Extendibility Evaluation of Industrial EUV Source Technologies for kW Average Power and 6.x nm Wavelength Operation  [PDF]

Interests in the extendibility are growing after the introduction of the LPP (Laser Produced Plasma) EUV source technology in the semiconductor industry, towards higher average power and shorter wavelength, based on the basic architecture of the established LPP EUV source technology. It is discussed in this article that the power scaling of the 13.5nm wavelength source is essentially possible by a slight increase of the driving laser power, CE (Conversion Efficiency) and EUV collection efficiency by some introduction of novel component technologies. Extension of the EUV wavelength towards BEUV (Beyond EUV), namely 6.x nm is discussed based on the general rule of the UTA (Unresolved Transition Arrays) of high Z ions, and development of multilayer mirrors in this particular wavelength region. Technical difficulties are evaluated for the extension of the LPP source technology by considering the narrower mirror bandwidth and higher melting temperature of the candidate plasma materials. Alternative approach based on the superconducting FEL is evaluated in comparison with the LPP source technology for the future solution.

Preparation of nanostructured TiO2 photoelectrode for flexible dye-sensitized solar cell applications

Abstract: Nanocrystalline titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin film was successfully prepared by simple electrodeposition method from alkaline aqueous solution containing potassium titanium oxalate and hydroxylamine. Surface characterization of the electrodeposited films indicates the formation of crystalline TiO2. The dye solar cell constructed from dye-modified electrodeposited TiO2 film achieved an overall light-to-electricity conversion efficiency of 2.1 % under 1 sun illumination, indicating its high potential as a photoelectrode material for the DSCs.

Abstract: Surabaya as the third largest city in Indonesia, become more popular for its culinary industry from the smallest scale of traditional warung until the high end scale of fine dining restaurant. The amount of the restaurant business is gradually increase, this phenomenon makes a good advantage for the local people especially the amount of job opportunity. In the other side, restaurant industries in Surabaya also facing the high rivalry and competition among individual restaurant business. In order to survive from the competition , each business should have its own competitive advantage. Human resource is one of the most important resource to gaining the competitive advantage, since it related with human being at the final result how excellent was the planning process, human aspect will take a final decision for the result of a process. The research is focusing on the relation between motivation and job satisfaction, the writer saw the phenomenon in Pakuwon Food Festival, that some employee feel satisfy with their work, although the working pressure is high enough to make someone resign from his job within 7 days of work. According to the pre-interview, the writer found that the employee feel comfortable with their work because of their workmates is very social and feel like a new small family in working environment. This research used quantitative approach for the data process, and simple linear regression for the analysis. The result of the research is that job satisfaction is significantly affected by motivation.
Adhesion molecule, soluble adhesion molecule, and cytokine levels in patients with severe burns

Abstract: Prospective study.Seventeen patients with burns with a total burn surface area of 20% or more and a burn index of 15% or more.Endotoxin was measured by an endotoxin-specific assay. Tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin 6 and interleukin 8 were measured by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Soluble adhesion molecules were also measured by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. CD11a, CD11b, and CD18 were measured by a flow cytometry. Their levels were high in the non-surviving group, the septic shock group, and the multiple organ dysfunction syndrome group, suggesting the possibility of a close connection between them and the evolution of the pathophysiology in patients with burns complicated by infection (Table).Soluble adhesion molecules were found to indirectly reflect the level of endothelial cell adhesion molecules, suggesting that inflammatory cytokines may also be involved as factors in their production.
The perineuronal proteoglycan surface coat in the adult rat brain, with special reference to its reactions to G m ri's ammoniacal silver.

Abstract: The present study showed that many neurons in the adult rat brain possessed a perineuronal sulfated proteoglycan surface coat which reacted to cationic iron colloid and aldehyde fuchsin. This surface coat was stained supravitally with Ehrlich's methylene blue and doubly stained with Ehrlich's methylene blue and aldehyde fuchsin. The surface coat was also stained with G m ri's ammoniacal silver and doubly stained with G m ri's ammoniacal silver and cationic iron colloid. The surface coat was usually expressed together with a nerve cell surface glycoprotein net detectable with lectin Wisteria floribunda agglutinin. These findings indicate that the perineuronal proteoglycan surface coat is identical to Cajal's superficial reticulum and contains some collagenous elements. It was further demonstrated that collagenase digestion erased G m ri's ammoniacal silver impregnation within the perineuronal proteoglycan surface coat.

