Dimensiones de la calidad como antecedentes de la satisfacción y fidelidad a los destinos turísticos de sol y playa: Un estudio de caso en Natal, Brasil, sobre la percepción del turista nacional

Abstract: the study examined the dimensions of perceived quality as antecedents of tourist satisfaction with the destination, as well as the junction of these two constructs in explaining the future behavior of consumers (fidelity).therefore, if conducted an exploratory, descriptive research with quantitative analytical approach. data collection was performed by a questionnaire addressed to brazilian tourists at the augusto severo international airport and bus station of natal, the main points of entry and exit of tourists. the composition was a simple random sampling by reaching the final number of 400 tourists interviewed. among the main results, it was noted that eight are the dimensions of perceived quality of "sun and sand" segment, that is, beaches and facilities, public equipment, food and beverege, transportation, hotel equipment, hotel services, entertainment & attractions and hospitality & access. from the results, it was concluded that all dimensions of quality found work as antecedents of satisfaction, especially the factors beaches and facilities and public equipments. for the loyalty, the most relevant dimension is the own satisfaction with hotel services and food and beverage. with less importance exists the others dimensions.

Abstract: O objetivo principal do estudo é analisar a rela o causal existente entre a qualidade, a satisfa o, a fidelidade e a imagem de destinos. Para tanto, se realizou um estudo exploratório-descritivo, do tipo Survey, com enfoque analítico quantitativo. A coleta de dados foi realizada através de questionário aplicado junto aos turistas nacionais no Aeroporto Internacional Augusto Severo e na Rodoviária da Cidade do Natal, principais locais de entrada e saída de turistas no local. A composi o amostral foi aleatória simples chegando-se ao número final de 400 turistas entrevistados. Dentre os principais resultados, observou-se que s o nove as dimens es da percep o de qualidade de destinos de Sol e Praia, ou seja, Praias e Facilidades, Equipamentos Públicos, Alimentos e Bebidas, Servi os de Transportes, Equipamentos do Hotel, Servi os do Hotel, Entretenimento e Atrativos, Acesso ao Hotel e Hospitalidade. Concluiu-se que a imagem exerce influência forte e direta tanto no processo de satisfa o do consumidor quanto no de fideliza o. As dimens es da qualidade encontradas também se apresentaram como fortes influenciadoras de ambos os fatores, sendo que a satisfa o influencia de forma direta a fideliza o ao destino.

Abstract: Este artículo analizó las dimensiones de la calidad percibida como antecedente de la satisfacción del turista con el destino, como también la unión de estas dos construcciones en la fidelización del consumidor. Para esto, se realizó un estudio exploratorio descriptivo, de tipo Survey, con un enfoque analítico cuantitativo. La recolección de datos se realizó a través de una entrevista aplicada junto a los turistas nacionales en el Aeropuerto Internacional Augusto Severo y en la Autopista de la Ciudad de Natal. La composición de la muestra fue aleatoria simple; y contó con 400 turistas entrevistados. Entre los principales resultados se observó que son ocho las dimensiones percibidas de la calidad en los destinos de sol y playa: playas y facilidades, equipamientos públicos, alimentos y bebidas, servicios de transporte, equipamientos del hotel, servicios del hotel, entretenimiento y atractivos, y hospitalidad y accesos. Además, se concluye que todas las dimensiones de la calidad encontradas actúan como antecedentes de la satisfacción, destacándose los factores playas y facilidades y equipamientos públicos, mientras que para la fidelización, el papel protagonista es desempe ado por la propia satisfacción seguida, en menor medida, por las dimensiones servicios del hotel y alimentos y bebidas, teniendo las demás una influencia inferior. Abstract: This study objectified to investigate the environmental perception of the technician of clinical analyses laboratories, in the city of the Natal, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, focusing the environmental aspects and impacts, the strategical importance of the environment management for the activity, as well as the knowledge of norms and applied ambient resolutions to the sector. A research was carried through type survey, exploratory and descriptive using a questionnaire, applied in 82 laboratories getting a return tax of 53.65%. The results of the descriptive analyses and statistical point with respect to environmental conscience of the interviewed, therefore the majority (75%) described the activities of the sector as of great impact on the environment, however with little knowledge on ISO 14001 and practical of ambient protection in the sector of public health. It is concluded that a program of environmental qualification for the sector becomes necessary, in order to improve the knowledge of the professionals of the area and mitigation of risks.
Environmental Management and Competitiveness: A Survey on Environmental Awareness in Shrimp Producers in the State of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil

Abstract: The objective of the work was to investigate the perception of marine shrimp producers on the impacts of environmental management as a driver for improving competitiveness. The proposed methodology was the application of a questionnaire, using 24 variables linked to environmental awareness compounded by questions grouped into four scales: environmental attitudes, environmental behaviors, environmental regulations and farming profi le. The questionnaire was applied for producers of three sites located in the northeast of Brazil. To analyze the results, it was used descriptive analysis and the analysis of association among variables, using Pearson chi-square statistic test. Results show that 41% of the shrimp producers believe to face aggressive competitiveness in the market, and that the activity generates few environmental impacts. It was verifi ed the existence of dependence among the perception of the producers on the impact of environmental procedures as a driver for implementing competitive advantage to their business and opinion on the competition in the shrimp market, importance of environmental actions of the company in the decision of consumer purchase, and use of some ecological procedure at the farming.
Compara??o entre parametros de press?es respiratórias máximas em indivíduos saudáveis

