Abstract: A new calculated method of the position area to radar is presented. The method is that the Circular Error Probability(CEP) of the smaller area is calculated using the parameters of the place of two and three radar devices. When CEP of some smaller area is less than or equal to the given value, the area belongs to the whole position area. By means of the method, the position area is gained and the position precision can be obtained.

Abstract: The electron thermal conductivity in the HT-7 tokamak is obtained by analyzing the electron power balance. In the HT-7 device, the electron thermal convection loss can be neglected, compared with ohmic input power, and the thermal conduction loss is the main energy loss mechanism. The electron thermal diffusion coefficient increases with the minor radius, and is about 100 times larger than the neo-classical theory calculation. After siliconization, the electron thermal diffusion coefficient decreases obviously at the outer half region, and the energy confinement time is prolonged.
A CMOS-compatible silicon substrate optimization technique and its application in radio frequency crosstalk isolation

Abstract: In this paper, a complementary metal--oxide semiconductor (CMOS)-compatible silicon substrate optimization technique is proposed to achieve effective isolation. The selective growth of porous silicon is used to effectively suppress the substrate crosstalk. The isolation structures are fabricated in standard CMOS process and then this post-CMOS substrate optimization technique is carried out to greatly improve the performances of crosstalk isolation. Three-dimensional electro-magnetic simulation is implemented to verify the obvious effect of our substrate optimization technique. The morphologies and growth condition of porous silicon fabricated have been investigated in detail. Furthermore, a thick selectively grown porous silicon (SGPS) trench for crosstalk isolation has been formed and about 20dB improvement in substrate isolation is achieved. These results demonstrate that our post-CMOS SGPS technique is very promising for RF IC applications.

Abstract: Multi-channel soft x-ray (SX) detectors are applied to generate images of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) oscillation on the HT-7 tokamak, and the data from SX cameras are analysed by using the Fourier--Bessel harmonic reconstruction method and the singular value decomposition. The image reconstruction of SX emissivity is obtained on the assumption of plasma rigid rotation. One of the important phenomena in the HT-7 discharge is the transition from the sawtooth oscillations to the MHD oscillations when the plasma density grows higher. The MHD structure observed in the SX tomography is featured as follows: the magnetic surface of MHD structure is made up of the crescent-shaped ``hot core' and the circular ``cold bubble'. The structure of the magnetic surface is relatively stable. It rotates in the direction of the electron diamagnetic drift at a frequency being the oscillation frequency of the MHD oscillations.

Abstract: Dynamic behaviour of fast electron in lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) experiment is a crucial issue in the sense of enhancing plasma performance. A new hard x-ray diagnostic system on HT-7 allows the investigation of the lower hybrid wave dynamics. The behaviour of fast electron is studied in several kinds of LHCD experiments, including long pulse discharges, high performance discharges and counter-LHCD experiments.

Abstract: In this paper, a GPSA face recognition approach by probabilistic subspace analysis in Gabor wavelet domain is presented. First, an improved Gabor representation scheme for face images is given, then a Gabor based probabilistic subspace model is built, so recognition is performed in a manner of probabilistic matching. The discriminatory information yielded from both probabUistic subspace analysis and Gabor representation is exploited altogether in GPSA method, and hence the robustness of face recognition system is enhanced effectively. The experimental results on a mixture face database including 190 individuals show that the proposed GPSA method outperforms the existing PSA method.

Abstract: A physics based model for SOI MOSFET has been presented,which is suitable for the design of analog integrated circuits.The model is proved to be of the fundamental properties,such as charge conservation,MOSFET source to drain intrinsic symmetry,continuity and conversion in derivatives of drain current and natural transition between the fully depleted mode and the partially depleted one of SOI MOSFET.At the same time,some second order effects of deep submicron devices have been described,such as DIBL(Drain Induced Barrier Lower Effect),carrier velocity overshoot and self heating.The accuracy of the presented model has been verified by the experimental data of SOI MOSFET with various geometry.

Abstract: 采用同步观测及对比分析方法,分析上海市郊林带区和非林带区(麦田和菜田)地下水位和地表径流的变化特征,结果表明:林带区与非林带土壤质地、耕植方式、排水形式相同,地下水位升幅高于非林带,地表径流小于非林带,这可能是林带树冠截留降水缘故(林带区与菜田比较)。但非林带雨前地下水位埋深大和林带区以坡地产流为主、非林带为蓄满产流时,林带区地下水位升幅低于非林带,地表径流大于非林带(林带区与麦田比较);林带区地下水位的消退速度都小于麦田和菜田,主要原因可能是林带区的树根有较强的蓄水能力。
