IMPLEMENTATION OF ADAPTIVE ZONE ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR WIRELESS NETWORKS

Abstract: Mobile Ad hoc wireless Networks (MANETs) that do not need any fixed infrastructure. They are characterized by dynamic topology due to node mobility, limited channel bandwidth, and limited battery power of nodes. The key challenge in the design of ad hoc networks is the development of dynamic routing protocols that can efficiently findroutes between two communicating nodes. Thus, many ad hoc routing protocols have been proposed in recent years. All these routing protocols attempt to provide a high data packet delivery ratio and low routing control traffic at the same time. These routing protocols can be classified into three categories: proactive, reactive and hybrid routing protocols.

Abstract: Steganography is the art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one, apart from the sender and intended recipient, suspects the existence of the message, a form of security through obscurity. The advantage of steganography, over cryptography alone, is that messages do not attract attention to themselves. Cryptography protects the contents of a message, steganography can be said to protect both messages and communicating parties. Wide ranges of algorithms have been introduced using text, audio, video and imagesfiles as covering media. This paper presents a new approach for steganography in Telugu texts. Taking the typical structure of Telugu alphabets into consideration, in this approach, by shifting inherent vowel signs either left or right, we hide the secret message. The approach shows good result on the sample collected from differentTelugu newspaper.
FAULT TOLERANT NANO-MEMORY WITH FAULT SECURE ENCODER AND DECODER

Abstract: Traditionally, memory cells were the only circuitry susceptible to transient faults The supporting circuitries around the memory were assumed to be fault-free. Due to the increase in soft error rate in logic circuits, the encoder and decoder circuitry around the memory blocks have become susceptible to soft errors as well and must be protected. Memory cells have been protected from soft errors for more than a decade; due to the increase in soft error rate in logic circuits, the encoder and decoder circuitry around the memory blocks have become susceptible to soft errors as well and must also be protected. In this paper a new approach to design fault-secure encoder and decoder circuitry for memory designs. The key novel contribution of this paper is identifying and defining a new class of error-correcting codes whose redundancy makes the design of faultsecure detectors (FSD) particularly simple. We further quantify the importance of protecting encoder and decoder circuitry against transient errors, illustrating a scenario where the system failure rate (FIT) is dominated by the failure rate of the encoder and decoder. We prove that Euclidean Geometry Low-Density Parity-Check (EG-LDPC) codes have the faultsecure detector capability.
IMAGE RETIEVAL COLOR, SHAPE AND TEXTURE FEATURES USING CONTENT BASED

Abstract: Content-based image retrieval (CBIR) is an important research area for manipulating large amount of image databases and archives. Extraction of invariant features is the basis of CBIR. This paper focuses on the problem of texture, color& shape feature extractions. Using just one feature information for comparing images may cause inaccuracy than compared with using more than one features. Therefore many image retrieval system use many feature information like color, shape and other features. We use HSI color information especially Huevalue and CSS (Curvature Scale Space) as shape information. From a large image data base, an automatic shape & color Based retrivel technique can Significantly retrival task Using Just two feature information for comparing image May cause inaccuracy than compared with using more than two features Accuracy high .We are Using three features for image Retrieval like color, shape & texture Feature ,We use HIS color information especially HUE Value and CSS(curvature scale space) as shape information. As a Result Three Features combine fulfill the aspect of Retrieval in Image.
IMPLEMENTATION OF MIMO OFDM STF CODING FRAMEWORK FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Abstract: The current problems in wireless systems are multi-path propagation, frequency selective fading, inter-symbol interference and inter-carrier interference. A major challenge being transmission of information having high data rates over long distances. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems solve a few of these problems which are mentioned above. This Paper makes an attempt to simulate Space Time Frequency coded communication system using diversity schemes like MIMO and Multiple Input Single Output (MISO) and compares their performances over a fading channel having inherent noise. On simulation in MATLAB 7.0.1, MIMO scheme performed better than MISO in comparison of bit error rates with respect to signal to noise ratios. Paper also compares the channel capacity obtained by various MIMO diversities as function of signal to noise (SNR) ratio and proves that as diversity increases the channel apacity increases.
Performance Evaluation of Routing Protocols in MANETs

Abstract: In wireless ad hoc networks mobile stations or nodes are free to move around. The transmission range ofthe nodes is fixed in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) whereas the network topology changes in adifferent fashion. Due to dynamic nature of network topology some of the network links are destroyedwhile some new links are established. The routing protocols developed for wired networks cannot be usedefficiently for wireless networks. For wireless ad hoc networks there are a few new routing protocolssuitable for the dynamically changing ad hoc wireless environment. In this paper we compare theperformance of two on-demand routing protocols (AODV and DSR) in terms of QoS parameters such asthroughput, minimum, maximum & average delay and packet delivery ratio. We performed extensivesimulations using NS-2 simulator using both conventional TCP and TCP Vegas traffic sources.
HIGH SPEED BUTTERFLY ARCHITECTURE FOR CIRCULAR CONVOLUTION USING FNT WITH PARTIAL PRODUCT MULTIPLIER

