Abstract: In the title complex, [Mn(SO4)(C10H9N5)(H2O)4]·2H2O, the Mn2+ cation is six-coordinated by one N atom from a 1-[(1H-1,2,3-benzotriazol-1-yl)methyl]-1H-imidazole ligand and five O atoms from one monodentate sulfate ligand and four water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are linked through O—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
Differential regulation of morphine antinociceptive effects by endogenous enkephalinergic system in the forebrain of mice

Abstract: The genotypes of bred KO mice were confirmed by PCR. Met-enkephalin immunoreactive neurons were labeled in the caudate-putamen, intermediated part of lateral septum, lateral globus pallidus, intermediated part of lateral septum, hypothalamus, and amygdala of WT mice. Met-enkephalin immunoreactive neurons were not found in the same brain areas in KO mice. Tail withdrawal and von Frey test results did not differ between WT and KO mice. KO mice had shorter latency to start paw licking than WT mice in the hot plate test. The maximal percent effect of morphine treatments (5 mg/kg and 10 mg/kg, i.p.) differed between WT and KO mice in hot plate test. The current source density (CSD) profiles evoked by peripheral noxious stimuli in the primary somatosenstory cortex (S1) and anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) were similar in WT and KO mice. After morphine injection, the amplitude of the laser-evoked sink currents was decreased in S1 while the amplitude of electrical-evoked sink currents was increased in the ACC. These differential morphine effects in S1 and ACC were enhanced in KO mice. Facilitation of synaptic currents in the ACC is mediated by GABA inhibitory interneurons in the local circuitry. Percent increases in opioid receptor binding in S1 and ACC were 5.1% and 5.8%, respectively.The present results indicate that the endogenous enkephalin system is not involved in acute nociceptive transmission in the spinal cord, S1, and ACC. However, morphine preferentially suppressed supraspinal related nociceptive behavior in KO mice. This effect was reflected in the potentiated differential effects of morphine in the S1 and ACC in KO mice. This potentiation may be due to an up-regulation of opioid receptors. Thus these findings strongly suggest an antagonistic interaction between the endogenous enkephalinergic system and exogenous opioid analgesic actions in the supraspinal brain structures.Opioid systems play an important role in numerous functions in the central nervous system (
Transverse Multimode Evolution in Non-Adiabatic Optical Micro/Nanofiber Tapers

Abstract: The multimode evolution, optical losses and wavelength response of non-adiabatic micro/nano-fiber (MNF) tapers are numerically simulated using a three-dimensional finite-difference beam propagation method. For a non-adiabatic MNF taper, it is illustrated that optical losses vary with the transition region length and the optical wavelength. We explain how the complicated multimode evolutions result in the complicated optical loss and wavelength response properties, especially when the waist diameters are large enough to allow much higher-order modes. These results may offer valuable references for trapping and guiding cold atoms in atom optics and practical application of micro/nano-devices.

Abstract: 通过球等鞭金藻生长抑制物(1-羟基,丙二酸二乙酯-十二烯酸异丙酯)对6种海洋微藻(牟氏角毛藻、纤细角毛藻、三角褐指藻、新月菱形藻、扁藻和盐藻)的生长及细胞内主要生化成分的影响,对该抑藻物质的抑藻机理进行探讨.结果表明,该生长抑制物对6种微藻生长不仅具有明显的抑制作用,而且对微藻细胞内的一些主要生化成分有显著的影响.在该抑制物作用下,6种微藻细胞内的叶绿素含量显著降低,丙二醛含量以及胞外可溶性蛋白质和多糖含量明显提高,硝酸还原酶、过氧化物酶和超氧化物歧化酶的活性也有不同程度的升高或降低.可见,球等鞭金藻生长抑制物是通过对微藻细胞内的某些主要生化成分的合成过程及其活性的调控,实现对微藻藻细胞的生长控制.