Evaluation of chemosensitivity prediction using quantitative dose–response curve classification for highly advanced/relapsed gastric cancer

Abstract: Background The use of standard chemotherapy regimens has changed the application of chemosensitivity tests from all chemotherapy-eligible patients to those who have failed standard chemotherapy, which includes patients with highly advanced, relapsed, or chemoresistant tumors. Methods We evaluated a total of 43 advanced primary and relapsed gastric cancers for chemosensitivity based on drug dose response curves to improve the objectivity and quality of quantitative measurements. The dose response curves were classified based on seven expected patterns. Instead of a binary chemosensitivity evaluation, we ranked drug sensitivity according to curve shapes and comparison with the peak plasma concentration (ppc) of each drug. Results A total of 193 dose response curves were obtained. The overall informative rate was 67.4%, and 85.3% for cases that had a sufficient number of cells. Paclitaxel (PXL)and docetaxel tended to show a higher rank, while cisplatin (CIS) and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) tended to show resistance, particularly among the 20 cases (46.5%) that had recurrent disease after receiving chemotherapy with CIS and S-1 (5-FU). As such, we speculate that the resistant pattern of the chemosensitivity test suggests that cells with acquired drug resistance were selected by chemotherapy. Indeed, we observed a change in the chemosensitivity pattern of a sample before and after chemotherapy in terms of PXL sensitivity, which was used after primary chemotherapy. Conclusions These results suggest that: (i) the dose–response pattern provides objective information for predicting chemosensitivity; and (ii) chemotherapy may select resistant cancer cell populations as a result of the therapy.
Ion upflow and downflow at the topside ionosphere observed by the EISCAT VHF radar

Abstract: We have determined the MLT distribution and KP dependence of the ion upflow and downflow of the thermal bulk oxygen ion population based on a data analysis using the EISCAT VHF radar CP-7 data obtained at Troms during the period between 1990 and 1996: (1) both ion upflow and downflow events can be observed at any local time (MLT), irrespective of dayside and nightside, and under any magnetic disturbance level, irrespective of quiet and disturbed levels; (2) these upflow and downflow events are more frequently observed in the nightside than in the dayside; (3) the upflow events are more frequently observed than the downflow events at any local time except midnight and at any KP level and the difference of the occurrence frequencies between the upflow and downflow events is smaller around midnight; and (4) the occurrence frequencies of both the ion upflow and downflow events appear to increase with increasing KP level, while the occurrence frequency of the downflow appears to stop increasing at some KP level. Catecholamine and Corticosteroid Secretion and Gene Expression of the Synthesizing Enzymes in Adrenal Glands of SHRSP and WKY in Response to Cold Stress

Abstract: To clarify the role of adrenal glands in hypertensive animals, levels of catecholamines and corticosteroids in plasma and the mRNA expression of the associated enzymes were measured in 6 and 9-week-old stroke-prone spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRSP) and normotensive Wistar Kyoto rats (WKY) following cold stress. With and without cold stress immersing in cold water at 4°C for 15 sec, catecholamines, adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and corticosteroids in plasma and mRNA expression in adrenal glands were measured using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), enzyme immunoassay (EIA) and DNA microarray, respectively. L-dopa, dopamine and adrenaline in plasma increased more in SHRSP than WKY at 6 and 9 weeks of age after cold stress. Th, Ddc and Dbh mRNAs were upregulated in the adrenal glands of SHRSP after cold stress, more apparent at 6 weeks than at 9 weeks of age. Corticosterone and aldosterone in plasma increased in both SHRSP and WKY, but this effect was more apparent in SHRSP after elevation of ACTH evoked by cold stress. Expressions of cyp11a1 and cyp21a1 mRNAs were upregulated in both SHRSP and WKY at 6 weeks of age after cold stress. We conclude that l-dopa, dopamine, and adrenaline were synthesized following induction of Th, Ddc and Dbh mRNAs. Corticosterone and aldosterone in plasma increased following the induction of cyp11a1 and cyp21a1 mRNAs which are stimulated along with ACTH elevation following cold stress in young SHRSP more than WKY. This difference may be related to the initiation and/or development of hypertension in SHRSP in normal condition and/or during stress.
Phase Transition of Extrinsic Curvature Surface Model on a Disk

Abstract: An extrinsic curvature surface model is investigated by Monte Carlo simulations on a disk. We found that the model undergoes a first-order transition separating the smooth phase from the collapsed phase. The results in this paper together with the previous ones suggest that the order of the transition is independent of whether the surface is compact (closed) or non-compact (open).
