New species of Homidia (Collembola, Entomobryidae) from eastern China with description of the first instar larvae

Abstract: Morphology of the first instar larvae of Collembola has considerably taxonomical and phylogenetic significance. We describe the first instar larvae for the first time in Homidia. External morphology of first instar larvae and adults of Homidia jordanai sp. n. is described based on observations under light and scanning electron microscopes. Most organs of adults bear considerably more setae than the first instar larvae; in addition, first instar larval Homidia lack labial seta R, seta on tenaculum, mucronal spine, and dental spines. The new species is characterized by weakly pigmented body, long antennae subequal to body in length, 1+1 inner macrochaetae on Abd. III, few inner macrochaetae on posterior Abd. IV, and spiny and short seta pi on dental base. Differences between new species and other two similar ones, taxonomical significance of the first instar larvae and the position of Homidia are also discussed.

Abstract: The title compound, {(C13H22N4)[Ag2I4]}n, was prepared by reaction of 1,3-bis(N-ethylimidazolium-1-yl)propane iodide with silver (I) oxide. In the 3,3′-diethyl-1,1′-(propane-1,3-diyl)di(1H-imidazol-3-ium) cation, the dihedral angle between the imidazole rings is 49.3 (1)°. In the [Ag2I4]2 anion, each AgI atom is bonded to three iodide anions, the two AgI atoms and two of the iodides forming Ag2I2 square-planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.01 ) units·The remaining two iodides, which are placed on opposite sides of the square, together with their centrosymmetric counterparts, link the square-planar Ag2I2 units into {[Ag2I4]2 }n polymeric chains via Ag—I bonds.

Abstract: In this work the triple differential cross sections for electron impact ionization of helium at an incident energy of 64.6 eV is considered in the coplanar symmetric energy-sharing and fixed relative angles of the two out-going electrons kinematics. A new collision process called triple-binary collision is identified. It has been shown that the ordinary double-binary collision process is excluded from the collision kinematics considered here. It has also been shown how the exchange effects symmetrically contribute to the peaks in the cross sections.

Abstract: A new class of nonlinear Lie algebra has been found, which is generated naturally by the Hamiltonian operator, the square of the angular momentum operator and the ladder operator for the central potentials. According to the theory of nonlinear Lie algebra, without using the factorization method, we obtained the vector ladder operators for the three-dimensional isotropic harmonic oscillator and hydrogen atom. The radial components of these operators, which are independent of the quantum numbers, are just the radial ladder operators for the same potentials.

Abstract: The energy spectrum-generating algebra for one-dimensional infinitely deep square potential well is constructed by using an additional phase variable, and a class of sets of the annihilation operator coherent states are introduced. These sets are strongly continuous in their parameter on the whole complex plane and satisfy the overcompleteness relation in a curved parameter space with rotational symmetry.

Abstract: 提出了一种人舌及嘴部三维肌肉控制模型.该模型根据解剖学结构及舌部运动特征,由内部舌体和外部嘴部组成.舌体运动由3类共6条肌肉控制,嘴部运动由3类共9条肌肉控制.模型建模及驱动比较方便,并已在PC机上进行了模拟,结果表明,舌体运动较逼真,可较好地模拟人舌及嘴部运动及部分表情.
Capturing Eye Multi-Curve Spectrum

Abstract: This paper presents a method of capturing multi-curve spectrums of eye movements and expressions. Based on 3D muscle controlled eye(3D-MCE)model, eye movements and expressions are described with a group of time-varying curves of normalized muscle contractions, called multi-curve spectrum. Multi-curve spectrum is obtained from single video with tracking specific control nodes and computing time-varying curves of muscle contractions. Realistic simulation results comprising eye movements and some expressions are genarated with multi-curve spectrums captured with this method.

A study of seismic anisotropy of Wenchuan earthquake sequence

Abstract: Using seismic data of the aftershock sequence of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake recorded by seismic stations in the seismic source and circumjacent areas, with the systemic analysis method of shear-waves splitting, this paper analyzes the anisotropic characteristics in the crust along and around the Longmenshan fault belt, where occurred the Wenchuan earthquake, and obtains the directions of the principal compressive stress field in the crust and their spatial distribution. The results show the following spatial difference: approximately taking Anxian area as a boundary, the polarization directions of fast shear-waves at stations located at the northeast segment of Longmenshan fault belt are in the northeast direction, consistent with the strike of the faults. However, the polarization directions of fast shear-waves at stations located at the southwest segment are in the northwest direction, which is perpendicular to the strike of the faults. This pattern also indicates that the southwest segment of the Longmenshan fault is a thrust fault, and the northeast segment a strike-slip one. In this study, the polarization directions of fast shear-waves are scattered at stations near the intersection area of the Xianshuihe fault, the Longmenshan fault and the Xiaojiang fault. It may be attributed to the local complex geology structure around the seismic source area, and is consistent with the characteristic of the complex direction of the principal compressive stress in this zone.
Preserving privacy in social networks based on d-neighborhood subgraph anonymity

Abstract: Preserving privacy is very necessary for social network information publishing, because analysis of social networks can violate the individual privacy. This paper proposed a k-anonymity model of d-neighborhood subgraph described by matrix of supe-edge. It transformed the anonymization of subgraph into matching the matrix which represented the d-neighborhood subgraph of vertex, and ensured that the numbers of isomorphic d-neighborhood subgraph was no less than k for every vertex. Experimental results show that the proposed model can effectively resist neighborhood attacks and preserve privacy information.