Abstract: objective: to investigate four parameters defining maximal respiratory pressures and to evaluate their correlations and agreements among those parameters for the determination of mip and mep. methods: this was a cross-sectional study involving 49 healthy, well-nourished males and females. the mean age was 23.08 ± 2.5 years. measurements were carried out using a pressure transducer, and the estimated values for the parameters peak pressure (ppeak), plateau pressure (pplateau), mean maximal pressure (pmean), and pressure according to the area (parea) were determined with an algorithm developed for the study. to characterize the study sample, we used descriptive statistics, followed by repeated measures anova and bonferroni post hoc test or by the friedman test and the wilcoxon post hoc test, as well as by pearson's or spearman's correlation coefficients, depending on the normality of the data. the agreement between the variables was assessed with bland & altman plots. results: there were significant differences among all of the parameters studied for mip (ppeak = 95.69 ± 27.89 cmh2o; parea = 88.53 ± 26.45 cmh2o; pplateau = 82.48 ± 25.11 cmh2o; pmean = 89.01 ± 26.41 cmh2o; p < 0.05 for all) and for mep (ppeak = 109.98 ± 40.67 cmh2o; parea = 103.85 ± 36.63 cmh2o; pplateau = 98.93 ± 32.10 cmh2o; pmean = 104.43 ± 36.74 cmh2o; p < 0.0083 for all). poor agreement was found among almost all of the parameters. higher pressure values resulted in larger differences between the variables. conclusions: the maximal respiratory pressure parameters evaluated do not seem to be interchangeable, and higher pressure values result in larger differences among the parameters.

Abstract: the aim of this work was to evaluate the yield and fruit quality of the 'paluma' guava subjected to drastic pruning, in different months, at s?o manuel experimental farm fca/unesp, botucatu campus-sp, brazil. the experiment was carried out in a complete randomized design with four treatments and 10 replications, with one plant per plot. the treatments consisted of: t1: no pruning, t2: pruning in august, t3: pruning in september and t4: pruning in october. the following characteristics were measured: number of fruits, yield per tree, weight of fruits, longitudinal and transversal diameters, total soluble solid content (ss), titratable acidity (ta), ss/ta and ph. regarding the number of days between the beginning and end of the harvest (productive period), the pruning, regardless of the time, increased the harvest period when compared with non-pruned plants (control). the guava plants pruned in august showed higher number of fruits (385) and yield per plant (58.82 kg / plant), differing from the other pruning times. the total soluble solid contents, titratable acidity, ph and ss/ta of the fruits were not influenced by pruning times.

Abstract: methylcyclopropene (1-mcp) is an innovating chemical which inhibits the action of ethylene in plants, delaying the onset of the ripening of pomaceous fruits, stone fruits and tropical fruits. the present work intended to evaluate the efficiency of different concentrations of 1-mcp upon the control of ripening of bananas 'prata an?' produced in northern minas gerais state (brazil), stored at 12°c and 95% of rh under passive modified atmosphere. the clusters were harvested at degree 1 of skin coloration, which corresponds to the unripe stage of maturation. only the second bunches of cluster were selected which were separated into bouquet of four fruit were harvested. each plot consisted of four replicates and each replicate of one bouquet. the concentrations of 1-mcp applied were: 0, 30, 60 and 90 ppb. the fruit were packed into plastic foam trays and wrapped in 15-micron pvc film, stored at 12oc and 95% of rh, being evaluated at 10, 15, 20 and 25 days. the performed evaluations consisted of diameter, degree of skin coloration, firmness, soluble solids, titrable acidity and ph. application of 1-mcp was effective in delaying the ripening of bananas 'prata an?' grown in the north region of minas gerais state. the concentrations of 30, 60 and 90 ppb presented no distinct effect as regard to the evaluated characteristics, the concentration of 30ppb being able to be employed with a saving of the chemical, obtaining the same benefits as the concentrations of 60 and 90 ppb.

Abstract: the physical attributes of the soil vary according to the relief forms and suffer from the mineralogy of the clay fraction and the management of the sugarcane culture, being able to influence the soil compaction process. this research was developed in jaboticabal-sp, aiming at evaluating the behavior of physical attributes in different relief forms in an oxisol cropped with sugarcane. the area presents two relief forms (concave and linear), the concave one, that occurs at the highest positions, and the linear one, consisting of shoulder, scarp, stocking lean and inferior lean segments. the samples soil were collected during the sugarcane cycle, in the 0.00-0.15, 0.15-0.30 and 0.30-0.45m layers, for the determination of the organic matter and the following physical attributes: bulk density, total porosity, macro and microporosity, soil penetration resistance and soil moisture. the mineralogy most gibbsitic and the greatest value of organic matter, found in the concave relief form and in the shoulder segment, provide lower bulk density, soil penetration resistance and microporosity values and higher macroporosity and total porosity values when compared with the other segments of the linear form (caulinitic mineralogy).

Abstract: the objective of this work is to present a theoretical revision on the environmental liabilities for use of public or private managers, as well as of researchers in the sector of oil exploration. this revision, besides presenting a definition of environmental liabilities, also defines the types and techniques of liabilities collected by the u.s. environmental protection agency (epa), which aim the estimation of different types of ambient costs, resulting from past or present activities, of the production of goods that caused or, will probably, come to cause damages to the environment and, consequently, some implications of legal, economic and social nature.
