all up to Modern Greek times. However, focus of the paper is made on the development of this female oral genre and restrictive laws and measurements against this traditional form as a consequence of the formation of the first Greek city-states. What were these measurements like, who were they aimed against and why was it necessary to control ritual lament? Was this control successful?.
Medea in the past and in the present: (Re)constructing the identity of a woman and a foreigner in the novel Medea by Christa Wolf

Abstract: One of the most shocking, the most difficult to understand and at the same time the most inspiring tragedy from the Greek antiquity is Euripeides' Medea. This drama has a rich and a long history of adaptations that have always represented an interface between the ancient text on the one hand, and the author's reading on the other, which always depended on cultural and political context of the period that influenced the perspective of the author. Most of these adaptations belong to theatrical production. However my interest in this paper is not oriented towards theatre, but towards literature, a novel Medea: A Modern Retelling by Christa Wolf. First part of the paper deals with the reconstruction of the ancient context and meaning of this drama in the antiquity from the perspective of contemporary study of classics, while the second part is devoted to the questions of Wolf's adaptation: the ways in which Christa Wolf rewrites Medea, tracing of Wolf's reasons to approach the text in such a way, the main relation of Wolf's version to former version(s), and intellectual and social climate in which Wolf's Medea was created. The focus of the research will be on the reading of the construction of the Other, of gender and gender roles, also through the analysis of their transgression - in the Greek antiquity when Euripides drama was staged, as well in the Germen (European) context of the end of the twentieth century in which Medea was rewritten by Christa Wolf.
Human or superhuman: The concept of hero in ancient Greek religion and/in politics

Abstract: The word hero appears in Greek language with a twofold meaning. On one hand it is used for denoting a divine being, who lived a mortal life, but after doing some great deed deserved to become god. On the other hand, the hero stands for great and brave warrior who is ready to give his life in order to gain immortal glory, and continue to live in the social sphere, in the memory of his descendants. Exactly this epic narrative survived and was exploited many times, as a very convenient and useful pattern in con strutting the ideal of brave warrior, ready to die for his country when necessary. I am going to requisition the relation between two meanings of the word hero, in order to get deeper insight in the meaning of this twofold term in the social and cultural context in which it appears, as a religious concept or as a narrative in war propaganda.
Relative homology and maximal l-orthogonal modules

Abstract: Let $\L$ be an artin algebra. Iyama conjectures that the endomorphism ring of any two maximal $l$-orthogonal modules, $M_1$ and $M_2$, are derived equivalent. He proves the conjecture for $l=1$, and for $l>1$ he gives some orthogonality condition on $M_1$ and $M_2$, such that the $\End_\L(M_2)^\op$-$\End_\L(M_1)$-bimodule $\Hom_\L(M_2,M_1)$ is tilting, which implies that the rings $\End_\L(M_2)$ and $\End_\L(M_1)$ are derived equivalent (see \cite{H}). The purpose of this paper is to characterize tilting modules of the form $\Hom_\L(M_2,M_1)$ in terms of the relative theories induced by the $\L$-modules $M_1$ and $M_2$, thus getting a generilization of Iyama's result.

Abstract: Let $\Lambda$ be an artin algebra with representation dimension equal to three and $M$ an Auslander generator of $\Lambda$. We show how, under certain assumptions, we can mutate $M$ to get a new Auslander generator whose endomorphism ring is derived equivalent to the endomorphism ring of $M$. We apply our results to selfinjective algebras with radical cube zero of infinite representation type, where we construct an infinite set of Auslander generators.
