The Impact of Job Embeddedness on Employee’s Performance—The Regulation Study of Relational Embeddedness  [PDF]

Abstract: After the implementation of information system will bring a series of changes to the enterprise, the staff’s work content and business processes will also change. Based on the theory of job embeddedness and social network, this study focuses on relationship between employee’s behavior and job performance after the implementation of information system. The job embeddedness will affect the employee performance. And the implementation of information system will bring more information exchange among employees, it will form lots of networks, and staff embedded in relationship between these networks will affect the work performance. Besides, there are three dimensions of job embeddedness: job connection, job fit and job sacrifice. Job performance is divided into two dimensions: task performance and relationship performance. The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between job embeddedness and job performance, and to explore the regulate effect of relationship embeddedness between job embeddedness and job performance.
On Shrinking and Boundedly Complete Schauder Frames of Banach spaces

Abstract: This paper studies Schauder frames in Banach spaces, a concept which is a natural generalization of frames in Hilbert spaces and Schauder bases in Banach spaces. The associated minimal and maximal spaces are introduced, as are shrinking and boundedly complete Schauder frames. Our main results extend the classical duality theorems on bases to the situation of Schauder frames. In particular, we will generalize James' results on shrinking and boundedly complete bases to frames. Secondly we will extend his characterization of the reflexivity of spaces with unconditional bases to spaces with unconditional frames.
Hilbert-Schauder Frame Operators

Abstract: We introduce a new concept of frame operators for Banach spaces we call a Hilbert-Schauder frame operator. This is a hybird between standard frame theory for Hilbert spaces and Schauder frame theory for Banach spaces. Most of our results involve basic structure properties of the Hilbert-Schauder frame operator. Examples of Hilbert-Schauder frames include standard Hilbert frames and classical bases of $\ell_p$ and $L^p$-spaces with $1< p \le 2$. Finally, we give a new isomorphic characterization of Hilbert spaces.
A Multi-Agent System of Project Bidding Management Simulation

Abstract: This paper presents a simulation model based on the general framework of Multi-Agent System (MAS) that can be used to investigate construction project bidding process. Specifically, it can be used to investigate different strategies in project bidding management from the general contractors' perspective. The effectiveness of the studied management strategies is evaluated by the quality, time and cost of bidding activities. As an implementation of MAS theory, this work is expected to test the suitability of MAS in studying construction management related problems.

Abstract: The research hotspot in post-genomic era is from sequence to function. Building genetic regulatory network (GRN) can help to understand the regulatory mechanism between genes and the function of organisms. Probabilistic GRN has been paid more attention recently. This paper discusses the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) approach served as a tool to build GRN. Different genes with similar expression levels are considered as different states during training HMM. The probable regulatory genes of target genes can be found out through the resulting states transition matrix and the determinate regulatory functions can be predicted using nonlinear regression algorithm. The experiments on artificial and real-life datasets show the effectiveness of HMM in building GRN.

Abstract: A new network intrusion detection model based on immune multi-agent theory is established and the concept of multi-agents is advanced to realize the logical structure and running mechanism of immune multi-agent as well as multi-level and distributed detection mechanism against network intrusion, using the adaptability, diversity and memory properties of artificial immune algorithm and combing the robustness and distributed character of multi-agents system structure. The experiment results conclude that this system is working pretty well in network security detection.

Abstract: According to the nuclear safety regulations, this paper discusses the mechanical analysis method for piping system. Peps program has advantages of stress analysis and evaluation for nuclear piping. First, this paper introduces the Peps software, and discusses the process of stress analysis and evaluation for nuclear piping using the general finite element software; Secondly, taking nuclear class 2/3 piping system as an example, it uses Peps4.0 program to calculate the piping stress in variety of working conditions, such as weight, pressure, thermal expansion, earthquake, time-history force, and etc. Finally, the paper calculates the maximum stress and stress ratio according to the ASME.

Abstract:

40 samples are selected from the collected China’s strategic emerging industry (SEI) policies on the level of central government from 2010 to 2013, and policy content analysis is applied to conduct a textual and quantitative research on them. Through constructing a two-dimensional analytical framework of “industry development dimension” and “policy support dimension”, this paper makes a statistical analysis on the frequency of certain words counts in China's SEI policies. The results show that China's SEI policies are characterized as focused keywords, innovation as the first key element, excessive planning and insufficiency of demand-based policy.

Abstract:
Samaras or winged seeds spread themselves by wind. Ash seed, unlike other samaras, has a high aspect ratio wing which can generate enough lift force to slow down descent by rotating about the vertical axis and spinning around its wing span axis simultaneously. This unique kinematics and inherent fluid mechanism are definitely of great interest. Detailed kinematics of free falling ash seeds were measured using high-speed cameras, then corresponding aerodynamic forces and moments were calculated employing computational fluid dynamics. The results show that both rotating and spinning directions are in the same side and the spinning angular velocity is about 6 times of rotating speed. The terminal descending velocity and cone angles are similar to other samaras. Analysis of the forces and moments shows that the lift is enough to balance the weight and the vertical rotation results from a processional motion of total angular moment because the spin-cycle-averaged aer-odynamic moment is perpendicular to the total angular moment and can only change its direction but maintain its magnitude, which is very similar to a spinning top in processional motion except that the total angular moment of ash seed is not along the spin axis but almost normal to it. The flow structures show that both leading and trailing edge vortices contribute to lift generation and the spanwise spinning results in an augmentation of the lift, implying that ash seeds with high aspect ratio wing may evolve in a different way in utilizing fluid mechanisms to facilitate dispersal.
