Abstract: The work hardening of Hadfield manganese steel arises mainly form two causes;1)a large amount of twinning makes perfect dislocations or Shockley dislocations to be blocked at the coherent twin boundaries.2)the deformation leads to strong unsymmetrical distortion due to the occurrence of a large number gf Mn-C pairs or Mn-vacancy carbon-carbon cluster.It has been demonstrated by TEM observation and internal friction tests.As deformation pro- ceeds,the slip constantly accomodates twinning shear giving rise to stress relaxation.Thus, the Hadfield steel exhibits both rapid work hardening and good ductility.

Abstract: It was shown by the study of TEM that the fine lamellar pearlite becomes a ductile phase dur- ing cold drawing.There exist many ledges to emit dislocations at Fe_3C/Fe interface.It is one of the reasons that high density of dislocations emerges at the Fe_3C/Fe interface. Furthermore,there are some evidences to support that dislocation cuts through Fe_3C.There- fore,it is necessary to consider the contribution of cementite being sheared strengthening.

Abstract: During cold-drawing of plain steel wires, the fine lamellar cementite altered into a ductile phase with feasible deformability. A lot of ledges, which may emit the dislocations, are found along the Fe_3C/Fe interface. This seems to be one of the causes for formation of greater dislocation density along the Fe_3C/Fe inter- face during deformation. There was enough evidence to prove that the dislocation cut through Fe_3C. Therefore, it is necessary to consider its effect on strengthening.

Abstract: The laser melted-resolidified processing on W18Cr4V high speed tool steel has been made us-ing a 1 kW CO_2 continuous wave laser device.The microstructure of the laser melted-resolidified layer has been examined by optical microscopy and transmission electronmicroscopy(TEM).It was characteristic of extremely fine dendrite in the laser melted-resolidified layer and δ-ferrite in bulk form in the center of dendrite.The predominant twinmartensite and a little dislocation martensite existed in the dendrite.The thin plate-likeM_(213)C_6 carbide precipitated coherently on the twin martensites along their twin plane.Therewere both austenite rich in W,V and Cr and M_6C carbide in the interdendritic regions.

Abstract: An addition of Nb up to 2 at.-% into(Nd,Dy)-(Fe,Co)-B alloy causes the formation of dendrite Fe_2Nb and the precipitates in hard magnetic grains.Both increases with increasing Nb content.During sintering,part of Fe_2Nb dissolves within the 2:14:1 grains, and the Fe_2Nb along grain boundaries hinders the growth of 2:14:1 grains.During an- nealing,the dissolved Nb in(?)-phase precipitates out,and this nearby the grain boundary diffuses into Nd-rich phase to form new granular Fe_2Nb and to increase the Nb content in Nd-rich phase,this results in a precipitate-free zone in the(?)-grain near Nd-rich phase.

Abstract: 本文对W_(18)Cr_4V高速钢进行激光表面熔凝处理,采用光学显微镜和透射电镜分析表明,熔凝层组织为极细的树枝晶。部分枝晶中心保留有δ铁素体。枝晶内为孪晶马氏体和少量位错马氏体,孪晶马氏体上沿孪晶面M_(23)C_6碳化物呈薄片状共格析出。枝晶臂间为富W,V和Cr合金元素的奥氏体和M_6C碳化物。

Abstract: 用金相显微镜、扫描电镜分析了(Nd,Dy)-(Fe,Co)-B稀土永磁体加入Nb后显微组织的变化.结果表明,加入Nb后出现了板条状Fe_2Nb相和沉淀粒子相,且二者数量均随Nb量增加而增加.烧结时,φ相晶内的Fe_2Nb发生部分固溶,晶界的Fe_2Nb可机械阻碍晶粒长大.在时效时,φ相内固溶的Nb发生沉淀析出,晶界附近固溶的Nb扩散到富Nd相内形成新的含Nb粒子和增加富Nd相内的Nb含量。

Abstract: The morphologic,substructural and crystallographic characteristics of martensite in steels 60 and 60Si2Mn have been investigated by means of optical and transmission electron microscopy combined with B-M phenomenological crystallographic theory.The average hab- it plane of martensite in medium carbon iron alloys is{225}_f.Experimental data on the habit plane and the orientation relationship between the austenite and martensite are in agreement with the B-M theoretical calculation of using the Bain strain and lattice invariant shear on (100)011]_f.

Abstract: Some characteristics of plate martensite in a 1.03% C ferroalloy have been studied by using the transmission electron microscopy.The habit plane of the plate martensite in this ferroalloy was found to be close to{224}_f.The morphology,distribution,coalescence and curving of martensite as well as the substructure in both martensite and austenite have been observed. The mechanism of both nucleation and growth of the martensite have been discussed.