Abstract: The effects of nutrients on the growth rates of Isochrysis galbana were studied by batch culture.The results indicate that the effects of nutrient limitation on the growth rates of Isochrysis galbana can be described using the Monod equation.The multi-limitation model arrived by expanding the Monod equation could express the degrees of the different nutrient limitations.

Abstract: At this stage the application server systems, such as e-commerce platform , instant messaging system , enterprise information system and so on, will be led to lose connections , the data latency phenomena because of too much concurrent requests, application server architecture, system architecture, etc. In serious cases, the server is running blocked. The new type of application server system contains four parts: a client program, transfer servers, application servers and databases. Application server is the core of the system. Its performance determines the system’s performance. At the same time the application servers and transfer servers can be designed as the web service open to be used, and they can be achieved as distributed architecture by a number of hardware servers, which can effectively deal with high concurrent client application requests.
Toll-like receptor 4 signaling promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition in human hepatocellular carcinoma induced by lipopolysaccharide

Abstract: Background The endotoxin level in the portal and peripheral veins of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients is higher and lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a cell wall constituent of gram-negative bacteria, has been reported to inhibit tumor growth. However, in this study, we found that LPS-induced toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling was involved in tumor invasion and survival, and the molecular mechanism was investigated, Methods Four HCC cell lines and a splenic vein metastasis of the nude mouse model were used to study the invasion ability of LPS-induced HCC cells and the epithelia-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in vitro and in vivo. A total of 106 clinical samples from HCC patients were used to evaluate TLR4 expression and analyze its association with clinicopathological characteristics Results The in vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated that LPS could significantly enhance the invasive potential and induce EMT in HCC cells with TLR4 dependent. Further studies showed that LPS could directly activate nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling through TLR4 in HCC cells. Interestingly, blocking NF-κB signaling significantly inhibited transcription factor Snail expression and thereby inhibited EMT occurrence. High expression of TLR4 in HCC tissues was strongly associated with both poor cancer-free survival and overall survival in patients. Conclusions Our results indicate that TLR4 signaling is required for LPS-induced EMT, tumor cell invasion and metastasis, which provide molecular insights for LPS-related pathogenesis and a basis for developing new strategies against metastasis in HCC.
Solutions to the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation

Abstract: This is a continuation of Ref.[1](arXiv:nlin.SI/0603008). In the present paper we review solutions to the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation in terms of Wronskians. The Wronskian entry vector needs to satisfy a matrix differential equation set which contains complex operation. This is different from the case of the Korteweg-de Vries equation. We introduce an auxiliary matrix to deal with the complex operation and then we are able to give complete solution expressions for the matrix differential equation set. The obtained solutions to the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation can simply be categorized by two types: solitons and breathers, together with their limit cases. Besides, we give rational solutions to the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation in Wromskian form. This is derived with the help of the Galilean transformed modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. Finally, typical dynamics of the obtained solutions is analyzed and illustrated. We list out the obtained solutions and their corresponding basic Wronskian vectors in the conclusion part.
Solutions to the complex Korteweg-de Vries equation: Blow-up solutions and non-singular solutions

Abstract: In the paper two kinds of solutions are derived for the complex Korteweg-de Vries equation, including blow-up solutions and non-singular solutions. We derive blow-up solutions from known 1-soliton solution and a double-pole solution. There is a complex Miura transformation between the complex Korteweg-de Vries equation and a modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. Using the transformation, solitons, breathers and rational solutions to the complex Korteweg-de Vries equation are obtained from those of the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. Dynamics of the obtained solutions are illustrated.
Deriving conservation laws for ABS lattice equations from Lax pairs

Abstract: In the paper we derive infinitely many conservation laws for the ABS lattice equations from their Lax pairs. These conservation laws can algebraically be expressed by means of some known polynomials. We also show that H1, H2, H3, Q1, Q2, Q3 and A1 equation in ABS list share a generic discrete Riccati equation.