Abstract: This paper presents high speed butterfly architecture for circular convolution based on FNT using partial product multipliers. FNT is ideally suited to digital computation requiring the order of N log N additions, subtractions and bit shifts, but no multiplications. In addition to being efficient, the FNT implementation is exact with no round off errors. Binary arithmetic permits the exact computation of FNT. This technique involves arithmetic in a binary code orresponding to the simplest one of a set of code translations from the normal binary representation of each integer in the ring of integer. In the first stage normal binary numbers are converted intotheir diminished-1 representation using code conversion (CC). Then butterfly operation (BO) is carried out to perform FNT and IFNT where the point wise multiplication is performed using modulo 2n+1 partial product multipliers. Thus modulo 2n+1 additions are avoided in the final stages of FNT and IFNT and hence execution delay is reduced compared to circular convolution done with FFT and DFT. This architecture has better throughput and involves less hardware complexity.

Abstract: Central to this dissertation are client driven housing management from housing associations in The Netherlands and the empowerment effects this management has on its tenants. The central issue includes what client driven housing management is (definition), in which ways this can be devised, what the envisioned effects are and which effects this management successfully accomplishes. These are answered by means of seven sub questions. The focal point of this research shifts from an exploration of all the initiatives that can be found in client driven housing management, to the empowerment effect for its tenants of ‘Te Woon’ as one of these initiatives. In this summary the answers to the seven sub questions are briefly given. What is client driven housing management (1) is answered by means of a literature study. In this dissertation client driven housing management is defined as “the management which actively involves the tenants in policy formulation and policy implementation concerning the housing quality, price and/or property rights of dwellings”. This definition includes initiatives ranging from kitchen improvement programmes offering a choice of designs, to programme formulation to improve neighbourhood quality. ‘Te Woon’ (also known as ‘the clients’ choice programme’) is included in this definition since it gives the tenants the opportunity to own a home and have control over the home. This has effect on the composition and quality of the (social) housing stock. Contrary to normal sales programmes, Te Woon offers the tenants to purchase a dwelling with a discount and offers them a shared risk (by splitting profit or loss at the moment of re-sale between housing association and owner). Moreover, the housing association is obliged to re-buy the home at the moment the tenant offers it. In this way the dwelling always re-enters the housing associations’ portfolio and doesn’t get lost from the social housing stock. How can client driven housing management initiatives be ordered and valuated (2) is answered by using different approaches to management and tenant influence devised from literature. Housing associations in the Netherlands are limited in their actions and operations by law (amongst others the BBSH). The law prescribes certain main tasks to housing associations and several policy domains have been used to determine the policy subjects that can be addressed. The influence the tenants can have on these subjects can be valuated by using the ladder of citizen participation. The ladder illustrates the grade to which the tenant has actually a say in
Tenants’ expectations of the “Client’s Choice Programme”

Abstract: In the Netherlands, several housing associations have started offering a substantial part of their housing reserve with a purchase option. This allows tenants from either new or existing dwellings to choose between entering into a standard tenancy contract and purchasing the dwelling. Housing experts expect many positive effects of what is referred to as “Client’s Choice” programmes, but many of the effects have not been evaluated. In this article, we evaluate several effects based on the tenants’ opinions gathered through the use of interviews. The tenants appreciate the offer but their expectations of and experiences with the Client’s Choice programme differ from those of the management of housing associations and are generally less optimistic.

Abstract: Na Nizozemskem ve stanovanjskih zdru enj ponuja svoja stanovanja tudi za prodajo. Najemniki novih ali obstoje ih stanovanj se lahko odlo ijo, ali bodo sklenili klasi no najemni ko pogodbo ali pa bodo stanovanje kupili. Strokovnjaki za stanovanjska vpra anja pri akujejo, da bo tako imenovani program strankina izbira deloval spodbudno, vendar tevilnih vplivov programa e niso ugotovili in raziskali. V tem lanku presojamo razli ne u inke programa. Presoja temelji na mnenjih najemnikov, ki smo jih pridobili z anketo. Najemniki so ponudbe veseli, vendar so njihova pri akovanja in izku nje, ki se navezujejo na program strankina izbira, druga ni od pri akovanj in izku enj upraviteljev stanovanjskih zdru enj in so na splo no manj optimisti ni.
